The planet namek was on the brink of collapse, ravaged by the ongoing fierce battle and the rampant destruction. Meanwhile, a dense jungle in the sky greedily absorbed the planet's essence, nourishing the revived Tree of might.
At the base of the Tree of might, Turles leaned against Slug's massive spacecraft. Two Dragon Balls were clustered around him, accompanied by the lifeless body of a namekian man. Tien Shinhan and Nappa, breathing heavily and bearing scars, faced him on the opposite side.
This was the aftermath of the intense battle that had taken place here just before the confrontation between Frieza, Raditz, and the others.
Turles meticulously planned scheme had finally reached its climax. After discovering that Raditz had secured a Dragon Ball following his clash with Slug, Turles had resolved to escape Slug's watchful eye. However, he hadn't taken the three Dragon Balls from Slug—since the planet Nameks Dragon Balls were too cumbersome to carry. Besides, his ultimate goal was to occupy the Slug Space ship after successfully luring Slug into battle.
Having already stolen five Dragon Balls from the feet of Frieza, Turles was well on his way to assembling the complete set.
With the Frieza Legion's detectors incapacitated and one detector in Jeice's possession, Turles had sensed the faint residual energy of the remaining planet nameks inhabitants. He patiently awaited Frieza's Dragon Ball, poised to seize two more.
Turles had maneuvered to intercept the nameks Dragon Balls, while Tien Shinhan and Nappa stood ready to challenge him. Their combat had been a fierce clash of techniques and strategies.
Turles, empowered by consuming numerous Tree of mights fruits, had significantly bolstered his strength since escaping Earth. However, Tien Shinhan and Nappa had undergone rigorous training in the gravity chamber and had their potential unlocked by the elders, allowing their power to surge rapidly. The two sides engaged in an intense struggle, their intentions clear.
What should have been a quick exchange escalated into a prolonged battle, leaving Turles bruised. He had taken several hits, particularly from Tien Shinhan's powerful Ki Cannon, which still caused pain in his back. In return, both opponents bore injuries, but theirs seemed more severe and Ki depleted.
Turles was irked by Tien Shinhan's attitude. He clenched his fists, brandishing them threateningly as he confronted his adversaries. "You dare mock me after hitting me a few times?"
Tien Shinhan's icy retort matched his cold demeanor. "No comment."
"Don't get too cocky. You think you're all that just because you landed a few hits on me?"
Turles irritation mounted as he gestured aggressively, his fists crackling in anticipation.
"I've got one move you won't be able to dodge!"
"Tch, as if I'm scared of your moves. If it weren't for Namekians help, you'd have been finished by now, you imbecile! Earthlings, don't get too cocky!"
"Then let me show you the might of Earth!" Tien Shinhan unexpectedly initiated an attack, extending his open palms towards Turles. His intention was clear: he was unleashing a new technique.
Nappa, sensing Tien Shinhan's resolve, followed suit, albeit at a slower pace.
"Dodon Ray? I've seen this before!" Turles, recognizing Tien Shinhan's posture, could anticipate his move.
True to expectations, as Tien Shinhan yelled Dodon Ray a burst of radiant energy emanated from his palms. Turles evaded the attack, leaping out of the light's path. His response was punctuated by a derisive snort, his demeanor reeking of arrogance and confidence.
Tien Shinhan, however, wasn't deterred. He had predicted that victory would not come easily and had unveiled a secret technique. As he enacted his attack, he noticed something unusual—Turles movements seemed overly anticipated.
The attack continued as anticipated, but there was a twist. Two more Tien Shinhan avatars materialized, forming a triangular arrangement. Each extended four hands, mimicking the stance of "Four Demon Fists."
And in each hand rested a charged "One-Handed Ki wave!"
In total, twelve Qigong Cannons converged, forming an inescapable triangular barrage. This, Tien Shinhan referred to as an attack with no safe zone—an absolute offensive.
"Darn it!" Turles, noticing the absence of openings and realizing his misjudgment, attempted to maneuver through the flurry of energy projectiles.
"Boom! Boom! Boom!"
The twelve Ki Cannons detonated successively, creating a dazzling spectacle that sent shockwaves through the air. The ground trembled, and the sky resounded with explosive force, the cacophony echoing through the distance.
Nappa, watching in satisfaction, couldn't help but grin. "This guy... it's on now."
However, Tien Shinhan's successive techniques—Four Body Fists, Four Demon Fists, and the torrent of Ki Cannons—had considerably used up his Ki. Multiple avatars coalesced into one, resulting in a diminished strength. Despite the depleted power, he resorted to merging avatars into one.
"Haaaa!" Within the dissipating smoke, Turles fierce roar reverberated. Then, white energy tore through the remnants of smoke, hurtling towards Tien Shinhan and smashing through the weakened defense.
Turles, maintaining an air of triumph, grinned as he emerged from the haze. His battle attire was tattered, and blood adorned his forehead. His chest armor had been cracked, while a putrid stench wafted from the blackened area on his back.
He exuded an aura of determination and savagery, his demeanor indicating his resolve to emerge victorious.
Just moments prior, Turles had struck Tien Shinhan with a forceful punch, causing him to collide with a boulder.
"Phew...phew..." Turles panted, his brow beaded with sweat, his breathing ragged. "Who would've thought someone dared to use this move against me! Keke!"
Tien Shinhan's fallen form lay amidst a pile of rubble.
Having suffered Turles strike, Tien Shinhan found his strength scattered. Even his ultimate move had failed to suffice against Turles. As he struggled to lift himself off the ground, his eyes smoldered with fiery resolve.
"Nappa, it's your turn."
Summoning his last vestiges of energy, Tien Shinhan stood up, his frame trembling with fatigue.
His legs were unsteady, but Nappa managed to rise to his feet. Though his body quivered, he remained upright, defying his depleted strength.
Turles face twisted with disdain, irritated by Tien Shinhan's tenacity. With a burst of energy, he lunged at Nappa.
With clenched fists and the determination to resist, Nappa braced himself for Turles assault.
The clash between their energies sent ripples through the interface, and a gust of wind billowed between them.
In the next instant, Turles jaw shifted as his face contorted. His arm was struck with a dull thud, his muscles tensing in response. He emitted a cry of agony as he was launched through the air, the impact shattering his battle suit and sending blood splattering.
"It seems someone tried to harm my comrade. Perfect timing—I've just crawled back from the edge of death, and I'm absolutely furious," Raditz announced as he intercepted Nappa, his eyes ablaze with cold indifference.
