Dragon Ball Super: Exposed! I'm a super saiyan

Chapter 39: CHAPTER 39

c39: Change the Order! Super Blue Appears

"I… is this really me?" Cabba looked down at his glowing golden aura in disbelief, his spiked blonde hair swaying gently with the raw power emanating from his body.

Vegeta answered coolly, arms crossed. "The foundation of becoming a Super Saiyan is emotion more specifically, rage. When your anger peaks, it tears down your limits. That's when your dormant Saiyan potential bursts out. Transformation isn't magic, it's instinct triggered by fury."

Hearing this, Cabba suddenly understood. "So just now… when you said all those things… you were trying to make me angry?"

Vegeta scoffed, his signature arrogance returning. "What if I was?"

Cabba exhaled in relief. The realization gave him clarity and purpose. But before he could say anything else, a flicker ran through his aura and his Super Saiyan transformation suddenly vanished.

"W-What?!" Cabba gasped. "I didn't mean to power down…"

Vegeta's tone stayed calm, instructive. "Do it again. Now."

Cabba nodded and closed his eyes, inhaling slowly. He visualized his anger, the feeling of helplessness, the burning desire to protect his world. Then he snapped his eyes open.

BOOM!!

A golden shockwave exploded outward as Cabba once again transformed into a Super Saiyan. Lightning crackled around him, and the ground beneath his feet cracked under the sudden pressure.

Golden energy surged through his body. "I did it… I really did it again!"

Vegeta smirked, nodding slightly in approval.

"Thank you, Master Vegeta!" Cabba said, bowing deeply in gratitude.

Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "Don't get ahead of yourself. Being my student isn't that simple."

"I understand!" Cabba grinned. "I'll train harder! I'll prove I'm worthy of your guidance!"

"Hmph. That's for the future. For now…" Vegeta stepped forward, cracking his neck. "It's time to end this."

Cabba raised his eyebrows playfully. "You might find it harder to beat me now, Master."

Vegeta gave a sharp laugh. "You still underestimate me, boy."

Then with a deep breath, Vegeta clenched his fists and summoned a much higher power. In a brilliant flash, his aura changed dramatically the golden light of Super Saiyan was instantly replaced by a deep, shimmering blue. His hair turned sleek and vibrant azure, and his ki flared with divine energy.

Super Saiyan Blue.

"Huh?!" Cabba's eyes widened in awe.

"What?!" The Universe 6 audience collectively gasped in disbelief.

"What is this transformation?" Champa shouted, springing to his feet. "Why does this guy have a god-like aura?!"

Vados looked intrigued. "It seems Universe 7's Saiyans have access to divine energy. This transformation… it's a fusion of Super Saiyan power with the essence of Super Saiyan God."

"Tch!" Champa scowled. "This has Beerus written all over it! He must've taught them special techniques!"

Vados smiled sweetly, but her tone was sharp. "Lord Champa, perhaps instead of blaming Lord Beerus, you should reflect on how little attention you've paid to nurturing your own warriors. Between gorging on food and bickering with your brother, you've neglected your universe."

"Geh…" Champa choked on his words, sweat dripping from his brow. It was hard to argue because she was right.

He scratched his head awkwardly. When it came to Universe 6's development, his default strategy had always been… destruction.

Meanwhile, Vados floated above the ring with a smirk. "Still, these Saiyans from Universe 7 are quite something. This blue transformation has increased their combat power many times over."

Champa grumbled but stayed quiet this time.

In the spectator stands, someone else took notice.

Hit, Universe 6's deadliest assassin, who had remained silent until now, finally opened his eyes. A faint flicker of interest passed across his usually expressionless face. He studied Vegeta's blue form silently then shifted his gaze.

Straight to Goku.

Their eyes locked. From across the arena, neither of them moved but the sparks between them were obvious.

A quiet intensity filled the air. Goku narrowed his eyes, a small smirk tugging at his lips. It was clear: a clash between them was inevitable.

But just as Hit began to look away, something stopped him.

His gaze snapped to Luya sitting silently in Universe 7's ranks. There was something different about him. Something… unordinary. Hit's keen instinct sensed it a subtle ripple in space around Luya. It wasn't ki. It was something else.

Hit's brow lowered slightly in curiosity. In a tournament full of warriors, strategy, and divine powers Luya's presence stood out.

And Hit never overlooked a potential threat.

Luya calmly met Hit's gaze. His expression remained stoic, unreadable, devoid of emotion but behind his silence was a clear awareness.

Hit, however, narrowed his eyes slightly. Though Luya's energy wasn't as forceful as Son Goku's, there was something off , a subtle disturbance in space around him, something foreign. His instincts as an assassin twitched.

This guy... he thought, not strong in power, but unusual in presence.

Universe 7 is full of surprises, Hit mused quietly.

"Hey, Luya!" Goku suddenly called out, his gaze still locked onto Hit's.

"Huh?" Luya turned, his voice low, calm.

Goku turned to him fully now, flashing his usual grin. "Mind if I go next?"

Luya blinked, taken aback. Even Beerus, Whis, and the rest of the Universe 7 team looked up in surprise.

"W-What do you mean, Goku?" Krillin asked, clearly confused. "Vegeta's up now. You want to skip the turn order?"

Goku kept his eyes on Hit, his voice firm. "I want to fight him — Hit."

That single statement left everyone stunned.

Vegeta was already dominating the match. On paper, there was no need for Goku to step in. So why?

Whis chuckled knowingly. Beerus gave a smirk and leaned on his palm, interested.

Piccolo narrowed his eyes. "Goku… Are you saying Vegeta can't beat Hit?"

Goku nodded slowly. "That guy... he's dangerous. So dangerous, he's making my body instinctively tremble."

That statement left everyone speechless.

Son Goku, who had faced Freeza, Cell, Majin Buu, even gods now openly admitted that someone made him tremble.

Even during the Cell Games, Goku had never said anything like this. But now, facing Hit, the Universe 6 assassin, there was a visible tension in his stance one that came from genuine instinct.

Piccolo's face turned even greener, which seemed almost impossible.

Luya, however, didn't flinch. He studied Goku for a moment before replying, "You might not win."

Goku blinked, then broke into a wide grin. "Yeah, I figured that. But it'd be a waste to not test myself against someone like that."

Everyone exhaled. That was classic Goku.

The same Goku who challenged gods for fun. The same Goku who once chose to fight Majin Buu alone. He was always chasing the thrill of battle especially when a worthy opponent appeared.

After a pause, Goku leaned in and asked Luya in a low voice, "If I use that move... do I stand a chance?"

Luya's eyes narrowed, then he nodded slightly. "You might. But if you push it too far… the damage to your body will be extreme. You still haven't mastered it. Hit, on the other hand, is already in full control of his technique."

Goku nodded seriously. "I know. But this is worth the risk. Let me go next."

Luya fell silent, but inside he understood: Goku, with access to Super Saiyan Blue, and combining it with the Kaiōken, might actually be the only one in Universe 7 with the chance to match Hit's Time-Skip technique.

As for Luya himself despite knowing Hit's abilities and patterns he couldn't act. His own power hadn't reached the necessary threshold to challenge someone like Hit yet.

But Goku…

He had already touched divine power.

In the ring, Vegeta fully transformed into Super Saiyan Blue turned to Cabba with a cool, commanding tone.

"This is the evolved form of Super Saiyan… the result of mastering godly ki. It's called Super Saiyan Blue."

The sheer energy radiating from Vegeta was staggering. Cabba was visibly shaking under the pressure, cold sweat running down his face.

"S-So powerful…" he muttered in awe.

He could feel it the sheer magnitude of Vegeta's energy. There was no comparing it to his own transformation. Super Saiyan Blue was something else entirely. Something divine.

They've advanced this far already...?! Cabba thought in amazement. His respect for Vegeta and the warriors of Universe 7 only deepened.
