"Who are you, and where is Qingyun Imperial Venerate!" Chu Qin asked calmly. Having met mighty beings like Garuda Heavenly Venerate, Chu Qin was not the least bit afraid of this black-robed man, despite the unfathomable depth of his realm.

"Turns out, you're a friend of Qingyun Imperial Venerate!" The black-robed man let out a ghostly smile and said, "She's already dead. I'll send you to meet her!"

No sooner had the black-robed man's words fallen than a bony, grisly hand extended from beneath the wide black robe and charged toward Chu Qin.

At that moment, all the buildings of the Azure Cloud Divine Mountain were swept up by the gale, yet none of the structures fell.

In the distance, however, sheer peaks were shattered outright, with rocks and earth dancing wildly in the sky!

"With merely the strength of Saint Sovereign Third Layer, you wish to save someone from me? How laughable!" scoffed the black-robed serpent man, as another palm transformed into a black energy sphere.

The black-robed serpent man, who dared to dismiss a cultivator of the Saint Sovereign Third Layer, was undoubtedly at the Imperial Honor Rank.

Between the Saint Sovereign Third Layer and the Imperial Honor Rank lies a mere single realm, yet the gap is as vast as heaven and earth!

In the next second, the black energy sphere surged towards Chu Qin!

With a booming sound, the black energy sphere enveloped Chu Qin and the Buddha's Light within it, before exploding violently.
