Chapter 233: Oh Arogant Hero, Step forward at your own peril
The priests appeared confused, their eyes widening at his words.
However, that didn't mean they took his words positively, with three of the young priests' faces twisting in anger.
"Who are you to say that!?"
"Foul creature, this land is human land!"
Two of them couldn't hold back and shouted at Leonhardt while stepping across the indicated line.
Gobomir's hand slipped his sword free.
Leonhardt lifted his hand to calm him down, the goblin sheathing his blade once again.
It seems these young people cannot control their emotions...
"Joffry, Baldyr!"
Bishop Henry's shout reverberated through the dark throne room.
He gazed up at Leonhardt before lowering his head with both hands placed together.
"Forgive these foolish lambs, for they do not know their errors."
Leonhardt's lips curled into a wide grin—he didn't mind their words. In honesty, he expected more of an issue with the Bishop than with these lesser priests. "Worry not, Bishop Henry." So he played along with their little farce.
"I will not slay the innocent, be they monster or human."
"What nonsense!" Finally, the black haired rat spoke. Kaito's face twisted into one of disgust as she stepped closer to the throne Leonhardt was lazily sitting on. "Monsters, innocent? You're insane, the only good monster is a—Ack!"
Kaito's body flew towards the door.
Behind him, Gobomir's furious eyes shone with a malevolent light after tossing the hero with all his strength.
"..."
What a mess... can't he control his emotions?
"Bishop Henry, is this how your hero acts?"
"I am ashamed of his actions."
The old man shook his head before kneeling in front of Leonhardt. "Great Lord, forgive these fools for they know nothing of the world." Leonhardt acknowledged this old man, his divine power enough to wound or even kill a greater demon. So, at least he had some respect for this Bishop.
"There is no need to kneel, Bishop."
He didn't want to assert his power here,
Leonhardt decided that the best approach was to adopt a mixed attitude when first meeting these humans. He didn't harbour any ill will towards humanity, nor did he intend to rule them with an iron fist, like Belial.
Well, at least for now...
[You seem to have become softer on humans, is there a reason?]
He leaned back as the priests helped lift Kaito off the floor—the scene was amusing to his eyes... "Well, maybe it's because Dia's pussy felt amazing?"
[W-What?]
Ifrit's tone sounded cold, but Leonhardt himself looked more shocked.
He covered his mouth with a confused expression.
Did I say that?
The thoughts sprouted from the back of his mind, and Leonhardt didn't particularly doubt them because it was true. He found Dia's body amazing—otherwise, she wouldn't still be living in a comfortable dungeon below this mansion.
[The more you spend with that damn succubus, the worse you get!]
(Well~ don't be so jealous of her Ifrit.)
[Shut up, Dravanna!]
Leonhardt shook his head, looking down at the group while massaging his aching temples.
"Hero, do you hate monsters that much?"
Kaito's sharp eyes glared at the Majin, but Leonhardt shrugged it off. He wondered why this kid with such great power and strength acted like such a fool.
"Of course I do! You are beasts who enjoy torturing helpless women!"
Kaito hissed through gritted teeth, his fists shaking as he gripped them hard enough for his nails to draw blood.
The anger made Leonhardt chuckle.
He hated monsters because they tortured women, well, Leonhardt couldn't claim he didn't. The way he made Dia's mind break, slowly peeling away her resistance as she begged for him, felt euphoric.
Still, the thought of being judged like this irritated him.
"So, if a human tortured a woman you would be fine with that?"
The black haired hypocrite didn't respond at first—instead, he looked down at the ground in silence, his expression unreadable.
A young priest stepped forward, his head held high with pride.
"Humans are not monsters! There is no way they could be so cruel!"
"Joffry, was it?" The priest nodded with a confident expression. "You do know what happens when women are captured by bandits right?" Leonhardt leaned on his palm, watching the priest's face twist into a disgusted shape.
"Did you also know that dungeon monsters don't have sexual organs when born?"
Leonhardt watched Joffry's face turn pale as he stumbled back, falling to the floor in shock.
"How can you be so sure?" A female priestess spoke up, her voice calm and serene. "Do you have them?" Her tone was more curious and rather cute compared to the harsh males.
"I do."
He watched her gaze float down to his crotch, enjoying how her throat moved and she swallowed.
"Want to see?"
Again... why do I keep speaking like this?
[...]
(It seems the effects of merging highly sexual races had a significant impact on your thoughts, haha.)
The priestess froze, while Leonhardt smiled, the other priests all looked defensive, standing around the young female with curly brown hair and grey eyes.
"You shameless monster!" Kaito hissed through clenched teeth, his face twisted in rage. "How dare you try and taint her pure soul!"
"I did nothing, human boy."
This time, Leonhardt shouted back.
He stood from his throne as the loose kimono shifted to reveal his manhood, the heavy organ hanging without shame and entered the group sight.
The woman's eyes widened when she saw it, while the men looked away immediately, embarrassed by its size and weight.
"Enough!"
Bishop Henry's shout brought everyone's attention back to him, but it didn't change anything.
"See, look at you trying to harass her sexually!"
Kaito rushed forward, holding his katana.
Leonhardt watched as Kaito ran forward with swift and decisive steps, his sword drawn as he slashed at Gobomir. However, the goblin blocked the blade easily with his own.
The pair slid back, one panting, the other calm.
Leonhardt looked to Bishop Henry, who did the same, both shrugging at each other with a bitter smile. He fixed his kimono to hide the immodest sight and stepped down from the throne, his height close to seven feet. "Gobomir, there is no need to fight him." Leonhardt's tone carried authority and power.
It was an order.
The goblin nodded silently before putting away his blade.
But...
"You piece of filth! Are you scared to fight me now?"
Kaito's distorted hatred made Leonhardt frown—something wasn't normal.
In the dungeon master's sight, hundreds of black elementals fluttered and flew around the young male's head, constantly flowing into his body, then popping out.
The thing that made him doubtful was that his angry outbursts started only after they began acting in this strange way.
"Hero Kaito, I am not going to waste my time fighting a child."
He closed his eyes for a moment before continuing to speak.
"Especially not when you're under the influence of some strange spirit."
[It's truly strange... a hero should have divine protection against dark elementals...]
What happens to a person affected by dark elementals?
(There's usually no issue... at least for monsters and demons, but humans... it causes anger, hatred, jealousy and even makes them see illusions)
So it is something similar to madness...
He nodded, and Bishop Henry walked forward.
"Hero, please stop."
"Stay back Bishop! I will help the hero adapt and hopefully he'll change for the better."
Leonhardt moved across the throne room towards Kaito, his eyes narrowed as he approached slowly. The young male watched him with dark, discoloured eyes. "So, are you going to slash me? If not I'll make that priestess squeal my name and make you watch, while you squeeze that tiny thing with your hand."
Kaito froze, his entire body trembling from his words.
The hero's face contorted in an expression of shock mixed with hatred. "You sick bastard!" He rushed forward with his sword drawn, slashing at Leonhardt.
After all, it's the elementals affecting his emotions.
Leonhardt caught the blade between his fingertips, as if catching a fly's wings.
Kaito grunted as he tried desperately to pull free from his grasp, but even the sharp blade couldn't penetrate Leonhardt's skin. The Majin took a step closer before punching Kaito in the solar plexus, causing the air to escape his lungs in a rush while he doubled over.
"Now, I'll deal with those things."
Leonhardt leaned down, his palm touching the hero's head.
"Hero!?"
"Kaito!!"
The priestess called the boy's name, but Leonhardt didn't hurt him, instead...
Darkness flowed into Leon's palm, hundreds of tiny elementals like hungry gnats flew into his hand and vanished.
These foolish things, once inside Leonhardt, became ensnared.
A buzzing echoed through his body, before a strange desire to kill... and ravish the priestess who looked like she might cry at any moment jolted Leonhardt's brain.
However, that's when the secondary thought process snatched those thoughts, and the desires vanished.
"I feel good..." Leonhardt smirked at Bishop Henry.
The man looked with wide eyes at Leonhardt, who easily defeated the hero with a punch.
"Don't worry, the hero should be calmer when he wakes up, shall we finish our discussion in private?"
