Fairy Tail: Saint Seiya Magic Unleashed

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: Claiming the Quest Rewards

Chapter 32: Claiming the Quest Rewards

Though Jellal was only a year older than Moen, he was still just a teenager—and there was only so much he could handle.

It was out of a deep sense of conscience that he had left his homeland and come to Earthland. His goal was simple: do whatever he could to stop "Anima" from activating.

But his own strength was far too limited.

He couldn't change Edolas.

He couldn't stop the decisions made by his father—the king.

And he certainly couldn't resist the will of the so-called "gods."

What he'd done so far was already the limit of what he could manage.

He just wanted to ease the burden on his conscience, to protect as many lives in Earthland as he could.

But then Moen appeared.

And then Makarov.

Their sudden involvement blew open his entire worldview—like someone had just thrown open a door he never knew existed.

Maybe I was too closed off... too narrow-minded.

"Anima" was a spell that harmed the entire Earthland world.

Surely the strong here wouldn't stand for that, would they?

Jellal had always thought he had to face this alone.

But what if he didn't?

"So?"

"Can you do it—send us to your world?"

Moen waved a hand in front of Jellal's face, pulling him out of his thoughts.

Jellal blinked, then frowned apologetically.

"Not right now. I can't do it yet."

But he quickly added,

"But give me some time—I'll figure it out!"

Seeing the visible disappointment on both Moen and Makarov's faces, he hurried to reassure them.

Truth was, he had never once considered bringing someone else to Edolas. Naturally, he hadn't studied that side of the magic yet.

Interdimensional travel wasn't exactly easy, after all.

Moen and Makarov exchanged glances, then nodded.

"Fair enough."

"It's already impressive you made it this far."

As they walked, supporting the still-exhausted Jellal, Moen smiled and extended a hand.

"Join us, Jellal."

"Join Fairy Tail. Let it be your home in this world—just like it is for Grandmother Porlyusica."

Makarov smiled quietly on the side.

If Moen hadn't extended the invitation, he was about to do it himself.

This kid—willing to risk his life to stop Anima, out of nothing but a sense of justice—was absolutely Fairy Tail material.

"I... can I really?"

Jellal hesitated.

He wasn't even from this world—just a wanderer, a visitor.

And more importantly, he wouldn't be able to stick around. He'd constantly be chasing down traces of Anima.

"Why not?"

"Fairy Tail is a guild of freedom. You won't be restricted—you'll still be able to do what you need to do."

Moen grinned.

Joining Fairy Tail didn't mean you had to stay in the guild hall all day.

Just look at Gildarts—the man was almost never around, but no one doubted he was a proud Fairy Tail wizard.

And this was Anima they were talking about—a threat to the entire world.

Of course Fairy Tail would support Jellal's mission, not hinder it.

Jellal's resolve began to waver.

He was genuinely tempted.

"But Moen... I don't have any magic."

"I'm not really a wizard. Can I even join a wizard guild like this?"

Even now, Jellal hesitated.

But something in his eyes had already begun to change.

People from Edolas had no magic within their bodies.

No magic source, no natural mana flow.

They could only use magic through external magic tools.

At best, that made them magic item users—but definitely not real mages.

There was a fundamental difference between the two.

"Jellal, who told you you can't join a guild just because you don't have magic or can't cast spells?"

Moen shook his head, denying the logic completely.

"A successful guild doesn't bind people together with magic or mana—it's about companionship! About bonds! About trust among comrades!"

Moen looked straight into Jellal's eyes, his voice filled with passion as he shared Fairy Tail's true philosophy.

They were more than a magic guild.

They were a family.

Jellal stared at Moen, watching the pride, the certainty, and the deep warmth radiating from his eyes.

He didn't need to hear more.

He had already been moved.

Moved by Moen's words.

Moved by Moen's pride in his guild.

"I'd like to join."

Jellal cut him off mid-sentence, no longer needing a sales pitch.

He understood now.

Who said someone without magic wasn't worthy of joining a guild?

It's because they're comrades, that the guild exists.

Not because they have magic.

And for Jellal...

That was exactly what he'd been looking for.

A place to belong. A real home.

"Great! That means we're family now!"

Moen grinned from ear to ear and gave Jellal a hearty slap on the shoulder.

...which made poor Jellal wince in pain.

His body was still recovering, after all.

But Moen wasn't just excited because of the guild.

His Saint Seiya System had just responded—with a delightful surprise.

[Ding! Quest reward available. Claim now?]

Moen quickly pulled up the quest titled:

"A Guild is Where Comrades Gather!"

[Quest Progress]

✅ Invite Mystogan (Completed)

☐ Invite Wendy Marvell (Not yet completed)

[Quest Rewards]

Invite one of them: 🎁 Random Bronze Cloth (Available to claim)

Invite both: 🎁 Saint Cloth Repair Manual

So the rewards can be claimed separately?!

Moen's eyes lit up in joy.

In quests with multiple sub-goals and rewards, sometimes one tough challenge could bottleneck everything.

But now—being able to claim partial rewards—that was a godsend.

"Claim!"

Without hesitation, Moen selected the reward.

It would go straight into his system storage—quietly and cleanly.

No flashy appearance, no one around him would even notice—not Jellal, not Grandpa Makarov.
