Chapter 105: Push Through...
Standing in the dark shade of the cave the children stand before me looking sad and scared.
I heave a heavy sigh and then squat before them.
"Conan, Hwa, Byeol, Ae-Cha, Beom, Nari and Hoon.
You all must know of how much I care for you."
The seemed gradually reduce as I spoke.
"I would never want to hurt any of you but, I am no longer just your big brother, I am now your Master... and it is now my responsibility to bring you up right even if I have to be hard on you...
I would like to apologize now for the things I might do in the future...
I cannot tell you it's going to be a blissful experience but I can promise you it's going to be worth every single torture..."
The children shiver abit hearing me mention torture.
"Just as for metal to be forged well from its core it needs to be hammered and beaten, the same way will I have you all undergo hard training but fret not, for in the end, you shall look back and say; 'It was difficult but it was worth it...'
Even if you possess a once in a millennial talent, without effort you cannot beat one with average talent who works his ass off...
Though a baby tiger possess great potential, far above that of any dog, it can never beat a fully matured German Shepherd, why because though it's talent is great, it has not grown to realize it's potential...
So without work, discipline and dedication to grow yourself, you wouldn't be able to go far in this world.
I did not accept you all as my disciples because I felt like or cause I saw potential or cause of anything...
The only reason I took you all in as my disciples was because I love you all...
This is the best way I can protect you all, having you all by my side and also teaching you...
It might slow down my goals but this is something I am hundred percent sure my sister would be happy with me doing...
So just this one time..."
Slowly I get on my knees and give a bow...
They all became flustered as they backed away a bit.
"I have once lost someone extremely dear to me, my path right now is that of revenge, hate and blood...
I would not want to loose any of you so please, even if you must hate me, make sure you push through..."
I raise my head to their eye levels still on my knees.
With my hands outstretched by my side I say to them;
"Do not falter...
Do not give up...
For I will be with you every step of the way...
Believe in me and I shall make you all the finest Martial Artists this world has ever seen."
*Hiiccc* *Hicc*
"Waahhh!!"
They all began crying as they ran to hug me.
I held them in my arms.
My heart... it felt warm... I felt emotional.
For the next two minutes I just held them close with my eyes shut.
After two minutes I take in a deep breath and exhale.
I let them go and give them a smile.
They began wiping their tears and smile back.
"Alright then, let's eat first."
I give them the fruits and some water I got from a spring.
After wrinsing the fruits we all sit and eat.
After eating I taught them some work out drills.
Push ups, jogging, hand stands, sit ups, leg raises and a whole lot of workouts to train their muscles and stamina.
Punching styles, kicking styles and fighting styles to improve their fighting skills and flexibility.
To also have them sync in with their bodies properly.
This training continues intensively for a month.
It was difficult but with grit they pushed through.
They were so determined that even after increasing the intensity to a level which i expected them to give up they pushed through until they passed out.
It was at that point I realized, this children mean business.
After a month, they were ready to receive the technique.
Looking at them stand before me they seemed more bold and confident.
Ahhh, the effects of working out...
I sit them down and begin to explain the technique to them.
"After a month of intensive workout, I believe it is now time you all learn proper Martial Arts."
Normally they would have excitedly shouted 'Yayy!' but they just smiled and giggled amongst themselves quietly.
They had matured, too fast, and not in a good way.
Children are meant to be more jolly.
I heave a sigh.
Well, they aren't your average children after all.
"The technique I am about to teach you is a very unique technique...
It is one which alot of people have tried to emulate but have always failed.
The essence of this technique is taking what belongs to others and making it yours."
Their expressions shift a little, probably from me saying that the technique I was about to teach them has to do with stealing.
"I know you must be feeling like maybe it isn't something you should learn but, on the battlefield, it's either you take your enemies life or yours gets taken from you.
It has to do with taking away the internal energy of an individual.
When you first start it might just be bits of Ki but when you completely Master it, it is said that you could completely drain someone of his Ki and Lifeforce, though no one has been recorded to have ever reached that level.
It is that powerful of a technique and I am now entrusting it to you seven.
Are you willing?"
"Yes Master!" They all reply.
"Yes, I love the enthusiasm."
Damn, who would've thought I'd ever be teaching Martial Arts to children in a cave like some Old Master...
Well I am about 64 years old...
Anyways...
"Alright then, shall we begin?.."
