Chapter 209: On another level.
"What an interesting concept this place is," Bhatmelec looked at the sky and saw a massive palace that was ten times bigger than a colosseum floating above the clouds. "Anyway, let's just find this Nu Wa Goddess, but I think we both know where she is. What do you think that is over there?" Bhatmelec asked as she pointed at the mountains.
Manna squinted her eyes and saw something moving in between the mountains. She could see something slithered and it was massive as black clouds followed it from above.
"Nu Wa is a Goddess with a body of a snake, is it? If that's the case, I think that's her," Manna answered as she looked at Bhatmelec. "She's the last Pillar of Earth, and I have a hunch that it won't be that easy to hunt her down," Manna pointed out as she looked around.
"Gods of Earth aren't our concern. As long as we managed to kill her, our job here is done. But, if they want to stop us, they can try," Bhatmelec said as she unsheathed her sword.
A giant pole struck the ground out of nowhere and right in front of those two. They both looked like ants in front of a straw, and they couldn't see the end of it above the clouds. It started moving toward them, but Bhatmelec kicked it with her shin and it was enough to send it away and split the mountains in half in the distance.
"It's happening," Manna said as she stood next to Bhatmelec.
"Not only that, it appears the Gods from different mythologies are here as well. There are at least tens of thousands of them coming here," Amaryllis pointed out. "Do you need any assistance from the others? Everyone is ready to help if you two need them," Amaryllis added.
"That's unnecessary. I can deal with them all," Bhatmelec answered as she started walking toward the mountains where Nu Wa was.
Manna and Amaryllis looked at Bhatmelec and then decided to follow her since she was confident in herself. On their way to the mountains, it was as Amaryllis mentioned earlier that thousands of Gods from other mythologies had gathered to stop them.
"Aurea must be jealous of us right now," Manna said as she looked at the sky. "But, they're here, and yet they're not attacking us?" Manna tilted her head and looked at Zeus, Odin, Perun, Amon-Ra, and the other kings of all Gods on the clouds.
"I made us move unnoticed, slipping through time and space. Nobody can find us here," Bhatmelec answered. "Since this world hasn't been registered by Amy, it's better if we avoid them for now," Bhatmelec pointed out.
"You have that new power of yours, why don't you use it? I don't think any of them can handle your power," Manna looked at Bhatmelec with her eyebrows furrowed.
"I don't think it's time for me to use it. To be precise, I don't want to use it on these weaklings. Don't you agree?" Bhatmelec said and looked at Manna with a smirk. "I'm doing this because it's peaceful and it's efficient," Bhatmelec added.
Manna chuckled and nodded her head in agreement.
When they were walking in the forest toward the mountains, they saw Gods flying around looking for them. After they couldn't find where those three were, they all decided to go up into the sky where the palace was.
"Looks like they have plans in mind to stop us. Just be prepared for whatever they're trying to do," Amaryllis answered. "I'll try to eavesdrop on the conversation," Amaryllis said and then disappeared into thin air.
Amaryllis walked on the clouds and it felt weird because she had never walked on clouds before. She looked at all the Gods that entered the palace, and there was a big open space that could fit thousands of people. She walked among the Gods and nobody could see her because she used the same skill as Bhatmelec.
When she entered the palace, she was amazed that the inside was more spacious than it looked. She could see hundreds of Gods sitting side by side and across the gold and red carpet that led to the throne where the Jade Emperor was sitting. A man in a robe with gold carvings with two small dragons resting on his shoulders with four balls with different elements floating behind his throne.
Zeus, Odin, Perun, and all the other kings of Gods walked toward Jade Emperor as the Gods who were sitting on the sides enjoying their wine stared at them. Amaryllis walked toward Jade Emperor, and she was taken aback when Jade Emperor looked in her direction. But Jade Emperor didn't see her, only faintly felt a presence coming toward him.
"Where are they?" Zeus asked.
"If I know, I wouldn't be sitting here," Jade Emperor answered. "The Monkey King is looking for them, and he has sharp eyes, nose, and ears. If he found them, we will go down there and kill them," he continued.
"Don't underestimate them," Perun said as he stared at Jade Emperor with a serious expression. "All of us here made the same mistake and it cost us this world. We won't make the same mistake twice," Perun added.
"Don't worry. I have asked for help," Jade Emperor answered and looked at them.
"Help? From who?" Odin asked with his eyes squinted because he found it suspicious knowing all the most powerful Gods of Earth were present in front of Jade Emperor.
"You, you brought one of them down here through the cracks," Perun said as he looked at Jade Emperor.
"I did, but she's someone who's not interested in Earth, and she's willing to come down here to help us Gods to protect Earth," Jade Emperor answered. "In fact, she's here right now," Jade Emperor said as he looked to his right.
Amaryllis turned around and didn't see anyone until suddenly a hand touched her shoulder. She immediately dashed away and saw a woman in an all-white robe, holding a tree branch. She was floating and riding a pink lotus that rotated under her feet.
"You don't belong here or down on Earth. You're not a human or God. You have no soul, no emotions, and bear no life," The woman said to Amaryllis in her soothing voice.
Amaryllis was surprised that the woman could see her, and all the Gods were confused about whom the woman was talking to. They were all immediately on guard and looked in the direction where the woman was staring at.
"Leave, or I will punish you and those two in the mountains," The woman warned as she pointed the branch at Amaryllis.
Amaryllis ignored the warning and tried to measure the woman's power, but after the woman knew her intention, she sent the petals to Amaryllis. Amaryllis was confused by what those petals do until they split themselves into thousands of pieces each. The petals attacked her and she couldn't dodge them all, and what surprised her was that the petals were enough to hurt her.
Seeing the blood that dripped and hit the floor, that made all the Gods surprised. They wanted to join in, but seeing the Goddess could single-handedly deal with the problems, they decided to stay put and watch. Amaryllis, on the other hand, was overwhelmed by the petals and decided to leave.
"Who was that?" Jade Emperor asked.
"A thing in a shape of a woman," The Goddess answered. "Whatever you're dealing with, they're not humans or living beings," She continued as she stared at Odin.
Odin could see that the Goddess was reading his thoughts and knew his plans and schemes. Although she did know all that, she didn't bother about it and brushed it off. That made Odin somehow pissed, being looked down upon because he was nothing in her eyes.
"Where are they now?" Zeus asked.
"I'll show you," The Goddess answered and covered everyone with petals and teleported them all to the mountains.
Amaryllis was hurt and made both Bhatmelec and Manna confused about what had happened. Fortunately, the wounds could be healed and she was fine immediately, but she looked troubled.
"She's here..." Amaryllis said as she looked at the top of the mountains.
"Who?" Manna asked.
"The one who did this to me, a Cosmic being or a Primordial being..." Amaryllis answered. "They brought one down to Earth, and she's powerful," Amaryllis added.
"That woman over there?" Bhatmelec asked as she looked at the woman in an all-white robe riding a pink lotus flower.
"Yes, and I don't know anything about her and she's nothing like I have witnessed and observed," Amaryllis nodded her head.
"I'm a Celestial being, I can feel that she and I have a lot in common," Bhatmelec said. "I'll handle her and all the Gods. You two go and kill Nu Wa," Bhatmelec continued and showed herself to the Gods.
