'One million left to get the soul weapon. I need to resume Dual Cultivating soon and earn more Dual Cultivation points to buy it.' Wang Ming thought to himself. ' Ignoring the delay, at least I'll gain more points while cultivating with Inner and Core Disciples.'

The female disciples of the Inner Court and Core disciples have higher cultivation levels compared to those of the Outer Court, and cultivating with them would yield more points.

"By the way, Sect Master, why are they here?" Wang Ming asked, pointing toward the group of girls. Jiang Hong followed his gaze, and his lips twitched when he saw the girls eating popcorn while wearing glasses—it seemed they were enjoying some kind of show. As soon as they realized the Sect Master and Peak Masters were staring at them, they hurriedly stashed the glasses and popcorn into their storage rings.

"Disciple Wang Ming, your partners sure are... quirky," Lei Ping remarked, his face twitching slightly as he glanced at Wang Ming, who now had a visible vein popping on his forehead. Wang Ming gave him a stiff smile but said nothing.

"Anyway, no particular reason. I just decided to move their pod along with yours," Jiang Hong replied with a shrug.

Wang Ming raised an eyebrow when he noticed Min Li among the group, as she technically wasn't part of his team—at least not yet. He still remembered her proposal in the VR world, which he had already decided to accept, planning to make her his Dao companion. He briefly wondered if the Sect Master had been observing them back then but quickly dismissed the thought—it didn't matter anyway in the first place.

He then turned his attention to the approaching girls and glared at them. Bai Lingxi smirked in return, while the others avoided eye contact and started whistling innocently, causing his eyebrow to twitch in frustration.

Before Wang Ming could say anything to them, he saw a blur pass by and looked forward to see Mu Feixu standing in front of the girls. Her eyes were shining, and she wore a smile so eager that if she had been rubbing her hands together, she would've looked like a sleazy salesman.

The girls were surprised by her sudden appearance and instinctively jumped back.

"Oops, sorry for startling you, ladies," Mu Feixu said with a smile. The girls, however, were a little wary, especially after noticing the greedy glint in her eyes.

"And you are?" Shi Yu asked curiously. They had already recognized her as a Peak Master and not some kind of threat, especially since her cultivation was weaker than Bai Lingxi's and close to their own.

"I'm Mu Feixu, a Peak Master," she introduced herself with a bright smile.

"Hey, keep your distance. You're invading their personal space," Zhou Huixin said, narrowing her eyes. She could already guess what Mu Feixu was planning.

"You girls look very talented. Your cultivation is far above most of the Core Disciples," Mu Feixu said, ignoring Zhou Huixin and offering a flattering compliment.

"Thank you for your kind words, Peak Master. But... do you want something from us?" Shi Yu asked politely, though her tone held a note of caution. Bai Lingxi and Luo Li were also getting suspicious of Mu Feixu's intentions—and their suspicions were confirmed when she muttered her next words.

"You girls haven't joined any Peak yet, right? How about joining mine? I can even train you to become the next Peak Master," Mu Feixu offered, her tone full of charm.

Zhou Huixin chuckled at that, drawing suspicious looks from the other Peak Masters.

"I apologize," Bai Lingxi said calmly, "like Wang Ming, we also promised to join her Peak." Even if they hadn't, she thought, they would have followed Wang Ming regardless.

"What? You also joined the Jade Peak?" Mu Feixu exclaimed, then turned to glare at Zhou Huixin with gritted teeth. Zhou Huixin merely smirked in return.

'This sneaky bitch,' Mu Feixu cursed inwardly, lamenting that she hadn't paid more attention to the Outer Court. If she had, she wouldn't have missed out on these rare talents.

"I think you should reconsider and join my Peak. That way, you can compete with your partner," Mu Feixu added, trying a new approach. "I can tell just by looking—you're all competitive, especially you..." Her gaze landed meaningfully on Bai Lingxi. "And besides, my Peak is ranked one level higher than Jade Peak," she said, puffing up slightly with pride.

'Doesn't that just mean you're the Peak Master of the second weakest Peak? That's not much of a difference. Even if we were to consider switching, we'd choose a stronger Peak than yours,' the girls all shared the same thought as they stared oddly at Mu Feixu. If Mu Feixu could have heard their thoughts, she would have been struck by invisible arrows.

"We apologize again, but we've decided to join the Jade Peak and won't be changing our decision," Bai Lingxi stated firmly, causing Mu Feixu to sigh in defeat.

"What about you, Disciple Min Li? You didn't promise her, right? And even if you did, you can still change your mind. How about joining my Peak? It's the strongest," Qin Mu said, turning his attention to Min Li.

"No, I didn't promise her," Min Li replied a bit awkwardly. Qin Mu's eyes lit up, but her next words nearly made him stumble.

"I already joined the Jade Peak before the exam even started," Min Li added. Everyone turned to glare at Zhou Huixin, who looked smug but remained silent. The other Peak Masters silently raised their guard against her, realizing they had underestimated how sneaky she could be.

"Alright, I'm promoting all of you to Core Disciples as well," Jiang Hong announced, handing them their new robes, tokens, and contribution points.

The other Peak Masters didn't object. After witnessing their performances, even if they weren't as overwhelming as Wang Ming's or Bai Lingxi's, the girls were still more than qualified to become Core Disciples.
