Detective Conan: I'm a Succubus?!

Chapter 58: Chapter 058: Sonoko’S Breast Glands Are Clear!

Akashi didn't hold back as he confronted Ryoichi.

"How shameless can you be? Acting like you're righteous while covering up your true nature!" he said sharply.

"If you were only out for revenge, why did you attack Sonoko?"

His words struck a chord with everyone, jolting them from their confusion.

That's right!

If Ryoichi's target was Chikako, why involve Sonoko?

Akashi continued, his voice cutting through the silence.

"Sonoko barely knows you and had nothing to do with this. You targeted her for one simple reason—because she saw your figure."

"So, your first instinct was to kill her to silence her. And yet, you dare to claim righteousness? Have some shame!"

"You're just putting on a performance. You severed the phone line yourself but acted panicked, pretending to be innocent. You cut the suspension bridge but played the victim, exaggerating the fear of the bandage freak."

"You're a fraud, Ryoichi Takahashi. A self-absorbed, murderous fraud!"

The young boy's words were precise and ruthless, tearing apart the façade Ryoichi had carefully constructed.

Ryoichi stared at Akashi with wide, furious eyes.

 'This boy... This bastard! '

His plan had been perfect—until this meddling kid ruined everything!

But Akashi wasn't done. He pressed on, his voice unwavering.

"Someone as selfish as you, who kills and dismembers innocent people, doesn't have the courage to commit suicide. Go on, then—prove me wrong. Do it!"

Masaru and Hiroki, who had been on edge moments ago, hesitated. They turned to watch Ryoichi, waiting to see what he would do.

Ryoichi's hands trembled as he held the knife to his neck. But he didn't move.

Akashi smirked. "Still performing, aren't you? First, you tried to guilt everyone into sympathizing with you by calling them cowards. Then, you painted your heinous crimes as justice and revenge to make yourself seem noble."

"But we all know the truth. When the police come, you're hoping to spin this story and get a reduced sentence. Your act is as transparent as glass!"

Akashi's words cut deeper than any blade, laying bare Ryoichi's true intentions.

He wasn't just aiming for moral sympathy; his target was Ayako.

Akashi knew that if Ayako, the eldest daughter of the influential Suzuki family, showed compassion and vouched for Ryoichi, it could sway public opinion.

With the Suzuki Foundation's resources, high-powered lawyers would step in. What should be a life sentence could turn into a mere three to five years in prison.

It was a calculated gamble. One that Ryoichi thought was foolproof.

But Akashi saw right through him and wasn't about to let him succeed.

Meanwhile, Sonoko watched in awe. The words Akashi hurled at Ryoichi were everything she wanted to say but couldn't.

Hearing the young boy eviscerate Ryoichi with his sharp tongue left her stunned.

'This is amazing! ' she thought, feeling a sense of relief and exhilaration.

Ryoichi, on the other hand, was seething. His face turned red with rage as he glared at Akashi, his eyes wild.

"You little brat! I'll kill you!" he bellowed.

To Ryoichi, Akashi wasn't just a nuisance. He was the one who had single-handedly destroyed a flawless plan.

Now that even his backup strategy had failed, Ryoichi saw no other option.

'I'll kill everyone in this villa and burn the place to the ground, ' he thought. 'No witnesses, no evidence. Then I'll escape into the forest and lay low. '

But first, he had to eliminate the biggest thorn in his side—Akashi!

Ryoichi discarded the dagger, letting it clatter to the ground.

With a swift motion, he drew a giant axe, wielding it with surprising ease despite his bulk. Swinging it in a wide arc, he forced Masaru and Hiroki to retreat, clearing his path toward Akashi and Ran.

Ran's eyes narrowed, a cold light flashing through them as she assessed the situation. Gently setting the boy in her arms down, she stepped forward, her long legs closing the distance between her and Ryoichi in an instant.

With her left hand, she grabbed the handle of the axe mid-swing and, with a sharp twist, snapped it clean in two.

Before Ryoichi could react, Ran closed the gap and launched a devastating kick with her right leg.

The impact was immediate. Ryoichi doubled over like a crushed shrimp, his eyes bulging in shock. The massive man was sent flying several meters before crashing to the ground, writhing in agony and vomiting bile. He couldn't muster the strength to stand again.

Seeing their chance, Masaru and Hiroki rushed forward. They quickly found a rope and bound Ryoichi tightly, ensuring he was no longer a threat.

From the sidelines, Sonoko cheered enthusiastically, her voice brimming with admiration.

"Ran, you're amazing! You knocked him out with a single kick. That's so much cooler than what happened in the woods!"

Ran waved off the compliment, smiling modestly.

"It's nothing. Earlier, I thought I was dealing with a ghost. Once I realized it was just a person pretending, there was no need to be afraid."

She glanced down at Akashi and added, "But really, we owe this victory to Akashi. Without him figuring out the culprit, things could have turned much more dangerous for everyone."

Sonoko nodded in agreement and suddenly lunged forward, scooping Akashi into a warm hug.

"Akashi is so clever—a true detective!" she gushed. "He saw through such a complex trick like it was nothing. Honestly, I think he's even smarter than Shinichi!"

Standing nearby, Conan froze, his expression souring. 'Smarter than me? ' he thought indignantly. 'What nonsense! '

Conan muttered to himself, 'It's just blind luck—like a cat stumbling upon a dead mouse! He probably just happened to see Ryoichi coming out with the evidence. '

Ran, overhearing Sonoko's praise, laughed softly.

"Whether Akashi is as smart as Shinichi, I'm not sure," she said. "But I know one thing for certain—when Shinichi was Akashi's age, he definitely wasn't this sharp!"

Conan felt a metaphorical dagger plunge into his pride.

Sonoko, still embracing Akashi, didn't miss a beat. "Akashi is a genius! You could learn a thing or two, mégane kid!"

Ran, smiling fondly, stepped forward and gently took Akashi from Sonoko's arms.

"Alright, Sonoko, that's enough. Let Akashi have a break," she teased.

Sonoko pouted, crossing her arms. "Stingy!"

Meanwhile, Masaru and Hiroki had thoroughly secured Ryoichi, even stuffing a rag into his mouth to prevent any further outbursts.

The case was effectively closed.

As the chaos settled, Akashi's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. He felt a surge of energy flow through him, like Yin energy pouring into his body.

'Tell the truth. Expose the murderer. Be rewarded with power.'

A glance at his personal attributes panel confirmed it—his Yin energy reserve had grown by 3,000, bringing his total to an impressive 11,224!

Finally, he had enough!

The succubus's two forms could now be switched at will. If he wished, he could instantly transform into his adult form—a transcendent five-dimensional stats far beyond ordinary humans.

When Akashi opened his eyes again, he felt invincible.

'Strength is confidence, ' he thought.

If he were to face Gin again, it would be an entirely different encounter.
