Death Guns In Another World

Chapter 1884: Chaper 1671: Bersek Dungeons 3

Alex stood amidst the desolate streets of the ghost town, the eerie silence broken only by the occasional rustle of wind through the broken windows of decrepit buildings. The once-thriving settlement was now a haunting shadow of its former self, with crumbled walls, overturned carts, and the remnants of what seemed to be a violent, tragic end.

The air was thick with the acrid stench of decay, and the dim light filtering through the crimson-tinged fog added an oppressive weight to the atmosphere. Around him, hundreds of ghouls and skeletons emerged from the shadows, their soulless eyes glowing faintly in the gloom.

Each creature exuded malice, their movements jerky yet purposeful as they surrounded him. The ghouls, hunched and grotesque, let out guttural growls that echoed off the ruined buildings. The skeletons clattered as they wielded rusted weapons, forming an unholy army that seemed endless.

Despite the ominous scene, Alex's lips curled into a grin.

"Well, this is going to be fun," he muttered to himself, his voice calm and filled with a dangerous excitement.

The ghouls hissed in response, sensing his lack of fear, their collective snarls growing louder as if trying to intimidate him. The skeletons raised their weapons, the sound of bones grinding against metal echoing eerily through the air.

Alex cracked his neck and rolled his shoulders, loosening up as a fiery aura began to radiate from his body. His grin widened.

"Alright, let's dance," he said, his voice carrying a confident edge.

The first wave of ghouls lunged at him, their claws glinting with malice. Alex sidestepped the closest one with ease, his movements fluid and precise. With a swift uppercut, he shattered the creature's jaw, sending it flying backward. Another came from his left, but he spun gracefully, delivering a devastating roundhouse kick that sent it crashing into a crumbling wall.

The skeletons charged next, their weapons raised. Alex summoned twin blades of pure flame, their heat distorting the air around him. He moved like a storm, his fiery swords slicing through the skeletal warriors with ease. Each strike reduced them to piles of ash and glowing embers, their rusted weapons clattering to the ground.

As the battle raged on, the ghouls became more frantic, their numbers seeming to double as more crawled out from the shadows. Yet, Alex remained unshaken.

"Come on, is this all you've got?" he taunted, his voice dripping with confidence.

A massive ghoul, larger than the others, roared and charged at him with surprising speed. Alex smirked, leaping high into the air as the creature swiped at him. Mid-air, he flipped and brought his flaming blades down in a fiery cross-slash, cutting the creature in two.

Landing gracefully, he turned to face the remaining horde, the ground beneath him scorched and smoldering.

"Who's next?" he asked, his fiery aura flaring brighter.

The remaining ghouls hesitated, their growls turning into uneasy murmurs. The skeletons, now fewer in number, began to retreat, their weapons dragging along the ground.

But Alex wasn't about to let them escape.

"You don't get to run now," he said, snapping his fingers. A wave of fire erupted from the ground, forming a barrier that encircled the remaining undead. The creatures howled in panic, their escape routes cut off.

With a determined expression, Alex dashed forward, his fiery blades blazing as he cut through the remaining monsters with precision and ferocity. Each swing of his swords left trails of fire in the air, the heat so intense that the very ground beneath him began to melt.

Within minutes, the battlefield was silent once more. The ghost town, though still shrouded in its eerie fog, was now littered with the charred remains of Alex's enemies. He stood in the center, his fiery aura gradually fading as he sheathed his swords.

"Guess that's a warm-up," he said to himself, his grin returning.

As he surveyed the area, his thoughts turned to his companions. They were scattered, each likely facing their own trials.

"I better find the others," he muttered, stepping forward into the fog, ready to face whatever the dungeon threw at him next.

As Alex ventured deeper into the eerie ghost town, the oppressive fog thickened, and the air seemed to pulse with an otherworldly energy. The faint growls and shrieks of monsters echoed through the desolate streets, a forewarning of the next wave of enemies lying in wait.

He paused for a moment, summoning Silveria, his silver gun. The elegant weapon shimmered in his hand, radiating an almost sentient energy. The intricate runes along its barrel glowed faintly, and Alex could feel the familiar hum of mana coursing through it.

"Ready for action, Silveria?" he asked with a smirk, as if speaking to an old friend.

The weapon gleamed in response, as if delighted to be back in battle. Stay tuned for updates on My Virtual Library Empire

From the shadows, the next wave of monsters emerged. This time, it was a mixed horde of armored ghouls, shadow wraiths, and hulking abominations, their grotesque forms radiating hostility.

"Looks like they're stepping up their game," Alex remarked.

Without hesitation, he raised Silveria, the gun glowing brighter as he infused it with mana. With a sharp crack, the first shot rang out—a Flame Bullet. The fiery projectile streaked through the air, striking a charging ghoul square in the chest. It erupted in a burst of flames, incinerating the creature instantly and sending nearby monsters sprawling.

Alex moved with precision, firing shot after shot. A pair of Ice Bullets followed, freezing two shadow wraiths mid-flight. Their spectral forms crystallized and shattered into shards as they hit the ground.

More monsters surged forward, their numbers seemingly endless. Alex remained unfazed, switching tactics on the fly.

"Time to mix it up," he muttered.

He fired a Chain Lightning Bullet, the electrified round striking an abomination in the chest before jumping to nearby enemies. The crackling arcs of electricity tore through the horde, leaving smoking husks in their wake.

An armored ghoul lunged at him from the side, but Alex spun on his heel, firing a Wind Bullet that sent the creature flying into a crumbling wall. The impact was followed by a sharp Earth Bullet, which buried another group of monsters under a pile of rubble.

The battlefield was a symphony of chaos, each shot from Silveria creating a dazzling display of elemental devastation. Fire erupted in brilliant bursts, ice coated the ground in crystalline frost, and lightning danced through the fog like a predator hunting its prey.

The hulking abominations proved more resilient, their thick, sinewy hides absorbing multiple hits. Alex narrowed his eyes, switching to a Piercing Bullet—a concentrated beam of energy designed to penetrate the toughest defenses.

The shot hit its mark, punching through one abomination's chest and continuing on to pierce two more behind it. They collapsed in unison, their massive forms crashing to the ground with earth-shaking thuds.

Despite the overwhelming numbers, Alex never stopped moving. He dashed between enemies, using the ruins for cover and leaping onto rooftops for a better vantage point. From above, he unleashed a volley of Explosive Bullets, the fiery blasts scattering the monsters like leaves in a storm.

As the dust settled, Alex surveyed the battlefield. The once-dense horde of monsters had been reduced to smoldering remains and scattered shards of ice.

"Not bad, Silveria," he said, inspecting the weapon.

The silver gun pulsed faintly, as if basking in the glory of their victory.

But the respite was short-lived.

Roarrrrr!

A deep, guttural roar echoed from the far end of the town.

Emerging from the fog was a Nightmare Revenant, a towering, skeletal beast clad in tattered armor, its eyes glowing with an unholy light.

Alex smirked, raising Silveria once more.

"Guess we're not done yet."

The revenant charged, its massive sword cleaving through the air with terrifying speed. Alex dodged effortlessly, countering with a series of rapid Light Bullets. The beams of radiant energy struck the revenant, searing its undead flesh and forcing it to stagger back.

As the beast roared in defiance, Alex decided to end it in style. He charged Silveria with a massive amount of mana, the gun glowing white-hot.

"Let's see you handle this," he said, pulling the trigger.

A brilliant Prismatic Bullet shot forth, a swirling vortex of all elements combined. The projectile struck the revenant, engulfing it in a blinding explosion of fire, ice, lightning, and wind. When the light faded, nothing remained but a charred crater.

Lowering Silveria, Alex let out a satisfied breath. "That's more like it."

The fog began to clear slightly, revealing a path leading deeper into the dungeon. He holstered Silveria, ready for whatever awaited him next. "Time to find the others for real while having fun," he said, stepping forward into the unknown.
