"How dare you!" Tang Xiao roared in anger.

He never expected that two ordinary soul masters would actually dare to attack him and his brother. He had assumed they would back down and wait for Ye Wen to return.

But Tang Xiao didn't realize that even ordinary soul masters who reached advanced levels carried immense pride. Whether it was the Hao Tian Sect or the Spirit Hall, if provoked enough, they wouldn't hesitate to fight back.

In the original story, a prime example of such boldness was Zhao Wuji, the Immovable Bright King.

Over the past year, both Dugu Bo and Lu Feng had come to regard the Tianxing Academy as their second home. How could they tolerate someone slandering its core figures?

Moreover, having fought their way through the soul master world, Tang Hao's provocation lacked any real justification. Even if they were injured, the Hao Tian Sect "shouldn't" say anything since no lethal force was used.

Not to mention, whether they could win was still uncertain—after all, both opponents were at the Soul Douluo level.

Since breaking through to Soul Sage and evolving his martial soul into the Bi Lin Snake Emperor, Dugu Bo's cultivation speed hadn't slowed due to aging. On the contrary, it accelerated rapidly, aided by the Blue Silver Forest. Even without developing an antidote for snake venom, Dugu Bo could suppress the poison within his body using his soul power.

At this moment, Dugu Bo was a Level 79 Battle Soul Sage.

To avoid damaging the Tianxing Academy during the battle, the two relied on years of tacit understanding to immediately push the Tang brothers away from the academy grounds.

"Old Lu, I'll handle close combat—you cover me," Dugu Bo shouted, standing atop the head of the Bi Lin Snake Emperor, clad in his imposing dark green True Body Armor.

Lu Feng quickly responded, then unleashed his sixth soul skill.

"Gravity Pressure!! Twenty times gravity!"

The Tang brothers, who had been sent flying a kilometer by the earlier ambush, suddenly felt their bodies grow heavier and sank into the ground.

"Damn it! Just as rumored, most of the teachers at the Tianxing Academy possess gravity-based soul skills. Such powerful gravity skills are rare even among the sect elders," Tang Xiao said grimly.

Beside him, Tang Hao's fighting spirit surged as he summoned his martial soul.

"So what!? A mere twentyfold gravity. Watch me crush these two stinking snakes today.

Hao Tian Nine Extremes·Collapse!"

Meteor-like radiance erupted before them as Tang Hao leapt high into the air, transforming into a streak of light. He swung his massive hammer toward Dugu Bo.

Dugu Bo's expression turned icy. This young upstart dared to be so arrogant, rushing in without even knowing the opponent's moves—it was truly like a newborn calf unafraid of tigers.

"Sixth Soul Skill·Jade Phosphorous Sky Shattering Strike."

The mouth of the Jade Phosphorous Snake Emperor beneath Dugu Bo opened wide, and a surge of deep green soul energy shot forth.

Seeing the wave of toxic energy rushing toward him, Tang Hao's face changed. The hammer, originally aimed at the Jade Phosphorous Snake Emperor, had to be swung prematurely.

The powerful piercing force of the hammer clashed with the surging venom, staining half the sky green.

Dugu Bo revealed a sinister smile.

When it came to poisons in the Douluo Continent, the Dugu family stood unrivaled.

They were experts in poison-based combat, earning the Dugu family their fearsome reputation. Ordinary soul masters wouldn't dare fight against the Jade Phosphorous Snake of the Dugu family because every one of their soul skills carried deadly toxins. Even if dispersed, the poison lingered in the air. While soul power might temporarily resist it, prolonged entanglement meant certain death for the enemy.

The reason no strong opponents were poisoned to death by Dugu Bo in the original story was that those who fought him were often immune to poison.

Tang Xiao, clearly well-informed, saw this scene and his expression shifted dramatically.

Though Tang Xiao was talented, he ultimately fell short compared to Tang Hao, being closer in ability to their father.

Thus, in terms of soul ring enhancements, Tang Xiao pursued a different path rather than stacking pure power like the core of the Hao Tian Sect.

"Fifth Soul Skill·Thunderous Roar!

Stacking, Hao Tian Nine Extremes·Penetrate!"

Tang Xiao fiercely swung his Hao Tian Hammer, now enveloped in dense lightning energy, striking the green toxic mist in front of Tang Hao.

Du Gu Bo narrowed his phoenix-like eyes, inwardly acknowledging, "No wonder he's hailed as one of the Twin Stars of the Hao Tian Sect—the future of the sect. He instantly countered my hidden move by using lightning-attribute soul power to purify the poison mist."

Seeing the immediate threat neutralized, Tang Hao seized the opportunity to press his attack.

Though he couldn't fully charge his attack in such a short time, Tang Hao opted to use a soul skill instead.

"Seventh Soul Skill·True Body of the Hao Tian Hammer!!!"

A powerful surge of soul power rippled through the air. A massive hammer, resembling a small mountain, soared into the sky, its six-pointed star pattern catching everyone's attention.

"What immense power! Is this the strength of the inherited martial soul of the Hao Tian Sect?" Director Lu Feng, observing from nearby, was secretly astonished.

Before reaching the seventh ring, beast-type martial souls held an advantage over weapon-type martial souls due to their physical strength boosts.

However, once reaching the stage where True Body could be manifested, the situation reversed.

The True Body of beast-type martial souls merely transformed the user into the form of their spirit beast. In contrast, the True Body of weapon-type martial souls was entirely different.

By infusing their soul into the weapon-type martial soul, the user became the embodiment of the weapon itself, unleashing its most powerful attributes. When martial soul quality and cultivation levels were equal, beast-type martial souls were no match for this kind of transformation.

The characteristic of the Hao Tian Hammer was its weight.

Even upon initial awakening, it weighed 50 jin. Under the influence of gravity-based soul skills, this weight doubled.

Lu Feng suddenly recalled this fact and hurriedly deactivated his own soul skill. Originally intended to restrict the enemy's movement, it had inadvertently become a boost to their attack power.

Fortunately, Director Lu Feng was an experienced fighter and quickly canceled his soul skill. Otherwise, the hammer Tang Hao brought down would have been even more devastating, and Dugu Bo wouldn't have been able to withstand it.

But Dugu Bo remained fearless. No matter how powerful the attack, if it didn't land, it was meaningless.

Compared to other martial souls, snake-type martial souls excelled not only in agility and speed but also in their body shape. The larger the body, the harder it was to directly injure.

It was like trying to swat a mosquito with one hand—you'd only send it flying without killing it.

The massive Hao Tian Hammer, even wielded by Tang Hao, proved cumbersome. He swung repeatedly, missing each time.

Dugu Bo inwardly sneered. Was Tang Hao's brain malfunctioning?

At this moment, Tang Xiao arrived to support his brother, wielding his thunderous war hammer with ferocity. The overflowing lightning caused even Dugu Bo, in his True Body state, to feel a sharp sting.

Fighting two-on-one, Dugu Bo quickly began to falter.

As the saying goes, "Those in the thick of it are often blind, while bystanders see clearly." Director Lu Feng, who had been observing from nearby, rushed over and shouted loudly:

"Old Poison Master, quickly dodge! That brat is using the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer Technique of the Hao Tian Sect. If he accumulates eighty-one strikes, no matter how fast you dodge, you'll be smashed into pieces!"
