The Unique Advantage of Each Race

Throughout the galaxy, each race possessed its own unique advantages. Among these races, the Yardratians had long held the advantage of acquiring superpowers through their training and qualifications. However, it seemed that this advantage was about to be challenged.

In an unexpected twist of fate, Raditz's talent appeared to surpass that of most Yardratians.

Master Rep found himself entertaining an audacious thought - could Raditz break through the boundaries and master more than two skills?

"The Saiyan's mental strength is impressive, but I've noticed some irregularities. Your body seems to possess a violent temperament that doesn't align with your soul. This incongruity is preventing you from maximizing your potential. If you can temper this inner violence, you'll ascend to even greater heights," Rep observed, sharing his insights with Raditz.

Raditz listened intently, recognizing the truth in Rep's words. If he could harmonize his body and soul, he knew he could achieve unparalleled power.

"Fear not, I shall assist you in overcoming this challenge. Once you've completed this phase of training, I will teach you not only the art of instant transmission but also additional skills," Rep promised.

"Additional skills?" Raditz inquired.

"Yes," Rep replied, "one of them is 'Thought Manipulation.' With this ability, you can control objects and even alter their material structure. It allows you to immobilize both the spirit and the body of a living being. Given your impressive potential, you can master nearly anything, except time and space."

Rep shared some of the skills he hadn't mastered himself. In his eyes, Raditz was the key to addressing this deficiency.

"In addition to Thought Manipulation, I can introduce you to other abilities. While I may not possess them all, we have a wealth of ancient texts and inscriptions that can fulfill your learning needs."

Raditz's enthusiasm soared. He couldn't believe he had so many skills to choose from. Rep's guidance ignited his passion for learning.

And so, for an entire month, Raditz rose with the first rays of dawn and rested under the shimmering light of the moon. In addition to his progress in the maze, he dedicated himself to "Overload Meditation."

Overload Meditation, as its name implied, involved meditating in extreme environments. Sometimes, Raditz would find himself in the frigid embrace of icy wastelands, where the cold air bit at his skin and the ground seemed to sap the warmth from his body. Other times, he ventured into the heart of volcanic craters, where sweat evaporated instantly in the intense heat. Occasionally, flames and lava would lash out, scorching the air around him.

At other times, he found himself in a void, enduring long stretches of isolation that tested his patience. He experienced dark and haunting realms filled with phantoms and fears. And sometimes, he faced seductive temptations that would challenge even the most disciplined of minds.

These illusions were all crafted by Rep to test Raditz during his meditation, and they were all too real for Raditz as he delved deep into his inner consciousness. For instance, the void truly felt like a desolate emptiness, and Raditz would often find himself struggling to maintain his sanity. As for the seductive temptations, well, they were intense and testing for a Saiyan like Raditz.

Throughout these trials, Rep kept a strict watch, ensuring that Raditz's focus remained unwavering. If Raditz faltered in his meditation, Rep would promptly rouse him.

Each session left Raditz drenched in sweat, as physically taxing as a grueling battle. Yet, the results were evident. Raditz felt a sense of inner peace and harmony he hadn't known before. The violent tendencies that had once dominated his being were gradually diminishing, and he was becoming more attuned to his own body.

With this newfound balance, he continued his training for another month. Raditz finally conquered the Virtual Forest Maze and moved on to mastering instant transmission. His progress was swift and steady.

In Rep's garden, Raditz focused intently, his eyes locked onto a distant point. Rep watched his disciple's rapid improvement with an indescribable sense of pride.

Who could have imagined that Raditz would conquer the maze in just two months, a feat that was virtually unheard of? The news of his achievement would surely reverberate across Yadat Star. Furthermore, Raditz was simultaneously mastering two secret techniques, a rare accomplishment. Most importantly, he was Rep's disciple.

"At the time, Simo gave me that recommendation. I nearly dismissed it. Looking back now, I nearly missed out on a genius..." Rep's attitude toward Raditz had become increasingly warm, and he smiled every time he saw him.

"I found it!" Raditz suddenly exclaimed.

In an instant, he disappeared with a swish. After approximately two minutes, he reappeared beside Rep, two fish in his hands.

"Excellent! The first task is complete. Now, deliver those fish to the owner of the flower shop in Dongcheng District and bring back two 'Meteor Flowers' as well," Rep immediately assigned the next task.

And so, they trained in instant transmission by delivering packages across planet Yardrat. It was an idea Raditz had proposed, and Rep found it practical. They had even managed to establish contact with several potential clients, making it a mutually beneficial endeavor. Besides honing his mastery of instant transmission, Raditz also recognized the importance of speed in combat. Every millisecond could determine the outcome of a battle.

Raditz's understanding of this truth motivated him to push himself even harder.

...

Beyond the borders of planet Yardrat, a hundred spaceships descended through the atmosphere, led by a colossal disc-shaped vessel with its gold-plated surface gleaming brilliantly in the sunlight.

"We are now entering planet Yardrat atmosphere. The analysis results suggest that our target can be captured. Please inform King Detroit," reported an alien aboard the lead spaceship.

King Detroit gazed down at the planet below, nodding in approval. "Planet Yardrat may appear simple, but it's a developed planet with hidden secrets."

"Indeed, Your Majesty. They possess many mysteries," concurred his subordinate.

"Very well. Once we acquire all the secrets of Yardrat Star, I shall have control over the entire universe! Hahahaha!" King Detroit burst into triumphant laughter, his subordinates joining in the mirth.

"Congratulations, King Detroit!"

"When I rule the universe, I shall reward you handsomely. But for now, let the declaration of war upon Yadat Star commence!" declared King Detroit with a wave of his hand.

And so, the invasion began as hundreds of spaceships descended upon planet Yardrat, casting a shadow of fear and uncertainty over its inhabitants.

"The people of Yardrat Star, hear this! Your planet is now surrounded by King Detroit. Surrender peacefully, and your lives may be spared. Resist, and we will attack!" The booming proclamation echoed across the land, striking fear into the hearts of the Yardratians.
