Samuel smirked as he watched everything fall into place. Everything was under his control.
After all, he loved his siblings too much. But as a big brother, he also knew everything about them—all their embarrassing moments, their weaknesses, their deepest secrets. And, of course, he had collected them all.
Not to harm them. No, no. Just as a precaution.
Because he knew. One day, someone would try to pull a fast one on him. And when that day came? He needed a way to turn the tables.
Basically? He had blackmail material on every single one of them.
And it worked. The moment they realized what he had, they calmed down. No more pranks. No more teasing. Silence.
As for his mother, Elizabeth,he had a plan.
As She wanted to reincarnate with his father, God, into a world of Itarim . Basically, Solo Leveling kind of world. Her goal? was simple to erase Absolute Being and make his FATHER God to take his place place.
Samuel knew this. He also knew his mother was easy to manipulate… but ONLY if Father was involved.
Poor Father.
he was her only weakness.
So, Samuel casually blackmailed his mother.
"If you try to embarrass me, Mother, I'll tell Father about your little plan," he had said with a smirk. And just like that, she backed off.
But what Samuel didn't tell her was that Father already knew.
After all, he was True omnipotent,Omniscient,Omnipresent and Nothing escaped him .maybe he waiting for mother to ask .
Samuel sighed. Time passed.
As year's started to pass
Samuel turned his focus to Rudra.
He trained him in hand-to-hand combat, teaching him only the basics. From there, Rudra had to develop his own fighting style.
And alongside him was Lucia.
Over time, their bond grew stronger. And as their training continued, Rudra evolved from a High Even to a Saint. His progress was insane. Samuel felt proud. His first student was growing well.
One day, during training, Samuel noticed something.
A Spirit of Light had appeared. Not a Great Spirit of Light. Just a normal one.
Samuel raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing here, little brother? Do you need something?" With a smile, he walked over and hugged the spirit tightly.
The Spirit of Light immediately gave up. He knew exactly what his fate was.
And sure enough— "Ahhh, my little brother has grown so much~!" Samuel cooed, pinching his cheeks while dramatically wiping away fake tears.
The Spirit of Light struggled but couldn't escape.
"Big Brother, I have something important to tell you!" the spirit whined.
"Oh? What do you want, baby brother?" Samuel asked with a teasing smile.
Rudra and Lucia just stood there, shocked.
Lucia, especially.
This was the first time she had ever seen Samuel act like this.
Usually, he was trying to act all cool and all-powerful in front of her.
But now? He was doting on a tiny spirit like a mother doting on her child.
The Spirit of Light turned to Rudra.
"Brother, I came because of him," he said, pointing at Rudra.
Samuel's eyebrow twitched. "Oh?"
The Spirit continued.
"With Big Sis Ramiris, we created something called a Hero's Egg. You know how a True Hero needs true will to evolve? Just like Adam did in front of us?"
Samuel nodded. He knew.
"Well," the Spirit said, "this Hero's Egg is like a stepping stone. A process to help someone evolve into a True Hero."
Samuel thought for a moment.
The Spirit, still trapped in his arms, saw the look on Samuel's face and panicked.
Finally, Samuel let go.
The Spirit sighed in relief.
"Alright, give it to him," Samuel said.
The Spirit of Light beamed with excitement.
Their first experiment was about to begin.
He walked up to Rudra.
Rudra frowned. "Uh… what are you going to do to me?"
"Oh, no, no, child," the Spirit chuckled. "You have the potential to become a True Hero. That's why I came. This Hero's Egg is a prototype. Do you accept?"
Rudra hesitated. "Will it hurt?" he chuckled nervously.
"No, no, no!" the Spirit assured him. "We took countermeasures for that."
Rudra sighed. "Alright, then. I accept."
The Spirit of Light took the glowing Hero's Egg in his hands.
And then—
He punched it straight into Rudra's chest.
The egg pierced through his heart.
"RUDRA!!!" Lucia screamed in shock.
But before she could do anything—
Samuel raised a hand.
"Relax," he said calmly. "It's part of the process. He's fine."
Hearing that, Lucia calmed down.
For some reason, every time she looked at Samuel, she felt a strange, bubbling feeling in her stomach. She didn't understand why that she feel shy infront of samael.
Meanwhile, the Spirit of Light slowly pulled his hand back from Rudra's chest.
Rudra, still in shock, stared at the spot where the spirit's hand had pierced him.
But… there was no wound.
Instead, a faint light glowed there. Slowly, the light started to dim until it completely disappeared.
Rudra gulped. "What… what was that?"
The Spirit of Light smiled. "Oh, that was the Hero's Egg. I placed it inside your soul."
A shiver ran down Rudra's spine.
"W-What? You placed it in my soul?" he stammered.
The Spirit of Light chuckled. "Oh? Big Brother didn't tell you?"
Rudra frowned. "Tell me what?"
The Spirit of Light's eyes twinkled. "That there are other worlds. There are 99 omniversal layers… and beyond them, another cardinal world."
Rudra's mind spun. He had heard about this before.
"Yes," Rudra said, crossing his arms. "Sensei mentioned that these things exist."
The Spirit of Light nodded. "Yes. But in those other worlds, humans evolve through their own willpower alone."
Lucia tilted her head. "What do you mean?"
The Spirit of Light explained, "In otherworld world, humans and other species have been given a balance of sins and virtues. But in this world, it's nothing have nothing. They can develop only virtues… or only sins. Or both. It depends entirely on their own free will."
Rudra listened carefully. This was a lot to take in.
"So," the Spirit continued, "to help humans in this world escape the willpower limitation, we—the spirits and Big Sister Ramiris—created the Hero's Egg. With it, a High human can evolve and stand on equal footing with True Demon Lords."
Rudra's jaw dropped.
"Wait… what?!"
Lucia's eyes widened. "Humans… can be on par with True Demon Lords?!"
The Spirit of Light nodded seriously. "Yes. A True Hero, once awakened, can stand alongside a True Demon Lord."
Rudra swallowed hard. This was insane.
"But," the Spirit added, "this only applies to those who undergo the correct process."
Lucia blinked. "And what is the process?"
Rudra looked at the Spirit. "Yeah… how do I awaken this Hero's Egg?"
Before the Spirit of Light could answer, Samuel stepped in.
"I'll tell you," Samuel said with a smirk. "It's simple."
Rudra and Lucia leaned in, listening.
Samuel grinned.
"You go out… and kill 30,000 mindless monsters. Once you do that, your Hero's Egg will hatch, and you will awaken as a True Hero."
Silence.
Then—
"WHAT?!"
Both Rudra and Lucia shouted at the same time.
30,000 monsters?! That number was insane! Even as High Humans, they knew that would be exhausting!
Lucia's face paled. "How… how are we supposed to do that?!" Rudra clenched his fists. He knew this wouldn't be easy. But deep inside, something stirred.
A challenge.
Lucia hesitated. She didn't want Rudra to go alone. So, after some thought…
She sighed.
"Fine. I'll go with you."
