"Shut the hell up! She's getting angrier," said another urgently, and everyone immediately shut their mouths, their bodies tensing. They all sighed in relief when they saw Feng Mei look away, apparently deciding to ignore them.

Wang Ming, Bai Lingxi, Shi Yu, and Luo Li all looked at Feng Mei after overhearing the whispers. When Feng Mei felt their gazes, her eyebrows twitched in irritation.

"You're really... unique, aren't you?" Shi Yu said in a speechless tone, causing Feng Mei to shoot her an annoyed look.

"Those are slanders," Feng Mei said in an indignant voice.

"Doesn't seem like it," Wang Ming teased, which made Feng Mei groan.

"Ugh, I was young, alright? And I was just really irritated by the constant attempts to court me," Feng Mei said in an annoyed voice. If they hadn't pushed her to her limits, she wouldn't have reacted that way. Yes, she was beautiful and the daughter of someone influential—that's why they pursued her. Honestly, if she were a man, she might have chased after herself too. But still, it was annoying.

"But your actions were definitely unique," Bai Lingxi commented. Everyone turned to look at her, causing her lips to twitch.
