Destroying My Own World

Chapter 211: Descended.

All the Gods were looking up and they could see hundreds of Cosmical beings staring down at them from space. They looked down at them like staring down at a bunch of kids playing sandcastles in the playgrounds.

Guanyin who had brought everyone back to life, immediately left to their own world. They knew their home and world would be in danger if those Cosmical beings and Primordial beings landed on their land.

Zeus and all the Olympian Gods went back to Mount Olympus with Hermes' wormhole. The moment they set their foot on the mountain, a hand grabbed Zeus' neck and lifted him as the hand tried to crush his neck.

"Well, well, well. How long has it been since the last time we met?" A woman with dark gray skin, five times taller than Zeus who was already five meters tall, having a black veil to cover her face with the long black gown she wore. "Look at all the mess here. Looks like you're incapable of stopping him," she added as her long black hair that touched the ground started to spread like dark clouds.

"Incapable? You should say that your sister let herself be killed by those people!" Zeus answered as he tried to free himself from the woman's grip.

"Of course, she would. You guys are helpless!" The woman replied and crushed Zeus' neck and killed him like an insect.

Poseidon and the others didn't dare to fight the woman, not even to open their mouths. They knew how powerful she was, and knowing she had descended, Mount Olympus had become hers to take.

"Goddess Nyx..." Athena said as she went down to her knees and lowered her head. "Earth is doomed, and soon the whole universe will have the same fate. We are in need of your help, and those of your peers," Athena pointed out and kept her head lowered.

"A bunch of insolent!" Nyx shouted and the sky immediately pushed all the Gods down to the ground and hugged their faces with it. "Asking for our help after you kicked all of us out of this world. Without those divine beings, you wouldn't be able to send us away. Now look at all of you, weaklings," Nyx glared down at them and it was enough to give everyone chills down their spines.

Nyx looked at each one of them and she noticed that there was one missing God among them.

"Where's Hera? The child whom I wish to see," Nyx asked as she looked at Poseidon, Hades, and Hestia.

"She's with him. She's with Mykel Alester," Hestia answered after Nyx lifted the pressure on Hestia so she could speak.

"She's blinded by love. I have never thought I would see another fool like Aphrodite," Nyx scoffed and looked down at Aphrodite who only cared about her beauty and never used her power to fight. "But look at her now. She's smarter than all of you seeing how she's living freely," Nyx pointed out.

When everyone was gambling on their fates, Nyx suddenly looked at the distance far north. She suddenly walked away and released them from their suffering, and then she spread her arms, and the small stars, as big as marbles descended right behind her.

All of Nyx's descendants appeared from those small stars and they were all so tall and mighty. Hades and the others saw all Nyx's children staring into the distance with their killing intent. They were curious as to what Nyx and her children were looking at, and then they saw a vast black mist that covered the whole of Central Europe.

"Looks like she's here as well," Nyx said as a sword came out of her palm, black as the sky and shiny as the stars. "I have never liked to see her around me. Her darkness reeks of blood," Nyx added.

Athena looked at Nyx and she had never seen Nyx's troubled expression. The fact she didn't hesitate to bring her sword, meant the one she looked at was quite a dangerous existence.

Nyx flew up high into the sky, and she created dozens of spears made of stars. She pointed them at the distance and didn't hesitate to shoot them toward the darkness in the far distance. The moment the spears hit the darkness, the spears were sent back to her.

Nyx opened a dark portal and devoured the spears and made them disappear before they could harm her. When the darkness came closer, everyone realized it wasn't cloud, but millions of crows. The crows then surrounded Nyx, but Nyx made them disappear with just a wave of her hand. But when the crows disappeared, a woman covered herself in a coat made of crow feathers appeared right before her.

"Baduhenna!" Nyx shouted as she swung her sword at the woman.

Baduhenna swung her two spears with a long blade like a sword and clashed them with Nyx's sword. The impact was enough to make Mount Olympus crumble and collapse, creating an avalanche down to Earth.

"Who would have thought we would see each other here, Nyx!" Baduhenna pushed Nyx and overpowered her which sent Nyx away. "We have unfinished business, and now it's the perfect time to settle it down!" Baduhenna swung her spears and created two projectile attacks.

Thanatos and his other siblings blocked the projectile attacks that Baduhenna threw at Nyx. Even with all of them together, they could barely send the projectile attacks away. The attacks were sent down to Earth and destroyed the whole city of Rome.

"Thanatos isn't weak, and yet he and the others struggled to stop the attacks," Hades said with a shocked expression. "Who's that woman?" Hades squinted his eyes.

"Baduhenna... I heard that name before, the Goddess that Odin and Nyx failed to contain. I remembered that Odin took inspiration for the Valkyries from her, and Nyx created Keres as well," Athena answered as she slowly stood up and looked at Baduhenna. "If I remember correctly, she's the Plague of Death. The one and true Deathbringer," Athena added.

"Are you talking about the one who was responsible for the death of nine hundred Gods around the world with a single swung of her attack?" Ares asked and looked at Athena with a shocked expression.

"Yes. The one of the few Gods of Frisian, the only place where all Gods didn't dare to touch," Athena answered as she nodded her head.

Baduhenna suddenly disappeared and nobody could sense where she was.

"My children!" Nyx shouted with a panicked expression.

"Measly Gods!" Baduhenna said as she held the heads of Thanatos, Keres, Nemesis, Hynos, Geras, Eris, and Charon with her left hand by the hair of theirs.

It happened almost in an instant when Baduhenna appeared and already held all the heads of Nyx's children. Their bodies fell to the mountain right in front of Hades and the others, and their bodies were still moving as if they weren't dead yet.

"I have collected a few more seeds for the trees of mine," Baduhenna smirked as she stared at the faces of angered and shocked Nyx's children.

Nyx screamed and the sky was tearing down and it felt like Earth had been turned upside down. All the Gods could feel her wrath and their heads felt like they were spinning around and were about to explode.

Humans around the world were screaming in pain and started banging their heads on hard surfaces to stop the pain. A lot of them died after they shot themselves in the head and some jumped down from high places with their heads hitting the ground first.

Guanyin created a barrier around China and stopped the madness and prevented more casualties. Gods around the world did the same thing and protected humans from Nyx's wrath. They didn't know what made Nyx so angry, but it would be better to not get involved and just watch.

They weren't weaker than Nyx, but they found fighting Nyx would be a waste of time and energy. But even so, they were scared of the one she loved, Erebus, the Primordial God of the Abyss.

"Whoever dared to anger her, may their suffering ends without pain," Guanyin said with her eyes closed.

Nyx was enraged and she sent weapons of the stars down to Baduhenna, but none of them hurt Baduhenna. The cities and countries below them had been destroyed and nothing remained.

Suddenly Baduhenna summoned her crows and made them form like a giant dead tree. At that moment, Nyx was dumbfounded and that was when she knew she would need to bring him in.

"Erebus!" Nyx screamed as she stared at the sky.

The moment Nyx called that name, the whole Earth was covered in darkness. Not a single light could leave the darkness, and all the Gods of Earth collapsed and passed out.

"What a sight to see," Mykel said with a smirk as he lit his cigarette with [Sacrilege] flame that could provide light to his surroundings.
