Exploring Immortality Cultivation

Chapter 266 Silver Dawn, Circle of Reason [Seeking Support, Recommendations, Monthly Tickets]

Divine Tao has two types of cultivation, one for Divine Spirit Cultivators and another for Witchcraft.

The Original Dao Salvation Song is the unique cultivation method of the Holy Infant Sect, positioned between Divine Spirit and Witchcraft, and it's called the "Divine Son Cultivation Method." Once perfected, if the cultivator dies, their Divine Soul automatically merges with the Divine Spirit, remaining in the world eternally. The Three Weis Discipline, for instance, is purely Witchcraft, used to establish a connection between the cultivator and the Divine Spirit. As for how high one can achieve, it depends on the Divine Spirit's will.

Du Bin knew that Wang Qi had ambitious plans, but hadn't expected him to be so suicidal.

What is the Holy Infant Sect? It's the foremost Divine sect of eternity. And what is a Divine sect? It is the very entity that the Immortal Alliance swore to eradicate!

Upon hearing Du Bin's reference, the four young men looked at Wang Qi with some animosity. Although they were loyal to Du Bin, they were not foolish. Practicing the Three Weis Discipline under the overbearing presence of the Immortal Alliance was practically suicide!

Wang Qi said, "What's with those looks, is this the Three Weis Discipline? I've deleted all the key chapters, alright!"

So, you are not denying that this is the Three Weis Discipline, are you!

Du Bin felt his heart could barely take it. His descendants of the Divine Capital's Ancient Method and the Immortal Alliance weren't exactly aligned, but they hadn't torn into each other either! Were they now raising a rebellion flag? Were they insane?

"The Holy Infant Sect had long since separated Divine Spirit Power from their own entities, creating a unique Divine Tao System. This system lacks a human heart and will, thus it grows without limits. However, once the incense fire power cuts off, it collapses immediately, unlike regular Divine Spirit Cultivators who might linger on."

Wang Qi nonchalantly said, "The Holy Infant Sect has almost vanished for two thousand years, the Merciful Father Holy Infant, Pure Wind King too has dispersed, chanting these won't cause any effects or connect with any Divine Spirit. Even if it did, well, I've deleted all sentences that point towards any Divine Spirit, even if you devoutly believe, the incense fire power generated will have no direction."

Du Bin asked, "Then what do you want to do?"

"I want obedience, absolute obedience," Wang Qi said. "They must follow the system I set, uphold the mindset I plan out, and bring their bodies and spirits to an optimal state."

Wang Qi pulled out a man-high silver-embedded wooden cross from his storage bag and placed it in the most conspicuous part of the room. Du Bin was once again terrified, "This is a Divine Tao insignia!"

A Divine Tao insignia, a symbol, a mark. If the entire world thinks that this symbol represents that god, then everywhere this symbol is imprinted, all items bearing this mark will establish contact with the Divine Spirit.

"It's not the Holy Infant Sect's Triple Holy Circle, why the shock?" Wang Qi reassured Du Bin with those words, then turned to the others and said, "You all need to remember every word I say next. Holy Light is a kind of Mystical Thought unlike any before, because it does not fall into reverence for anyone or anything; Holy Light represents another kind of power, where loyalty and good deeds are more crucial. This power also includes study and contemplation, especially how to be a good person... These creeds, I will slowly teach you, and you have plenty of time to learn."

"Now, to enhance your sense of community, to let you realize you are part of a system, I must give you a collective name." Wang Qi pondered for a moment and then said, "Let's call it 'Silver Dawn.'"

The Silver Hand is rather unlucky, the Blood-Colored Cross is all madmen.

After making arrangements here, Wang Qi then moved to the West Wing. This time, he did not use the Holy Light for healing, but rather talked extensively about "rationality": "You must hold fast to the way of Wisdom, understand in your hearts that there are no gods in Shenzhou, no gods in the world, but respect gods as if they were present. What's called Divine Tao is the result of the first fraud meeting the first fool, but even so, the rationale of Divine Tao also has its merits; for thousands of years, the Human Clan has been continuously creating Divine Spirits, ensuring the prosperity of Divine Tao."

"I will teach you how to use your own wisdom to cut through troubles, split open mysteries, see through Dao Morality, and understand the world."

Then, he took out a gold-inlaid jade circle and placed it in the most conspicuous part of the room.

"The Circle represents wisdom. There are many secrets hidden within the Circle. Human understanding of the Circle is endless; in ancient Daoism, they used Taiji as a symbol, which is a Circle, and Wuji as their Practition, which is a Circle; Buddha spoke of Perfection, Retribution Body as the Wisdom Body, which is a Circle. In the Middle Ages, Geometry Demon Lords entered and sacrificed themselves for the Circle."

"You should regard yourselves as Circles and revere the Circle. Therefore, I bestow upon you a collective name, simply called 'Circle of Reason.'"

"All things begin with the Circle, the circle brings true reason, truth in pursuit of reality."

As Wang Qi uttered these devout words, Du Bin was thoroughly confused.

Isn't this just cultivating Divine Tao? What the heck!

Oh my, I'm just looking for a cooperative individual who can enhance my combat power, not a madman intent on cultivating Divine Tao!

After settling the four men, Wang Qi and Du Bin stepped out of the compound. As soon as they exited, Du Bin grabbed Wang Qi, asking anxiously, "Brother Wang, what exactly are you doing?"

"Li Xinch," Wang Qi replied. "I need a few experiment subjects whose mental states are stable and who are absolutely obedient. Then, based on the research by Yangshen Pavilion, Divine Tao Followers are most suitable. This is for empirical validation. The better my technique, the more you benefit, right?"

"Your 'Circle of Reason' and 'Silver Dawn' concepts don't sound like the Righteous Path at all!" Wang Qi spoke with a sarcastic tone.

"Give it up, I originally wanted to directly call them the Wisdom Sect and the Holy Light Sect."

"But... but..." Du Bin found himself speechless, "What if people find out..."

"First, the deep faith of your house servant is clearly a trick I conjured up; isn't that highly possible? Second, I've deleted all references to gods and even deliberately included anti-Divine Tao theories in my language." Wang Qi pointed to the courtyard, "Do you have any more complaints?"

Du Bin sighed, "I'm just worried..."

Wang Qi waved his hand dismissively, "Your caretaker will eventually come to me for work after he heals, won't he? Let him supervise. If I do anything excessive, you can stop me. How about that?"

Du Bin hesitated, "This..."

Wang Qi patted Du Bin on the shoulder and smiled, "By the way, you can contact the Banished Immortal of the Divine Capital, right?"

Since Banished Immortals greatly detest calculators, Wang Qi did not know the method of contact.

Du Bin nodded slightly, "Possibly..."

"Good, help me pass on a message."

"What is it?"

"'Capable of dealing with humans, asking questions of ghosts and gods.'"

Du Bin's heart skipped a beat.

Watching Du Bin flee in a panic, Wang Qi shook his head slightly, "Old man, is this guy really reliable? I don't think he has the stomach to continue playing this game."

"So what if he goes to report us? Aside from the higher-ups you know, legally speaking, you're Chen Feng's assistant, and since Chen Feng has the qualifications for Divine Tao research, it's not unreasonable for you to start a project. Besides, you've also said that your words were anti-Divine Tao, so what can he do to you?"

Zhen Chan pondered before asking, "But tell me, why are you putting so much effort into setting this up?"

"Two reasons," Wang Qi explained as they walked, "First, to think through the Cultivation Techniques, I need to study the theories within. For this issue, 'Cultivation for all, Immortal Cultivation for all' is a good topic. If I can really achieve this, then my understanding of Cultivation, Cultivation Techniques would be enough to bring me to the state of Carefree."

"Artificial Magic Foundation, Artificial Golden Core, are good directions. Just in case I can't pass the Heavenly Barrier, there's also the backup of 'Artificial Primordial Spirit.'"

"Additionally, in regards to the Divine Tao."

"I need to control the Life Flame, so I must study the Life Path. The Human Dao is an easier approach for me. Since Divine Tao is an aspect of Human Dao, I want to delve into it."

Zhen Chan asked, "But the rules you set just now, they don't sound like doctrine."

"Firstly, this is to prove Chen Feng's theory to see if a system formed from 'a crowd' can generate power; secondly, it's to test my own ideas about non-personality gods and philosophical gods."

"Silver Dawn" represents 'the notion of morality,' and "Circle of Reason" symbolizes 'rational thinking.' Wang Qi wasn't forcing those few youngsters to follow these ideas but was establishing these concepts in their minds.

Wang Qi rubbed his temples and continued, "If successful, I'll also have the chance to observe the formation of primitive religions, plus the connecting power between witches, Divine Spirits, and believers very much intrigues me. Although Chen Feng thinks it's 'Spirit Sense,' the transmission of Spirit Sense isn't out of thin air. Electromagnetic Waves, Gravity Waves, Quantum Spirit Field—there must be a medium. Finding it out would greatly aid my study in the Heavenly Material Circulation Path."

Zhen Chan smiled, "You didn't seem to think so much a few days ago."

Wang Qi grinned, honestly admitting, "At first, I truly just wanted to trap them twice using the technologies of the Coin and the Memory Body, which aren't particularly crucial. However, in the past couple of days, I've refined my thoughts."

"Do well if you're going to do it!" (To be continued. If you like this work, please come to Qidian (qidian.com) to cast your recommendation votes and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please visit m.qidian.com to read.)
