Earth With Dungeon: Saving the World With an Economic Boom

Chapter 308.2

Chapter 308.2. Saving The World With An Economic Boom, Right?

Ohki-kun rolled on the ground, clutching his stomach in pain, while the goblin skipped around, raising its finger in a victory dance. The kids at the front clapped and started dancing along. The goblin’s quite popular. The person inside seems happy.

“Alright. Now you understand how scary goblins are. Next, I’ll show you the danger of a goblin knight.”

At Konoha’s words, the crowd parted, and a muscular man carrying a wooden sword appeared. The crowd cheered at his impressive figure.

“It’s the Golden Warrior Ares~! Give me your autograph!”

“Heh, later.”

The goblin knight, with only a “Go” written on his shoulder pad, appeared like a hero, smiling confidently to the applause. Ohki-kun groaned in pain, putting on a convincing act, but when the maid whispered in his ear, he revived. I think I heard something about a TV station being here.

It seemed like a tokusatsu hero show. As I petted my fox scarf, I noticed a store clerk starting to hand out cakes, so I decided to relax until evening.

At dusk, I returned to my penthouse to find Sei and Tear preparing for a party in the garden with Mikoto. Magical lights shone above, and the tables were laden with large plates of food.

“Thanks for helping out, Sei.”

“Not at all. I came early.”

Sei, now the mayor of Narashino City, smiled softly and bowed. She’s called a living god or a saint.

“Umm~ I’m working hard too, you know~?”

“I’ll think about it once you pay off your sweet room debt.”

Tear, as always, was freeloading off me, living in a sweet room. Even as a NEET, she lives luxuriously, so I occasionally put her to work. She’s skilled, after all.

Both of them haven’t aged. Sei, at least, makes sense, but Tear too. Maybe if you get too strong, you stop aging.

“Do your best, ryuu~”

“Please let me taste it.”

Mikoto was helping, with Sachi behind her carrying food with Inochi.

“Matching, huh?”

“It seems so.”

Serika and Yukihana appeared, followed by Ares.

“It smells delicious~”

“It’s a feast~”

“Really~”

Titania and her fairy friends arrived nervously, and the garden was soon packed. I used a bit of power to expand the space.

“Sakimori. Did you prepare the gift?”

Serika teased me, looking up with a smirk, so I grinned and showed her a small box.

“Yeah, three months’ salary.”

“Three months of your salary? I’m curious what it’s made of, but I’ll save that for my turn. Bigamy’s illegal, but if it’s one in this world and one in another, it doesn’t count, right?”

Serika smiled, coming up with a novel idea. I guess marrying someone from another world wouldn’t count under current laws. I cleared my throat.

“Everyone. It’s been three years. Shizuku should have paved the way for humanity’s revival. It’s time to go get her.”

Everyone fell silent. Yes, we agreed not to see Shizuku for three years. She decided to work hard on humanity’s revival during that time.

This is the reunion we’ve been waiting for. I raised my hand. The path between dimensions remained unchanged. A door began to form and open. The three years felt both long and short. But I was definitely lonely.

“Do you think Shizuku’s waiting for us?”

Serika voiced the question, but who knows? She’s a mischievous fairy, after all. I’d be happy if she missed us.

“Who knows? She’s capricious, so she might have forgotten.”

“Yukihana-chan thinks Shizuku’s waiting in a pure white wedding dress.”

Everyone waited, expecting the door to open and light to pour out.

And when the door fully opened,

Shizuku, in pure white, flew into my chest.

“Zagimori-san! I missed you~!”

“Me too, partner.”

I smiled gently at the tearful Shizuku and hugged her back. It was a touching reunion. Everyone watched with warm eyes. I had a gentle look.

“So, what’s with the documents?”

Though she was in pure white, my partner was carrying a stack of pure white documents. What were they? Looking past the door, I saw mountains of paperwork covering the floor, with fairies and Bacchus drinking and partying.

“That’s right! Listen, Sakimori-san. Humans are terrible! They want this, they want that. They demand meetings, proposals, requests, complaints, and schedules! Even when I say I’m hiding, they don’t listen! My fairy friends keep bringing more documents, lured by cake, and I’m overwhelmed! My internal affairs stat is only 53!”

Shizuku laughed dryly, throwing papers that turned into confetti. It seems humans have no mercy, even for their savior. That’s just how they are.

“What’s this? They want more iron resources? Many mines are depleted, so they want the divine pixies to provide mines for free…”

I picked up a sheet and read it. It was a shameless request. I couldn’t help but smile.

“Got it. Leave it to me. Delegate everything to me, Shizuku. I’ve been interested in interworld trade.”

I chuckled to myself. This sounds fun.

“Fine. I’ll join you. Let’s have the wedding first. We’ll leave that idiot best friend behind.”

Serika shrugged and laughed.

“Yukihana-chan will stay with our lord, so it can’t be helped.”

Yukihana smiled wryly.

“Huh?! Wait, Sakimori-san! What about my proposal?!”

Shizuku panicked, so I gave her a thumbs-up.

“First, we need to save the humans who claim to be struggling. It’s about resources, employment, and money, right?”

Shizuku grabbed my hand, but I didn’t wait. Amatsu Corporation is storming into a new market. Everything else can wait.

“Saving the world with a booming economy, right?”

Sachi, who had climbed onto my head, raised her hand and declared.

“That’s right. Well then, let’s go become the world’s saviors.”

Laughing cheerfully, Amano Sakimori stepped into a new world.
