Dragon King Palace: Urban Affluent Son-in-Law

Chapter 173: Brother Hao from the Past!

"Hahahaha, Brother Hao is here! Kid, let's see how you escape this time!!" Da Xia, who had been cornered, suddenly burst into triumphant laughter. Even he couldn't believe how quickly the tables had turned. With Brother Hao's arrival, he felt reassured!

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Brother Hao strode like a tiger towards the booth area, accompanied by several genuine members of the underground syndicate. The crowd's gaze towards him was filled with fear.

Because unlike Da Xia, who was merely a minor leader watching over the White Horse Club, Brother Hao was one of the trusted confidants of Guo Xiaolin, practically the club's controlling figure.

The whole Su City, both the underworld and the official paths, knew that although Brother Hao hadn't been with Guo Xiaolin's Black Gold Empire for long, his fearlessness and ability to fight quickly made him a prominent figure. Now deeply trusted by Guo Xiaolin, he was the hottest star in the entire Su City's underworld, known by all, feared by all!

Many people secretly felt pity for Jiang Feng; even a strong outsider couldn't overpower a local bully. Causing such a commotion at the White Horse Club, it's unlikely that Brother Hao would let him go easily!

Of course, there were also those who were gleefully waiting to see Brother Hao crush Jiang Feng to bits. No matter how strong Jiang Feng was, he couldn't possibly contend with Brother Hao, especially with Guo Xiaolin backing him!

"Brother Hao, avenge me! This kid barged into our place causing trouble, beat up our brothers, and crippled me. You must get justice for me!!" As Brother Hao approached, Da Xia wailed mournfully, raising his voice to be the first accuser.

"This is trouble, it's Ah Hao!" Kong Xiang also felt the weight of the situation growing beyond his control. Had he known it would turn out like this, he would've preferred to handle it with official authority from the start.

Brother Hao arrived, glanced at the pitiful Da Xia, his face darkening, then turned to Jiang Feng, his anger evident as he coldly said, "You..."

Just starting with "You", he suddenly halted, his mouth gradually dropped open, visibly at a loss!

Hmm?

The massive disco, with hundreds of people, was waiting to see Brother Hao explode in anger, but seeing him suddenly go silent stunned everyone, leaving them bewildered.

Brother Hao scrutinized Jiang Feng closely, then quickly approached him, his previous expression of rage vanished, replaced by overwhelming flattery and cordiality: "Young Master Jiang, hello, what brings you to Su City? We're meeting again!"

Wow!!!

The entire disco, and even the White Horse Club, fell into an eerie silence.

Young Master Jiang?!

The highly acclaimed Brother Hao, actually referred to that obscure outsider as "Young Master"?

Witnessing this scene, not only were the hundreds of onlookers dumbfounded, but even Situ Yan and Kong Xiang stood aghast!

"Ah Hao actually called him Young Master Jiang??? What is going on?" Kong Xiang felt his mind was spinning. Jiang Feng kept delivering one "surprise" after another, leaving him somewhat dazed.

Jiang Feng furrowed his eyebrows, looking at Brother Hao with some confusion.

"You don't recognize me, do you? I'm Ah Hao..." Brother Hao bitterly smiled, quickly removing his sunglasses to reveal a familiar face.

Jiang Feng recognized him. This was the guy Jian Hongsheng had sent to deal with him, only to be scared off by Jiang Feng's intimidation. Who would've thought he'd end up in Su City and make a name for himself?

In fact, after being terrified by Jiang Feng's startling, awe-inspiring methods that fateful night, Ah Hao chose to betray Jian Hongsheng, moving south with a few brothers to seek their fortune, which indeed turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

With his abilities and talents, he would thrive anywhere, and Guo Xiaolin was just another talent scout for him.

Even after leaving Jiangdong, Binhai, Ah Hao always kept an eye on the happenings there, because the impression Jiang Feng left on him was so profound. He wanted to know more about this person!

Upon hearing that it hadn't taken long for Jian Hongsheng to meet his demise, leading to the collapse of the massive Jian Group, he knew for sure it was Jiang Feng's doing!

Later, through some contacts in Binhai, he heard about other shocking events involving Jiang Feng, like making a bunch of bigwigs apologize one by one at the Beach Bathing Place, forcing Zhou Rongfa and Pan Haoting to bow down, and the scarcely known fact of eliminating twenty of Mr. Scar's men alone...

All these tales were like legends for Ah Hao. Jiang Feng had ascended in his eyes from a mortal to someone godly or demonic, and he was infinitely grateful that he didn't go head-to-head with Jiang Feng then, or else he would've long been beneath a tombstone with grass three feet high!

Ah Hao had vowed to himself that, if he could help it, he would never want to meet Jiang Feng again in his lifetime!

Yet, fate had other plans, as he encountered him today in the club. It was as if heaven was playing tricks on him, but since the meeting was inevitable, avoiding it was not an option. He had no choice but to approach Jiang Feng with goodwill, as thoughts of accusing him were out of the question — he wasn't tired of living yet.

"Young Master Jiang, can you tell me what happened here? There's no need for such drama. If I had known, I would've taken care of it with a phone call, saving you the hassle." Ah Hao practically prostrated himself, offering a sycophant smile to Jiang Feng.

Da Xia was bewildered. Was this still the Brother Hao he knew, ruthless and unflinching when wielding a blade? This felt like an ancient eunuch meeting his master!

Jiang Feng knew Ah Hao was just making conversation. Who would know his phone number, and he himself didn't even know Ah Hao had come to Su City.

"This guy called Da Xia is quite interesting. I came to ask him some questions, but not only did he refuse, he also tried to get physical with me. I was just teaching him a lesson in manners," Jiang Feng said calmly.

"What?!" Upon hearing this, Ah Hao pretended to be enraged, turned, and glared at Da Xia: "You fool, how dare you offend Young Master Jiang? Are you tired of living? Hurry and apologize to Young Master Jiang. If you want to die, don't drag me and Master Guo down with you!"

Da Xia was completely flabbergasted, and so were all the onlookers. Was the situation exaggerated like this? Endangering even him and Guo Xiaolin? Was this Jiang-named young man that terrifying?

"Brother Hao, I..."

"You're not coming over, are you? Damn it, bring him to me!" Ah Hao commanded to several underlings beside him.

Those underlings, though a bit confused, still followed orders, smashing the tea table Da Xia was pinned to and dragging him over to Jiang Feng and Ah Hao despite his howls.

"Kneel!" Ah Hao coldly ordered Da Xia.

"Brother Hao, what's really going on?" Da Xia was in sheer agony, having lost a lot of blood, his face pale.

"Didn't you hear me tell you to kneel? Daring to offend Young Master Jiang, are you tired of living?!" Ah Hao personally kicked Da Xia in the kneecap, causing him to instantly drop to his knees with a 'thud' before Jiang Feng!

Only then did Da Xia realize he had truly kicked a steel board this time, kneeling there pale-faced, with a bitter smile.
