Emperor's Domination

In the present, Desolate Ancestor’s branch waned in power but was still firmly in charge. Its members consisted of Wisdom Ancestor, North Kun God, Crimson Virtue Emperor, Tortoise Emperor, and many more.

Absolute Ancestor belonged to Everlasting Jiang’s branch. Though its leader was gone, his policies remained and the two branches became closer than ever, on the verge of merging.

There were neutral parties as well, an example included Solar Monarch with a slight inclination toward the current ruling branch. The strongest neutral member was Whale Ancestor - an outsider not from Desolate Frontier. His background was under the rule of Trinity Kingdom.

However, he didn’t accept Trinity Kingdom’s recruitment after becoming an emperor so he left to join Desolate Frontier. Due to his background, he never participated in any power struggle.

As for Alch-deer, as a demon from Alchemy Peak, he was on the same side as Dragon-pill Emperor - Desolate Ancestor’s branch. The same was true for Huntblade.

“I’m not expecting anything. Lost Peak won’t give up its alloy tree and Centurial Peak with its reborn tree.” Alch-deer grumbled.

“Obviously, taking that reborn tree will drive the Chen crazy.” Huntblade said.

“Do they dare refuse an official command of the ancestor?” Alch-deer disagreed.

“Hmm…” Huntblade said: “Hard to say. The others might not dare to do so, but Tenth-gen Chen is a different story.”

“Really? Tenth-gen Ancestor will be so imperious?” Alch-deer asked.

“Because he inherited the memories and legacies of the previous generations. This is their foundation. My master mentioned how the progenitor warned them before. It doesn’t seem like they’re changing.” Huntblade said.

“It doesn’t matter how strong they become, they can’t outdo the progenitor. Just one blade and that peak will be flattened.” Alch-deer said.

This was no exaggeration. When Desolate Ancestor was around, all other beings were mere insects. Even supreme overlords feared her blade.

“The details elude me, Master talked about how the progenitor didn’t wish to break old ties for sentimental reasons.” Huntblade said.

“This is beyond our business, if some people want to be moths, the ancestor will take care of them.” Alch-deer concluded.

“You are one bad deer.” Huntblade gave him the side eye.

Alch-deer shrugged in response, ready to hide behind more capable cultivators.

Solar Monarch begrudgingly carried his two trees to Silence Peak. The moment he arrived, he was astounded by the new garden - colorful and radiant. The value of the chosen trees and plants couldn’t be overstated.

A notable one was a bamboo tree shouldering the sky and covering all of Silence Peak. It came from Absolute Ancestor, once a possession of Immortal Gate.

“Celestial bamboo!” He blurted out its name.

Its green particles fell to the ground, nourishing the soil and all other life forms.

He saw another - a floating galaxy circling Silence Peak like a silver necklace. The whole place seemed more magical as a result.

“Temporal galaxial vine, not mind-refinement flower?” He was surprised to see it.

Next was a tea tree higher up on the peak. Its aroma lingered by the nose. Even someone like Solar Monarch felt his solar fire essence being refined and improved.

“Hundred-dao tea tree.” He stared at it in a daze.

Alch-deer had mentioned this previously but he didn’t believe it. Now, he became frozen after seeing all of them, especially the divine bamboo.

Their Absolute Ancestor’s most valuable bamboo was here as well. Nothing could compare to it except the Chen’s reborn tree.

Solar looked at his two trees awkwardly. They were treasures to regular people but didn’t stand a chance here.

At first, he thought his gifts weren’t bad and displayed sufficient goodwill. Now, they were mere weeds.

“Solar Monarch, you’re here too.” Dragon-pill who was busy digging a pit noticed his arrival and waved with a smile.

Solar wanted to leave right away.

“Brother, you’re just in time. Come, we just finished planting several.” Crimson Virtue laughed.

Not to mention the top three tributes, even Tortoise Emperor brought his most precious coral forest.

“The ancestor is over here, come greet him.” Tortoise waved at him as well.

Solar couldn’t help looking in that direction and saw a youth sitting leisurely while the others performed hard labor. However, the youth’s face struck him like lightning.
