Dragon Ball: Life Simulator

Chapter 12: Chapter 12

In other words, both potential and strength are preordained by fate.

Just like how they firmly believed that lower-class warriors could never surpass upper-class warriors.

In terms of martial arts, many races in the universe are savages, not even close to Earth's level.

Yet, in terms of power, the various races of the universe are far ahead.

On the morning of May 26, 20 elite warriors arrived early at the cave. Without needing Saigo to take the lead, they instinctively began training.

They had all glimpsed the hope of growing stronger, and their enthusiasm for training had reached unprecedented heights. It was as if they were trying to make up for all the wasted time in the first half of their lives.

Little did they know, the speed at which they believed they were improving was far too slow in Saigo's eyes.

With only a few hundred points of power level gained each day, it would take forever to produce a Super Saiyan.

So, after finishing his meal and completing his simulation training, Saigo called over Vegeta III.

"Captain Vegeta, do we have any scientists of our own?"

"Only two!" Vegeta III replied, raising two fingers. "King Saigo, is there something you need from a scientist?"

"Are they reliable?" Saigo didn't answer his question but instead asked seriously.

Straightening his posture, Vegeta III assured, "Absolutely reliable!"

"Good. Have them secretly develop a gravity chamber with as high a multiplier as possible. The size should accommodate 20 to 30 people training inside. The sooner it's completed, the better!" Saigo instructed.

"Understood! I'll handle it right away!"

Although curious as to why a gravity chamber was needed, Vegeta III refrained from asking.

After adapting to his role over these past days, he had learned how to fulfill his duties as a subordinate.

If it's not his place to ask, he won't ask—just execute orders.

As Vegeta III left, the others remained entirely focused on their training, paying no attention.

They knew time was of the essence; no one could predict when Frieza might attack Planet Vegeta.

Moreover, they had heard from Saigo just how terrifying Frieza's true combat strength was.

With their current power levels, should Frieza's army arrive, death would be inevitable.

As a result, they trained relentlessly, pushing themselves to the brink to achieve gains of several hundred power levels per day.

After giving his orders, Saigo turned back to join the training group.

Training was both painful and enjoyable.

With 20 men and one woman training together, the testosterone in the air was palpable.

Especially considering these men were Saiyans.

As they trained, the men roared wildly, their Saiyan instincts on full display.

Yet Celiba ignored everyone else, her eyes fixed solely on Bardock, leaving the other mature men howling in frustration.

Bardock, however, was entirely focused on increasing his power, oblivious to Celiba's affections.

Saigo had made it clear that he supported relationships formed willingly between individuals.

Having families created bonds between people, fostering concerns and responsibilities that led to deeper consideration in their actions.

Family connections also encouraged emotional warmth and peace of mind, conducive to the growth of S cells in the body—a necessary condition for transforming into a Super Saiyan.

Everyone etched Saigo's teachings into their hearts and made efforts to change.

Eventually, Bardock and Celiba came together, though it didn't interfere with their training. They simply acknowledged each other as partners.

Bardock even introduced Celiba to Gine, who approved of their union, saying it was about time.

That evening.

Saigo finally couldn't resist using his secret technique—Potential Guidance—on himself.

Placing his hand on his head, he activated the technique.

The next moment—

Boom!

A torrent of powerful energy surged explosively from within him.

Realizing something was wrong, Saigo's face changed. "This is bad!" he muttered to himself.

He hurriedly tried to suppress the skyrocketing energy, but the flow of ki from his body continued unabated.

Nearby, the scouter on the stone table beeped incessantly, its numbers rapidly climbing:

Beep! Beep! Beep! 1500… 2000… 2500… 3000…

Fortunately, the Potential Guidance technique didn't take long. Within five breaths, it was complete!

The scouter's numbers settled at—

Feeling the ki within him stabilize, Saigo quickly focused on suppressing it further.

Beep! Beep!

…5000… 4500… 4000… 3500… 2000… 1000!

Seeing the scouter finally display a manageable number, Saigo sighed in relief.

Thankfully, his mastery of ki control was advanced enough to manage the situation. Otherwise, his power spike would have been exposed!

However, the next moment, Saigo sensed 20 familiar ki signatures rapidly approaching. With a wry smile, he muttered, "Looks like I've alarmed them. Better explain at the cave entrance."

He disappeared from the spot in a flash.

While en route, the simulation system's voice echoed in his mind:

Ding~ Congratulations! Your power level has surpassed one million. Simulation time +1 month. Total simulation time now 4 months. The simulation system's time limit has been reached. Further power increases will not add more simulation time.

What?

The simulation time limit has been reached?

Could this be related to picking up the Four-Star Dragon Ball before crossing over?

He vaguely remembered falling at that moment but recalled nothing afterward.

Shaking off the thought, Saigo refocused and sped toward the cave entrance.

Upon reaching the entrance, he found Vegeta III, Bardock, and the others already there, suppressing their ki to match their pre-training levels.

"Go back! I was just testing a technique. Nothing else happened!" Saigo explained as they arrived.

He then turned and returned to the base, leaving the 20 elite warriors looking at each other in confusion before heading back as well.

The next day.

At dawn, Saigo began his daily simulation.

May 27: After arranging everything, you obtained the coordinates of Namek and Yardrat. Boarding a spherical spaceship, you set off for Namek.

Reading this, Saigo couldn't help but critique himself.

A little power, and I'm off gallivanting on the first day?

How desperate was I to explore?

This imposter is definitely not me!

June 11: You arrived at Namek and were received by the Grand Elder. You expressed your intentions, and the Grand Elder attempted to unlock your potential but failed!

When you tried to use the Dragon Balls, you were informed they had recently been used and had turned to stone…

What?

Even in the simulation, there's a cooldown for using the Dragon Balls?

Noting this new discovery, Saigo continued reading with curiosity.

June 12: You continued attempting to transform into a Super Saiyan but failed again.

June 13: After half a day of failed attempts, you bid farewell to the Grand Elder and set off for Yardrat.
