"Gohan Kun! Trunks! Wait for me!"

With her breath quick and uneven, Videl finally caught up, appearing before the three of them.

"Sorry, Videl," Son Gohan said with an apologetic smile, "We ran into a bit of a situation."

He quickly explained everything that had happened. When she heard that Vegeta was trapped inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Videl instinctively turned to Trunks, her expression softening.

"Oh… Trunks, I'm really sorry to hear that. Try not to--"

Trunks raised an eyebrow and cut her off with calm assurance. "Don't worry, Videl. My dad will come out."

His confident tone made everyone pause. He'd said it before, more than once, and each time, he sounded absolutely certain that Vegeta would return. The silence was broken by Mr. Popo, the ever-serious guardian of the Lookout, who knew the inner workings of the Time Chamber better than anyone.

"When the door to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber vanishes, the person inside becomes trapped, permanently," He said gravely. "However, there is one other way to escape. If someone's power reaches a certain level… they can tear through the space-time barrier and break out."

Everyone's eyes widened. Mr. Popo's words sparked hope in the air.

"So if Vegeta Ojisan can force his way through with sheer power… he might be able to escape!" Gohan murmured, his gaze growing distant.

Since last night until now, nearly half a day has passed out here… That's six months inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. If Vegeta hasn't come out yet, it means his current power isn't strong enough to break through that barrier…

So then, why is Trunks so sure he'll make it out?

"Let's go, Gohan, Videl," Trunks said calmly. "We can still train out here. You can teach Videl the Sky Hovering Art."

His tone was light, almost casual. There wasn't the slightest trace of worry in his voice.

From Trunks' perspective, his father had already reached the pinnacle of Super Saiyan 2. Once inside the Time Chamber, the breakthrough to Super Saiyan 3 was just a matter of time. In the original timeline, Gotenks had transformed into Super Saiyan 3 and shattered the dimensional barrier to escape the chamber.

If he could do it, Vegeta certainly could too.

He was Vegeta, Prince of all Saiyans.

Seeing that Gohan and Videl were still standing there, unsure, Trunks gave Gohan a light push from behind.

"Come on, Gohan. What are you spacing out for?"

Elsewhere, in the depths of space…

In the vast silence of the universe, a tiny light streaked through the void. A spaceship, small but fast, hurtled toward Earth at near-light speed, slicing through the darkness.

Inside, a lone figure lay in suspended animation.

But his slumber was uneasy. His brows furrowed, muscles twitching… until suddenly, his eyes snapped open.

The first thing he noticed was the stench of blood. His sharp eyes darted to the corner, where a fresh corpse lay slumped against the wall.

It hadn't been dead long.

"Hmph… pathetic," The man muttered.

He glanced down at the corpse, and the next moment, to no one's horror but his own, he bent down and began devouring it raw.

His ship continued closing in on Earth.

Back on the Lookout…

Videl had her eyes shut tight, concentrating with all her might as she tried to guide her Ki.

Under Gohan's patient instruction, she had finally reached the threshold of the Sky Hovering Art. But in less than a second, the energy in her palm flickered out, and her knees gave way as her body went limp.

"I didn't expect Videl to pick it up so quickly, guess martial artists really do learn faster!" Son Gohan said, giving her a cheerful thumbs-up.

Hearing Gohan's praise, Videl lit up with excitement. "So… does that mean I can fly now?"

"Not quite yet," Trunks replied, his voice relaxed as he soared smoothly through the air above her, occasionally circling around. "This is just the first step. Once you get the hang of controlling your Ki properly, then you'll be able to fly."

Videl looked up at him, her eyes filled with both admiration and envy as he glided effortlessly through the sky. Suddenly, a familiar voice echoed in both Gohan and Trunks' minds, cutting through the peaceful training and instantly shifting Trunks' expression to something more serious.

{Gohan! We've got a major problem!!}

"Kaiō Sama?!" Gohan and Trunks said at the same time, startled.

{The one who killed South Kaiō seven years ago… he's entered the North Area!}

Both Gohan and Trunks immediately stiffened upon hearing that. That incident had led to the release of Bojack, this wasn't someone to take lightly.

{Your father and I have been watching him for years. He was hiding in the West Area, but for some unknown reason, he disappeared… And now, after all this time, he's reappeared, headed straight for Earth!}

The urgency in the elderly deity's voice made their expressions tighten further.

{Please, Gohan, Trunks… This being is unbelievably powerful! Even Goku wanted Baba to bring him back to Earth for a day just to face him!}

Gohan flinched. "Even Dad thinks he's dangerous? That serious?!"

(Who could be so terrifying that even Goku Ojisan, would be that concerned?) Trunks thought, narrowing his eyes.

{Yes! Goku wants to return, but something urgent came up in the Other World. He and Piccolo are dealing with it right now. That means Earth's defense is up to you two for now. Once Goku wraps things up over there, he'll head your way.}

{Oh, right, where's Vegeta?}

Gohan hesitated. "…Kaiō Sama, Vegeta Ojisan's still trapped in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. He might not make it out in time."

There was a pause. Then came the sound of Kaiō's frustration, he was clearly stomping around in anger.

{Darn it! Of all the times to be unavailable!}

At that moment, Trunks suddenly halted in mid-air, his gaze snapping upward. Son Gohan also went rigid, his eyes locked onto the distant horizon.

"Gohan. You feel that too?"

Gohan nodded, his voice tense. "Yeah… an unbelievably violent Ki just hit Earth's atmosphere."

"Kaiō-sama, we can't wait any longer!" Gohan said quickly. "Trunks and I are heading out now!"

With that, they cut the telepathic connection and immediately turned to Videl.

"Sorry, Videl. Trunks and I have something urgent to handle. Please stay here, it's too dangerous to follow."

Videl saw the seriousness in Gohan's eyes and nodded firmly. She didn't know what was going on, but she understood enough to know this wasn't the time to get in the way. With a flash of light, Trunks and Gohan took off like twin comets, streaking toward the massive energy signature.

They didn't waste a second. During their conversation with Kaiō, the enemy had already landed on Earth.

Seconds later, they arrived in a barren, rocky landscape.

In the distance, a spaceship sat silently And standing before it, bare-chested, tall, and impossibly muscular, was a man both familiar and impossible.

Trunks' eyes narrowed. He knew that face anywhere.

It was Broly.

The old version. The original Broly.

But what shocked Trunks even more… was the dark, ominous "M" glowing on Broly's forehead.
