DC Heroes in Marvel

Chapter 324: C284

Hearing what Jim said, Anton became genuinely excited and brimming with ideas.

"I think we can use the recent New York War as the backdrop. This would allow people around the world to learn more about the war and understand the role the Justice League played in it," Anton suggested. "I don't have time to get into all the details right now, but you should talk to Eddie from Daily Bugle . You should have his contact."

"No problem," Jim said, nodding happily.

He could tell Anton was fully on board with the idea.

Justice League vs. Avengers!

Using the New York War as the setting and adapting it based on reality… Who else, other than DC, would dare to make such a movie?

In this film, Batman would be the absolute protagonist, and the Justice League—where Batman is a key member—would undeniably represent the force of positive energy.

That means the Avengers and all of their members would be depicted as clowns in comparison.

It's important to note that, although the Avengers have disbanded, their members—such as Iron Man Tony Stark, Osborne's Harry Osborn, Captain America Steve Rogers, and others—are still active in the public eye.

These are people with strong backgrounds. Except for Anton, who is closely tied to Batman as a member of the Justice League, who would dare to oppose them?

This means that once the film is made, it will undoubtedly become the focus of global attention. The project simply cannot fail. If it does, Jim would be willing to twist his head off and offer it up to Anton.

After the discussion with Anton wrapped up, Jim eagerly called Eddie. After some communication, both of them were thrilled.

Eddie, who had a cheeky and fun personality, was excited about the fact that this film would feature a huge crossover of heroes, and the whole world would see it once it was released. Filled with excitement, he quickly got back to work.

He told Phil about the project, who turned out to be even more excited than Jim. Don't forget, after becoming a superhero, Phil had always dreamed of having his own standalone movie, just like Batman, Wonder Woman, or cyborg .

Being part of the movie industry with a film like Justice League vs. Avengers seemed to mean that a solo movie for his character was already on the horizon.

Phil couldn't wait to drag Eddie to DC and meet with Anton's exclusive editor, Toby, to discuss the script.

Eddie and Phil were so eager they even slapped their chests to promise they could bring in authentic heroes like Spider-Man, Daredevil, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Venom, and Goblin.

Meanwhile, Anton had other matters on his mind. After leaving Jim's crew, he headed to a stadium in Los Angeles to watch a huge stunt show.

The performer, hailed as the world's best stuntman and holder of nine world records, was none other than the legendary Johnny Blaze.

After Hell Detective was released, Johnny, who played Satan, gained widespread attention. Though his role was brief, his performance was praised by critics, elevating Johnny's already impressive stunt career.

Now, with even more fame, Johnny decided to challenge his limits. He planned to drive a motorcycle across a football field, covering the distance between two goalposts.

Many media outlets called it a death wish, accusing Johnny of disregarding his life. Only his dedicated fans cheered him on. What they didn't know was that even Johnny's own team had started questioning his decision.

But Johnny was resolute. He didn't listen to their concerns, as if he had foreseen something. Today's stunt would be a pivotal moment for him—a moment where he would face life and death.

Anton sat in the front row, watching with interest. He glanced around, noting the dozens of cars set up in the distance.

"With stunts like this, I can't believe Johnny's survived all these years and set nine world records. It's rarer than an angel's blessing." Anton sighed.

In a way, it seemed that being protected by a devil was safer than being protected by an angel. Especially if that devil was Mephisto, the Lord of Hell.

Mephisto is no ordinary demon. As the ruler of Hell, his existence represents the very dimension of Hell itself, much like how Dormammu represents the Dark Dimension.

In short, he is a Marvel villain at the super-gangster level.

Fortunately, Mephisto cannot stay away from Hell for long. His control and strength are directly tied to the region he is in. The longer he is outside of Hell, the weaker his powers become.

Additionally, no matter which world he is in, it is difficult for Mephisto's true form to fully manifest on Earth.

Thus, Mephisto typically uses clones to descend to Earth, with these weaker versions of himself confusing people.

In the comics, he has made deals with many superheroes, and once a contract is made, it cannot be undone.

In this way, Mephisto has taken many precious things from superheroes, showing himself to be an extremely insidious and cunning figure.

As Anton pondered this, the sound of huge cheers surged in his ears, rising like a tidal wave.

"Has it started?" he thought.

He looked up slightly and saw Johnny Blaze appear on the football field. The audience, sporting flame stickers on their faces, cheered loudly.

As fans of Johnny Blaze, they had expectations far beyond the ordinary for this stunt performance. This was a man who constantly pushed the boundaries of his own life.

Boom!

Soon, Johnny revved the throttle on his motorcycle. As the exhaust emitted a roar like a dragon, Johnny soared into the sky, launching off the ramp.

He executed a perfect arc in mid-air before landing smoothly on the other side of the ramp.

The audience's cheers grew louder, but many of them seemed to hear nothing at all. Their eyes were fixed on Johnny, who was gripping the motorcycle handlebars tightly. A bead of sweat ran down his back.

Anton, sitting in the front row, kept his eyes locked on Johnny in mid-air, narrowing them in concentration.

Having mastered all of Constantine's knowledge, Anton could clearly see that Johnny was surrounded by a black aura, one that only a few could perceive.

This… was a sign of demonization.

It seemed that Johnny had indeed sensed something, which was why he made such a dangerous decision in the name of challenging himself.
