Dimensional Trader in Marvel

Chapter 360: Vickers Completely Lets Loose

"Vickers? Why are you the one waking me up? Where is David?" When Peter Weyland slowly woke up, he looked at Vickers standing nearby and asked in confusion.

Vickers had been waiting calmly with a slight smile for Peter Weyland to wake up. But when she heard that the first thing he asked about after waking up was David, her face immediately turned cold. She looked at this hunched old man who was over a hundred years old with a very cold stare.

"Don't worry, you'll see it soon, my dear father!" Vickers said in a voice with no feelings, her face showing no emotion.

"What happened?" When Peter Weyland heard Vickers actually call him father and use the word "it" for David, he realized something was wrong.

More than twenty years ago, when he took this daughter born outside marriage from her mother, Peter Weyland had forbidden her from calling him father. He didn't even let her use his last name.

But now she was calling him by this title with such a cold attitude.

Clearly something he didn't know about had happened.

"Don't worry, dear father. Nothing big happened. We've reached our planned destination. Soon you'll be able to meet your creators. You should be happy! Come on, help my father put on his equipment!" Vickers put on a fake smile that she didn't even try to hide.

Following her order, two medical robots walked into the ship's cabin and began putting life support equipment on Peter Weyland.

Peter Weyland was actually 103 years old this year and had long lost the ability to take care of himself. But as the owner of Earth's biggest technology company, in his old age Peter Weyland had David the android to take care of him completely. He also had a special exoskeleton-equipped space suit made for himself.

Usually, this equipment needed David and Peter Weyland's medical team to help put on.

But this equipment was very easy for the robots that Josh provided. They just scanned once and knew how to use it. They helped Peter Weyland put it on very quickly.

"I don't remember the company having such advanced robot technology..." Even though he knew something must have happened, seeing these robots that were clearly more advanced than David, Peter Weyland couldn't help but speak.

Even though David had his own emotions, having emotions was never what made robots or androids advanced or not.

As a research genius, Peter Weyland naturally understood this point clearly—he wasn't just a businessman. When he was 14 years old, he already had 12 patents.

So he could easily see that the technology used in these robots was much more advanced than what David had.

Not just Peter Weyland's company, but maybe even all of Earth didn't have such advanced technology.

Thinking about what Vickers said before about reaching their planned destination, Peter Weyland suddenly had a shocking thought.

"You met the creators? And made a deal with them?" Peter Weyland suddenly asked Vickers very excitedly.

In his mind, only the "creators" he wanted to find could have such advanced technology.

And Vickers' completely different attitude from before he went to sleep must be because she made some kind of deal with the creators. That's why she was acting so bold now.

"What? Hahahahaha..." When Vickers heard Peter Weyland's words, she was shocked at first, then couldn't help but laugh loudly. She almost laughed until tears came out.

"What's so funny? Tell me quickly!" Peter Weyland asked, still very excited.

"No, no, no, my dear father, you're wrong. Our ship hasn't landed yet. Your creators are still lying on planet LV223. These robots have nothing to do with them... Do you think robots made by your creators would have English labels? And look at this!" Vickers held back her laughter and pointed to a mark on the back of a medical robot.

Looking where Vickers pointed, Peter Weyland saw a label.

It clearly said: MADE IN Austria????

Made in Austria????

Peter Weyland was completely confused. His old brain could no longer understand what was happening.

"Hehe, I told you not to worry, my father. Soon you'll know everything." Vickers laughed coldly, then ordered two robots to "help" Peter Weyland walk out of the cabin.

After leaving the cabin, seeing five military robots guarding outside, Peter Weyland's face changed again. He immediately thought wrong again.

Military robots...

So it wasn't the creators, but the military?

But at this point, Vickers didn't care about him anymore.

She just brought him straight to the activity hall.

At this time, in the activity hall, the remaining 9 crew members were crouching in the center of the hall, shaking with fear under the watch of many robot soldiers.

When they saw Vickers proudly bringing Peter Weyland and another team of robots in, and she didn't look like a prisoner, they opened their eyes wide.

"Miss Vickers, what is going on?" Charlie Holloway couldn't help but stand up and ask.

But the next second, he was knocked down by a robot soldier's gun handle.

"Where are the rest?" Vickers didn't even look at Charlie Holloway who got hit. Instead, she asked a robot soldier nearby.

The crew for this exploration mission originally had 17 people in total, including Vickers and Peter Weyland. The android David was not counted.

So besides Vickers and Peter Weyland, and the four Peter Weyland's guards who were killed before, there should be 11 more people.

"Captain Janek and Dr. Elizabeth Shaw refused to follow orders and tried to fight back. They have been killed!" A robot soldier immediately reported.

"Oh, what a shame!" Vickers said with contempt.

Seeing Vickers act so coldly, Charlie Holloway wanted to say something, but the sharp pain in his neck told him it was better to stay quiet.

"Good morning everyone. I'm happy to see you all again... Well, this is for the employees I personally hired. As for the others, let me introduce myself. I am Meredith Vickers. I was originally here to watch you work well. But because of some special reasons, your original work is no longer needed. They will replace your work... Yes, they follow my orders. But don't worry, as long as you behave and follow orders, tragedies like what happened to Dr. Elizabeth Shaw and Captain Janek won't happen." Vickers pointed to the robots around them.

"Also, you don't need to worry about losing your jobs. After we land, there will be new work that needs you to do... Do you understand?" Vickers continued. When she talked about the new work, a strange smile appeared on her face. But except for Peter Weyland beside her, no one else seemed to notice.

"By the way, let me introduce you. This person next to me is the founder of Peter Weyland's company. He was your real boss and is also my father. Even though it's not really needed, I think it's important to introduce him. After all, you'll all be spending the next few days together." After Vickers finished speaking, she pointed to Peter Weyland to introduce him.

Hearing Vickers' words, all nine crew members looked at Peter Weyland with shock in their eyes.

Wasn't Peter Weyland supposed to have died two years ago? It was even on newspaper headlines around the world.

"Hehe, I know you must have many questions. You can ask him yourself. Oh, my dear father, here is your David. Make sure you hold him tight!" Looking at the strange expressions on both sides, Vickers laughed happily. Then she took David's head, which had become complete trash, from a robot soldier who just came in and put it in Peter Weyland's arms. His face looked very bad.

"Well, there's still a little time before we land. Everyone rest well!" After doing all this, Vickers left like a little girl, jumping and skipping.

All these years, she had held back too much.

And now, she felt more relaxed than ever before.

Of course, in the eyes of the nine crew members being watched and Peter Weyland, this woman was probably crazy.

After Vickers left and the robot soldiers moved away, the crew members quickly gathered around Peter Weyland and asked him questions anxiously.

They thought Peter Weyland must know more than they did.

"You look very happy!" On the other side of the trading device, Josh looked at Vickers and said with a smile.

Everything that just happened was done while Vickers had the trading communication open.

So he saw everything.

"Of course! You saw Peter Weyland's face too. I've never been this happy before! Thank you. If it wasn't for you, I don't know how much longer I would have had to hold back!" Back in her cabin, Vickers took off her jacket, poured herself a drink, and relaxed completely on the sofa.

"You don't need to thank me. It's just helping each other! As long as you work well with me, you can have everything!" Josh smiled.

"Ah, that really makes me excited... Cheers!" Vickers raised her glass.

...

A few hours later, the Prometheus ship landed very smoothly on planet LV-223 under the control of robot crew members.

But it didn't land in the valley like in the movie. Instead, it landed on the plains not far from the engineer base.

With Josh's support, Vickers didn't need to be as careful as Captain Janek, who had already died in the original story.

As for the coming sandstorm?

After the ship stopped, robot soldiers quickly set up a series of devices around the ship. Then an energy shield covered the Prometheus ship.

After that, the robot soldiers set up many weapon positions around the area.

Even though in the movie story, the Prometheus crew only met alien gene liquid and one sleeping engineer, there were no other living aliens except for the one that David created.

But Josh didn't think there were really no aliens on this planet.

If it was just gene liquid, how did all those engineers on this planet die years ago?

The piles of engineer bodies in the movie, and the scattered biological films and other scenes, actually showed that this planet was home to many aliens.

But because too much time had passed since the Prometheus crew came here and when the aliens got loose, and this planet had no natural life, those aliens might have starved to death or gone to sleep.

Josh thought the second possibility was more likely.

Because on the planet in the second movie Alien: Covenant, all animals had long been killed by aliens, but those many aliens were still alive. They just went to sleep because they had no food.

When the main characters arrived, David woke them up.

And now, Vickers would do many big things on this planet. This would definitely wake up those sleeping aliens, so good weapon protection was very important.

After setting up basic defenses, Vickers sent out teams of robot soldiers that she got from Josh to the engineer base. There were more than a thousand of them.

Of course, Vickers herself wouldn't go.

As for the coming sandstorm, Vickers wasn't worried either.

Because she had already gotten a new hyperspace communication command system from Josh.

Hyperspace communication could work in most extreme space environments, so why worry about just a sandstorm?

Soon the robot army successfully entered the engineer base ruins.

Because Josh warned her, Vickers had already made the robots read the data chips from David's brain. So all her robot army could now understand engineer writing and language.

So these robot armies quickly found the storage room for alien gene liquid, and the ship with the sleeping engineer. That ship was easy to find—just like the hologram recording the main characters saw in the movie, they just had to find the engineer body whose head was cut off by the automatic door.

But soon Vickers found that Josh had probably underestimated how big this base was.

After more than a thousand robots and their smart mapping drones searched for several hours, underground in this base there were actually hundreds of those U-shaped engineer ships from the movie.

The stored alien gene liquid was a scary amount.

"Why worry? I'll send you some warships and more robot armies, plus some people with special powers. You must watch these things carefully for me!" When Josh heard the news, he was happy instead of worried.
