DBZ Goten : Become Stronger By Defeating Your Opponent

Chapter 168: Chapter 168: Destroying the Demon

"Moro, you're no match for me," Goku said, his calm yet confident tone resonating across the battlefield. "I think you should just surrender."

At these words, Moro's expression twisted in rage. "Surrender?!" he growled, clenching his fists. "Don't get too full of yourself, Goku. I haven't lost yet!"

Goku smiled faintly. "Is that so? In that case, I'll just have to defeat you completely!"

In an instant, Goku launched himself forward, his figure disappearing and reappearing in front of Moro in less than a blink. His fists and feet became a blur as he unleashed a flurry of attacks, each strike precise and devastating.

Moro raised his arms to block, countering Goku's blows with his own.

"Whoosh!"

"Boom! Boom! Boom!!"

Each collision of their fists sent shockwaves rippling through the battlefield, the sheer force of their battle churning up winds and scattering debris. As the fight raged on, Goku's energy grew stronger, his movements faster.

"Ahhh!" Goku roared, channeling his power into a powerful kick. His right foot struck Moro hard above the waist, sending him flying like a shooting star.

Moro screamed in pain as he crashed into a nearby mountain, the impact raising a massive cloud of dust and rubble. The entire mountain seemed to quake under the force.

At that moment, a Galactic Patrol spaceship descended from the sky, its sleek form glinting in the sunlight. As the ship landed, the hatch opened, and two figures stepped out.

One was Jaco, a familiar member of the Galactic Patrol. The other was a tall figure with a composed demeanor, exuding an aura of authority and skill.

"Jaco, who's that with you?" Krillin asked, stepping forward.

"This is Merus," Jaco replied. "He's the best of the best in the Galactic Patrol!"

"Better than you?" Krillin teased with a smirk.

Jaco glanced at Merus and hesitated. "Well… just a little bit better," he admitted.

Krillin chuckled. "I see."

Meanwhile, the dust surrounding Moro's crash site began to settle. His battered form lay sprawled in a crater, his body shaped like a starfish against the mountain.

Moro pushed himself up with a groan, his glare fixed on Goku. "Goku!" he hissed through gritted teeth.

Before Goku could respond, a figure landed beside him—it was Goten, his son, whose presence radiated a calm but commanding energy.

"Goten!" Goku said, surprised.

Goten nodded. "Dad, he's no longer a match for you. How about I help you finish him off?"

"Are you sure? I thought we were going to bring him in alive," Goku replied.

"Do you really think he'd go quietly?" Goten asked, raising an eyebrow.

Goku sighed. "Good point."

While they conversed, Moro had managed to stand, his eyes narrowing as he studied Goten. "Who are you, little brat?" he sneered. "How dare you say you'll finish me off!"

Goten smiled faintly. "I'm not some little brat. My name is Goten."

"Goten, huh?" Moro growled. Before he could say more, he rushed toward Goten with blinding speed, his claws ready to strike.

But Goten remained unfazed. "Dark Devouring," he said softly.

Above him, a swirling black vortex appeared, radiating a powerful gravitational pull. The vortex's suction force tore at the ground, pulling sand, rocks, and debris into its spiraling depths.

Moro skidded to a halt, his eyes widening in alarm. The pull of the vortex was so strong that even he struggled to maintain his footing.

"What is that?!" Moro shouted, his voice trembling slightly.

Even Goku and the others felt the powerful suction. Krillin and Jack, who stood further back, braced themselves against the pull.

After a moment, Goten raised his right hand, and the black vortex dissipated as quickly as it had appeared. The battlefield fell silent, the tension thick in the air.

Moro stared at the spot where the vortex had been, a flicker of fear crossing his face. Though he didn't fully understand the technique, he instinctively knew that being drawn into it would have dire consequences.

On the Galactic Patrol ship, Jack let out a sigh of relief. "Thank goodness that thing's gone," he muttered.

In Universe 7's divine world, Beerus and Whis had been watching the battle unfold through Whis's staff.

"Whis," Beerus said, his voice laced with curiosity, "what technique is that Goten just used?"

"I'm not entirely sure," Whis admitted. "But it appears to have properties of a sealing ."

"A seal, huh?" Beerus mused, narrowing his eyes.

Back on Earth, Moro shook off his hesitation and charged at Goten once again. But before he could strike, Goten's figure blurred. In the blink of an eye, Goten appeared behind Moro, a glowing purple sphere of energy in his hand.

"Hakai," Goten said calmly.

The sphere pulsed with destructive power, and as Goten released it, Moro let out a scream. His body began to disintegrate, disappearing into nothingness at a visible rate.

By the time the light faded, Moro was gone.

"Wow!" Krillin exclaimed. "That was incredible! Goten, you destroyed him without even turning into a Super Saiyan!"

Goten nodded. "There was no need."

Just then, a familiar voice echoed in Goten's mind.

"Ding, congratulations to the master for defeating Moro and absorbing his abilities…"

On the battlefield, Saganbo, who had been defeated by Gohan and Piccolo, watched the scene in disbelief. "Lord Moro!" he cried, his voice filled with despair.

Back in the divine realm, Beerus turned to Whis, his expression serious. "Whis, Goten's power seems to have grown immensely."

"Indeed," Whis replied with a small smile. "To defeat Moro, who required Goku to use Ultra Instinct, without much effort is a testament to Goten's extraordinary strength."

As the battle concluded, the Galactic Patrol arrived en masse to apprehend Shimorekka and the remaining criminals.

"Thank you, Goku, Vegeta, Goten, and everyone else," Merus said as he bowed slightly. "Without your help, we wouldn't have been able to capture these criminals."

"It was nothing," Goku said, scratching the back of his head with a grin.

"Well then, we'll take our leave," Merus said, gesturing to the other Galactic Patrol members. They boarded their ships and departed, leaving the Earth's defenders to savor their victory.

Elsewhere, in an alternate dimension that resembled the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a figure trained relentlessly.

Frieza, his golden form gleaming with sweat, snarled as he struck the air with ferocious power. "Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Broly… I'll make you all pay!"

Three days later, the Galactic King summoned Goku and his friends to thank them for their efforts. Though hesitant at first, they eventually agreed to meet the peculiar green octopus-like king.

"Goku," the Galactic King said, his voice filled with awe, "you're the Super Saiyan who defeated Frieza, aren't you?"

"That's me!" Goku replied with his signature grin.
