Fairy Tail: Jinchuriki

Putting aside his plan to kill Gildarts for later because the old man isn't here, Alex really has a lot of things to catch up to. He hears the results of all the changes he made, which makes him happy. But he is also disappointed he couldn't witness them himself.

"Anyway, Alex, I challenge you. I never won in the past, but 6 years have passed and I've gotten much stronger, so I will make sure to defeat you now." Natsu suddenly challenges Alex to a duel with great confidence.

"Oh, you seem really confident. Fine, let's see if you've really improved. It's also a good chance to test my new eye." Alex is also excited to see how much they've grown, so he accepts.

Everyone else moves away to give them a space for the fight. This is such an unusual reunion ceremony, but they enjoy it so much they even start betting. Surprisingly, more people are betting on Natsu's victory because they've always seen his power while they haven't seen Alex's power for years.

Natsu charges up his fire and bumps his burning fists excitedly. Right when Makarov starts the match, Natsu shoots a big strong fire breath from his mouth. Its activation time is much quicker than Alex remembers, it's almost instant.

"Well, that is a surprising attack speed and power. Not the strongest Dragon Roar I've ever faced, but certainly still dangerous." Alex calmly comments after just slightly dodging the Fire beam by jumping to the left.

Natsu's Fire Dragon Roar actually burns and destroys a big part of the ground it passes. The ground is charred and many parts are still burning red even after the fire is gone. The trees behind Alex are also burnt to ashes instantly.

This is certainly a great improvement from Natsu's last Fire Dragon Roar that Alex saw 6 years ago. Though Alex is sure that even this much power is still only enough to slightly burn Acnologia's scales.

Natsu charges forward and challenges Alex in close combat. He coats his arms and legs with fire that certainly is much more powerful and hotter than it was 6 years ago. Alex coats his arms and legs with magic power to block Natsu's burning attacks.

As he blocks Natsu's attacks, Alex is surprised by how clear and slow those attacks are in his mind. He quickly understands that it's because of his Rinne-Sharingan that enhances his visual sensor, making things look slower when he puts his mind into it.

Alex is really sure of it too because as he starts to concentrate more, he can see the flow of Natsu's magic power. That's why he realizes when Natsu is about to suddenly shoot a lot of fire from the right fire fist and blocks it appropriately by releasing more magic power through the palm he uses to block that fist.

It feels really strange though because he never experienced this before. But he knows he needs and surely wants to get used to it. After all, it's such a useful ability, especially when he fights enemies that can move faster than what his normal eyes can see.

Alex is blocking all of Natsu's attacks, but he is pushed back. Everyone who knows that Natsu could never push Alex back like this is excited, especially those who bet on Natsu. They just don't know that it's mainly because Alex feels dizzy with his new vision ability.

Seeing all the magic power flowing in Natsu's body and spells still feels very strange for him. It's like he watches 2 layers of videos on the same screen. He just can't focus on which one to see, that's why it makes him dizzy.

Fortunately, he can get used to it quickly. Maybe because his optical nerves and everything related to his visionary has been transformed when he got his Rinne-Sharingan eye. It must be the same as what happened to Uchiha clan members when they activated their Sharingan.

As Alex gets used to his new eye, his movements become better. He stops being pushed by Natsu's attacks and even pushes Natsu back with unexpected attacks. His attacks aren't even that strong and fast, yet Natsu can't stop them.

With his new eye ability, Alex can find gaps between Natsu's attacks to send his attacks. He doesn't use his magic to transform into any Tailed Beasts, so his attacks aren't enhanced and he only uses his pure physical power.

Even so, his attacks are still very strong because Alex himself is strong without using any magic. His punch on Natsu's stomach even brings the Fire Dragon Slayer to his knees, surprising everyone else because they thought that Alex would need to transform to at least take Natsu down.

"I thought you said you have improved, Natsu." Alex smirks while taunting Natsu.

"SHUT UP!" Natsu throws his burning right hand up, sending 3 sharp fire blades that look like Dragon Claws.

But Alex dodges them easily because he could see them coming. He saw Natsu gather magic power in the right hand, so Alex knew that Natsu was about to send a strong attack and was already prepared to dodge it.

Then with great agility and flexibility, Natsu uses the momentum of throwing his hand up to flip his body back. He sends a strong fire kick while jumping back, creating another fire energy blade that Alex can't dodge.

Too bad for Natsu, although Alex can't dodge it, he can block it using his palms that are coated with magic power. Though because he blocks it, Alex can feel the power of that attack which is really strong.

Natsu attacks more with unusual moves and he uses fire to extend his attacks. His fire is certainly much stronger than it was in the past. But surprisingly, Alex can feel that the fire doesn't affect him much.

Sure, he uses magic power to protect his body from Natsu's fire. But in the past, he would still feel the heat. He knows Natsu's fire has become much hotter now, but he surprisingly feels much less heat from it even though the others who watch are sweating now.

Alex finds out the answer soon, well, Matatabi does and she tells him about it. It's most likely the effect of the Dragon Lacrimas he absorbed. One of them was the Lacrima of a Fire Dragon called Purgatory Dragon Lacrima.

'I think the Dragon Lacrimas gave you immunity to their elements. The Natsu boy's fire is from a Dragon Slayer Magic, so it's of the same tier as that Purgatory Dragon's fire magic. Maybe that's why it doesn't affect you.'

To see if Matatabi's theory is right, Alex stops Natsu's fire punch with a bare hand, without any protection from his magic power. Wendy can heal him later if his experiment goes wrong, but surprisingly, it goes well.

He still can feel the heat from Natsu's fire, but he just knows that it's hot. It doesn't even burn his skin even though he can feel that it's hot. In fact, the intense heat actually feels comfortable in his hand, which feels strange.

"You certainly got stronger, Natsu, but still not enough to defeat me. Still, you impressed me, so let me show you something I've just got. I've never used this before, so it might be stronger than what I thought."

Alex let go of Natsu's fist that he holds with his right hand and puts his left palm in front of Natsu's chest. His Rinne-Sharingan's patterns rotate slightly, which is unnoticeable by anyone there. But some of them do realize some magic power gathers on Alex's left palm.

"Shinra Tensei!"

A strong pushing force is released from Alex's left palm, sending Natsu flying really fast to the sea behind. Natsu flies quite a distance before dropping and sliding on the water. It looks stronger than what Alex intended it to be seeing at how surprised he is.

".... He doesn't die, right?"

Fortunately, when Happy and Lily bring him back, Natsu is just knocked unconscious. His chest is also fine with no broken ribs despite the deep palm mark on it. It's a good thing that Natsu's body is unusually tough.

"Now, who's next?" Alex grins while looking at the others and taunting them with his fingers.

The boys look at each other before storming together toward Alex, only to get their asses kicked while getting some lectures. Not everyone rushes toward Alex though. The stronger members wait behind because they want to fight Alex 1 on 1.

"Alright, I'm next." Gajeel, Gray, Elfman, and Laxus say it at the same time. They all want to fight Alex 1 on 1 and they want to do it earlier than others because they want to fight Alex while he still has a lot of energy.

"Whoa, no need to fight over me, boys! I won't go anywhere."

The 4 of them do a rock-paper-scissor to decide who'll fight Alex first and the winner is Gray. Alex grins because he has known Gray the longest among everyone here. This will be a match with his fellow disciple of Ur house.
