Chapter 742: Chapter 745: The Gender of the Two Babies (Extra 3)

In Annabella’s hand was an eco-friendly bag filled with ingredients she had just bought from the supermarket.

She made a long-missed Eastonian meal for Lily Gray as soon as she arrived.

It completely satisfied Lily’s cravings.

After dinner, Annabella began tidying up the house.

Though Lily lived alone and hired a cleaning lady every week, nothing compared to the thoroughness with which Annabella cleaned.

Lily had been brought up in luxury, only having done housework while living in Austin Lucas’s home, otherwise never lifting a finger for domestic chores.

Being in Europe had taught her some independence, though she could only manage to do basic housekeeping and make simple meals.

Annabella, on the other hand, was such a professional.

This time, Lily was extremely pleased with Annabella’s services and completely submitted to her excellence.

Annabella stayed with her for several months.

During those months, she was grateful for Annabella’s company and assistance, which saved her from a lot of trouble.

Once she was seven months pregnant, she temporarily processed a leave of absence from school and stopped attending classes.

Every day, Annabella accompanied her on walks in the community park and to her prenatal checkups.

Both babies were very healthy, and Rachel Geller told her that the twins in her belly were a boy and a girl.

Thinking about Ben Lucas having a younger brother and sister, Lily Gray felt both happiness and a sense of bitter-sweetness.

Because of this, she risked being discovered just to secretly contact Skye Brown.

Unfortunately, Skye had just started talking to her when she suddenly hung up upon hearing Dylan Wellington’s voice.

There was no need to guess; Dylan Wellington was Ethan Wilson’s best friend, and if he knew that Skye and she had been in touch privately, it might affect their relationship.

Because of this, Lily Gray had to endure the longing and force herself not to think about Eastonia.

Fortunately, with the company of the two babies in her belly and Annabella, her days were not too difficult.

Time flew by, and Lily Gray was already 35 weeks pregnant.

Rachel Geller told her that the best time for twins to be born was around 37 to 38 weeks of pregnancy.

As the due date was approaching, Rachel advised her to prepare in advance.

That day, Lily Gray was watching television on the sofa when she saw Annabella come in from outside carrying several bags.

She curiously asked, “Annabella, what are you holding?”

Since becoming Lily’s housekeeper, Annabella had enjoyed buying various things from outside.

She bought different fruits every day.

The dishes she prepared were both nutritious and delicious, and most importantly, she was strict in controlling the calories, preventing the babies from growing too large.

In addition, she had almost replaced all the furniture in the house.

One day she brought an air humidifier, the next day, a water filter, and then later replaced all of Lily’s bedding with so-called eco-friendly materials.

Even the sofa she was sitting on now had been brought in by Annabella, who said that the material was more eco-friendly and healthier for the hips.

Lily initially thought that buying so many things would inevitably incur additional expenses.

However, Annabella said the household money Lily provided was not only sufficient but also had some extra.

It turned out that all these things were bought at the nearby market during special discount sales.

Lily realized that was true, as sales were frequent in Europe, and women from Eastonia were known for their frugality and domestic skills.

It was not surprising that Annabella, who had lived in Europe for many years, could buy cheap and good quality products.

This led Lily Gray to believe for a while that European food prices were particularly affordable.
