After leaving the main hall, Lin Yongming was left somewhat bewildered by Bishop Salas's unexpected enthusiasm.

This was completely baffling to Lin Yongming. In the original story, Salas was known for being cunning and deceitful, yet here he was, acting overly friendly. Was it simply because Lin Yongming was a member of Spirit Hall?

Not only Lin Yongming, but even Shi Liang, who had been stationed here for years, was equally puzzled. In his experience, Bishop Salas was a stern and serious man, especially when it came to matters concerning Spirit Hall.

What Lin Yongming didn't know was that Bishop Salas was aware of Bibi Dong's ongoing search for him. This made Salas realize Lin Yongming's potential value. Additionally, knowing Lin Yongming's exact age and that he was already a Soul Ancestor, Salas understood that this young man's future achievements in Spirit City would be extraordinary. Naturally, he didn't want to sour their relationship.

"To be a Soul Ancestor at just eleven years old... It seems the Pope and the Holy Maiden have high hopes for this boy," Salas muttered to himself, his expression a mix of seriousness and awe as he watched Lin Yongming leave the main hall.

It seemed that Bishop Salas had bought Lin Yongming's explanation that Spirit Hall had provided him with resources for cultivation. Otherwise, Salas knew how incredibly difficult it would be for an eleven-year-old to reach the Soul Ancestor level.

"Should I write a report to the Pope about his situation?" Salas wondered aloud.

"Never mind. The Pope probably knows more about him than I do. I'll just make sure nothing happens to him in Heaven Dou City," Salas concluded, shaking his head.

If Lin Yongming could see the assumptions Salas was making, he might have quipped, "You're quite the overthinker!"

At the entrance, Lin Yongming turned to Shi Liang and said, "Thank you for today. You can stop here."

"Of course, sir. Take care," Shi Liang replied humbly.

Lin Yongming nodded and left Spirit Hall.

"Xiao Ming, you're finally out!" The Blue Silver Emperor greeted him as she approached.

"Ah Yin, have you been waiting long? Let's go eat!" Lin Yongming said, taking her hand.

"Not too long. It was much faster than the first time we met," the Blue Silver Emperor replied with a smile.

"You still remember that?" Lin Yongming said, surprised.

"Of course. My legs were completely numb back then," the Blue Silver Emperor recalled.

"Well, it was my first time registering as a spirit master. It took a while. But now, things are much smoother."

The two chatted as they walked back to their rented hotel. By around 6:30 PM, they had dinner at a nearby restaurant.

After dinner, they returned to the hotel. While Lin Yongming was taking a shower, the Blue Silver Emperor studied a map.

"Xiao Ming, you're done. Come here, I need to tell you something," the Blue Silver Emperor called out as Lin Yongming stepped out of the bathroom.

"Ah Yin, what is it?" Lin Yongming asked, sitting down beside her.

"I've been looking at this map. Remember how we wanted to buy a storage device for the immortal herbs? I noticed a place marked on the map called the Treasure Pavilion Auction House. Since it's marked, it must be the largest auction house in Heaven Dou City," the Blue Silver Emperor explained.

"So, we'll go check it out tomorrow? Is it far?" Lin Yongming asked.

"Not far. It's in the southern district of Heaven Dou City, close to the Great Spirit Arena," the Blue Silver Emperor replied.

"That's perfect. We can visit the auction house during the day to see if they have a spatial storage device that can hold living things. Then, in the evening, we can check out the Great Spirit Arena and see if the fighters here are stronger than those in Suotuo City," Lin Yongming suggested.

"Exactly what I was thinking. The Great Spirit Arena is livelier at night, so we'll have the day to explore the auction house. If they have what we need, that'd be great. I just wonder how much it'll cost," the Blue Silver Emperor agreed.

"Ordinary spatial storage devices with small capacities cost at least a thousand gold soul coins. Larger ones can go up to tens of thousands. As for one that can hold living things, it'll probably cost at least twenty thousand, maybe more. We'll have to see at the auction," Lin Yongming speculated.

"Don't worry about the money. For spirit masters like us, earning money isn't too difficult," the Blue Silver Emperor said confidently.

"Alright, let's not overthink it. I'm going to take a shower now," the Blue Silver Emperor said, standing up.

"Sure, go ahead," Lin Yongming replied.

By the time the Blue Silver Emperor finished her shower, it was already past 9 PM. She came out wearing a new set of pajamas.

"Ah Yin, you smell amazing. The fragrance of the Lovey-Dovey Heartbroken Red is so unique," Lin Yongming said, taking a deep breath.

"Oh? Suddenly calling me 'sister'? What are you up to?" the Blue Silver Emperor teased, rolling her eyes even though Lin Yongming couldn't see it.

"Ah Yin, we've been in the Sunset Forest for so long, and you haven't had a proper bath. It must've been hard for you," Lin Yongming said gently, stepping closer.

"Hmph! At least you understand. But don't get any ideas," the Blue Silver Emperor said, swatting away Lin Yongming's hand as he reached out.

"I wasn't going to do anything. I just wanted to hug you. It's all Dugu Bo's fault for ruining our alone time," Lin Yongming said with a grin.

"Having him around isn't so bad. Otherwise, you'd always be trying to push your luck. So, serves you right," the Blue Silver Emperor retorted with a smirk.

She then walked out to the balcony to enjoy the night breeze and the vibrant city lights under the starry sky. "It's so beautiful!"

"How am I supposed to see it?" Lin Yongming said, joining her.

"Maybe it's better that you can't. You might get distracted by all the colorful lights," the Blue Silver Emperor joked.

"Ugh, that's so mean. I'm hurt. I need a hug from Ah Yin to feel better," Lin Yongming said shamelessly.

"Ew, that's so cheesy!" the Blue Silver Emperor said, rolling her eyes again.

This time, however, she didn't stop Lin Yongming from wrapping his arms around her waist. She leaned back against his chest as they quietly enjoyed the night view.

After a while, a strong breeze swept past them, brushing against their faces.

"Alright, Xiao Ming, it's getting late. We should head back inside and get some sleep," the Blue Silver Emperor said.

"Okay."

They closed the balcony curtains and returned to the living room.

"Goodnight, Ah Yin," Lin Yongming said.

"Goodnight, Xiao Ming," the Blue Silver Emperor replied. They then went to their respective rooms.

As soon as Lin Yongming lay down, he heard the Blue Silver Emperor's delighted voice from the next room.

"Wow! This bed is so soft. It's been so long since I've slept in such a comfortable bed!" The Blue Silver Emperor jumped onto the bed, bouncing slightly.

Lin Yongming couldn't help but smile. He lay down on his own clean, white bed and soon drifted off to sleep.

The next morning, the two of them slept in until nearly 10 AM, a rare occurrence.

"Ah Yin, good morning! Did you sleep well?" Lin Yongming asked, stretching.

"I slept great. Much better than in the cave, with no bugs and a hard bed," the Blue Silver Emperor replied, clearly satisfied.

"Seems like the 33 gold soul coins per night were worth it," Lin Yongming said, feeling refreshed.

There's nothing more uplifting than waking up naturally, and both of them looked full of energy.

"We got up late today. Let's hurry and get ready. We still need to visit the auction house," the Blue Silver Emperor reminded him.

"Right!"

The two quickly got dressed in the new clothes they had bought the day before and left the room.

"Front desk, we're staying in room 306. We'd like to rent it for a month. How about 900 gold soul coins?" Lin Yongming said as they checked out.

"A month? Sure, 900 it is. Thank you for your business," the receptionist said with a smile.

After extending their stay, they grabbed a quick breakfast at a street-side stall and then headed to the Treasure Pavilion Auction House in the southern district.

By around 1 PM, they arrived at the auction house. It was an ancient-looking castle with the words "Treasure Pavilion" prominently displayed above the entrance.

Two attendants stood at the door, and a small counter with another attendant was set up to the left.

"Excuse me, guests. To enter and view the items, each person must pay ten gold soul coins. This is the rule of our Treasure Pavilion," the attendant explained with a polite smile.

"Ten gold soul coins just to enter?" the Blue Silver Emperor exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes, that's correct. Whether you purchase anything or not, the fee is required. We appreciate your understanding," the attendant said professionally.

"Alright," Lin Yongming said, handing over twenty gold soul coins.

"Welcome! Here are your passes. Please keep them with you at all times while inside to prevent unauthorized entry," the attendant said, handing them two passes.

"Please, come in," the attendant said, gesturing inside.

"Thank you," Lin Yongming said, leading the Blue Silver Emperor inside.

The front courtyard of the Treasure Pavilion was paved with white marble, with a fountain at its center. The pathways were lined with flowers and plants.

"This auction house is so luxurious! It's even more upscale than our hotel," the Blue Silver Emperor remarked as she admired the courtyard.

"Considering they charge ten gold soul coins just for entry, it's no surprise they're wealthy. Operating in Heaven Dou City must be incredibly profitable," Lin Yongming said.

"Let's go inside and see if they have what we're looking for," the Blue Silver Emperor said, linking her arm with Lin Yongming's.

At the entrance to the main hall stood four guards. Lin Yongming and the Blue Silver Emperor could sense the spirit power emanating from them—they were clearly spirit masters.

However, with their passes in hand, the guards didn't stop them.

Inside, the hall was vast, with various items displayed under glass cases. Guards were stationed at regular intervals throughout the hall.

"There are so many items! Swords, armor, gemstones... Xiao Ming, how are we supposed to find what we're looking for?" the Blue Silver Emperor said, feeling overwhelmed.

"With so many items, there must be a catalog or a manager we can ask," Lin Yongming suggested.

"Hello, you two. First time here? You seem a bit lost," a woman in her thirties approached them. She wore a high-slit qipao that revealed one of her legs, exuding an air of elegance and charm.

Lin Yongming and the Blue Silver Emperor turned to look at her.

"Hello, I'm Cai Qi, the manager here. What are you looking for? Or do you have any specific needs? We also sell information here," the woman introduced herself with a charming smile.

"Information? What kind of information?" Lin Yongming asked, intrigued.

"For example, locations where rare ores have been found, or where rare spirit beasts have appeared," Cai Qi explained.

"Oh? Then, have you heard of the Extreme Sea Thunder Domain? Do you know where it is?" Lin Yongming asked casually.

"Extreme Sea Thunder Domain? I'm sorry, I've never heard of it," Cai Qi replied, looking slightly embarrassed. "But judging by the name, it's probably somewhere in the ocean."

Lin Yongming didn't press further. He already knew the Extreme Sea Thunder Domain was located in the ocean. However, given that the ocean likely covered 90% of the Douluo Continent's surface, finding it would be like searching for a needle in a haystack.

"Xiao Ming, stop asking random questions," the Blue Silver Emperor said, exasperated.

"Miss, we're looking for a spatial storage device that can hold living things," the Blue Silver Emperor said to Cai Qi.

"A storage device that can hold living things? That rings a bell. Let me check the catalog," Cai Qi said, flipping through a notebook.

"Ah, here it is. It's called the Ruyi Hundred Treasure Pouch. It can store pets and keep them alive for up to a month. For plants, it preserves their freshness and fragrance, even after a month. Is this what you're looking for?" Cai Qi asked after finding the item in the catalog.

"Yes, that's it! How much space does it have, and what's the price?" Lin Yongming asked.

"It has a capacity of ten cubic meters. The starting price is ten thousand gold soul coins, with no upper limit. This item is up for auction."

"Ten cubic meters is quite small for a spatial storage device. A regular one with that capacity would only cost around a thousand gold soul coins. But the Ruyi Hundred Treasure Pouch's ability to store living things is a lost technology, making it extremely rare. I can guarantee that in all of Heaven Dou City, fewer than ten people own something like this. Meanwhile, regular spatial storage devices are common among spirit masters."

"Also, this item isn't owned by the Treasure Pavilion. It's being auctioned on behalf of a client," Cai Qi explained.

"How often do you hold auctions?" Lin Yongming asked.

"We hold three auctions a month. The next one is in eight days, at the end of the month. This item will be auctioned then," Cai Qi replied.

"Miss, can you give us an estimate of how much this Ruyi Hundred Treasure Pouch might sell for?" the Blue Silver Emperor asked, getting to the heart of the matter.

"It seems you really need this," Cai Qi said with a smile, looking at the Blue Silver Emperor. "Well, for someone who doesn't need it, spending so much on a ten-cubic-meter storage device might not make sense when they could buy a regular one with twenty or thirty cubic meters for less."

"So, I can't give you an exact figure. If I were buying it, I'd probably stop bidding at thirty thousand gold soul coins. My estimate is that it won't go beyond fifty thousand. But this is just my personal opinion based on years of experience. The actual price will depend on the auction."

"Who knows? It might not even sell for ten thousand. Auctions are unpredictable. The last time we auctioned something similar, it was a thirty-cubic-meter version that sold for sixty thousand gold soul coins."

"Thank you for the information. We'll keep it in mind," Lin Yongming said.
