After two days they were all able to efficiently channel and control their Ki, not on the level of a professional but for beginners it was something to applaud.

Conan was first to be able to properly control his Ki.

Unfortunately for Hoon, he was last so he was stuck with laundry duty.

After two days of watching them grow I was proud.

It was now time to try out what Conan had suggested.

I was quite unsure of it working but of course I was gonna try regardless.

We gather around and they sit all around me.

"Carefully, do not strain yourself, and when you feel like you are running low on Ki I want you to stop, are we clear?"

"Yes Master!" They all reply.

"Alright then, let us begin."

With a deep breath and their hands outstretched they began slowly channeling their Ki towards me.

Since they weren't directly infusing it into me I had to be the one to accept and absorb the Ki that I was being given.

It would have been better for them to directly infuse it into me but they are not yet skilled enough for that.

Absorbing Ki from the surrounding is not something difficult, but to do that you would need to concentrate and then take it into your dantian first, which is basically meditating.

Who the fuck would just sit and watch their enemy suddenly go into meditation.

The problem is immediately using the Ki without actual absorbing it, just using it to do what ever you want to do as you would do with your inner Ki.

Directly using external energy is no easy feat.

That is using Ki from outside your body.

This is something that even Supreme Peaks find extremely difficult to do and people hardly study this technique since thinking of the stress to the gain it doesn't seem worth it.

The people who actually used External energy were Formation Masters who used the Ki from the environment to activate and power their formations.

And indeed I once learnt it through alot of trials and errors while I was Sangdaejong but I didn't really see a need for it.

Since just being able to immediately use what I have within seems better I stuck with that but what if I can somehow manage to pull off the use of external energy...

Hahaha I'd crown myself again as the number one genius under the heavens.

Ahhh wait, there must have been someone who had completely mastered this art, anyways...

I began to sense the Ki approaching me but without a Dantian where could I possibly channel this Ki to?

Even my meridians are messed up so trying to take in the Ki would be difficult and painful...

But would that stop me?.. Of course not hehehe...

I began trying to take in the Ki.

With my messed up meridians it was really painful.

I just needed to take in enough and try to activate the Heavenly Demon Technique.

But to activate it Ki needs to be sparked from somewhere and since I'm currently sipping Ki into me and I don't have a Dantian I can't think of where this ignition can take place.

I notice the Ki flowing towards me began to run low.

The children, they looked tired. Of course they are just barely Second Rate Martial Artists.

Fuck, think David, think...

It needs to be settled for the ignition of the technique to take place.

I just need to activate it, c'mon...

Ahh, why does it need to be settled??

What if I...

"Children... No, disciples, can you hold on for one more minute?"

"Urgghh... Yes Master, please hurry up." They reply.

What I'm about to do is incredibly risky.

I probably really shouldn't try it but since when I have I ever been scared of risks? hehehe...

I begin to channel the Ki from the children towards my heart from the two side of my body.

What I wanted to do was to try and activate the Heavenly Demon Technique at the point of impact.

Since the impact from the two waves of Ki would cause a kind of surge, a kind of mini explosion, maybe rather than a calm Dantian, I could use a raging tide of Ki to activate it.

This could go two ways, either the impact crushes my heart and then trying to use that force to activate the technique completely ruins me and I end up dead or, I successfully use the impact to stir up my heart and for a second use it as a core to activate the Heavenly Demon Technique.

Fuck, this is crazy, fifty seconds more.

Like that David began this crazy plan of his.

A plan that could completely ruin him.

The worst case scenario was not that he died but rather that he received a fate worse than death.

To have his heart crushed and all his meridians completely destroyed.

He'd be walking a fine line between life and death, conscious but unable to move or speak, suffering in intense pain till he is eventually put out of his misery.

Such a crazy kid, or maybe crazy old man?

He began his crazy plan.

Forty five seconds left and the children are struggling to hold on.

Sweating and gritting their teeth they keep their arms outstretched, pushing Ki towards David.

Even as their faces begins to turn pale they do not stop.

David had told them to stop when they began running low on Ki, they had long passed that point but of course, for one you love, suffering a bit is not an issue, even if it means going against orders.

The two paths of Ki flowing from both sides of David, flowing from his hands towards his chest.

As they two paths near David grits his teeth, it was almost time.

Closer... closer...

*SPLUSH*

They collide, the pain immense but that was of no concern for now.

Immediately he tries it.

He activates the Heavenly Demon Technique but that might have been a mistake.

Along with the pain from the collision of the two Ki paths the activation of this technique causes more pain.

"Arrgghhh..."

He screams out in pain as Ki surges from his body.
