Fate/Bastard First Simulation In Britain as Morgan's husband

Chapter 108: Fujimaru Ritsuka's Helicopter Crisis!

T/N: Hello guys came back abruptly again with another unexpected update.

Ah but enough about that I just wanted to tell you guys something.

.. it's just can I hope for a few reviews cause as you know I just speedrunned till chapter 100+ in a week of making this fanfic.

A Fanfic with 100+ chapters but only 2 reviews

If you exclude my shameless reviews.

Originally it had two more reviews but.

As I had made the rules

Reviews can only be accepted if you read upto chapter 20.

About those reviews deleted

The guy who made a review was a Chinese insta hater even suggesting me to rewrite the story completely and making it my own novel.

For me it felt sad. As not only did he only read upto only 3 chapter but also insult the original author

This author was the first author didn't make his protagonist name chinese.

And do those haters notice that this platform webnovel is a chinese company.

As the other reviewer it was about him commenting that there's other novel with 90+ chapters but since it's irrevelant now I deleted it.

So as last words please give this fanfic a deserving review.

.....

...

"Huh?"

Hearing Mordred's words, Ian was stunned for a moment, then quickly reacted.

"Wait."

"Are you saying that the one sitting in the helicopter's cockpit is a red-haired girl?"

"Yes!"

As if afraid of saying something wrong, after Mordred answered Ian, she looked in the same direction as before for a while.

"That's right—!"

"It's a red-haired girl!"

"..."

Ian had a bad feeling in his heart.

He looked at Mash and found that Mash was also looking at him.

He knew she had also reacted.

"Mash, do you think that girl... could be Fujimaru Ritsuka?"

"Maybe." Mash looked worried.

"After all, in the information I know..."

"Fujimaru Ritsuka is a red-haired girl."

"Did the information mention anything about her special driving skills?"

"No, it didn't."

Ian's throat moved.

His intuition told him that the helicopter situation was much more serious than it appeared.

Ian thought for a moment and said:

"Mash, I think we should find a way to stop the helicopter."

"Yes." Mash nodded. "Senpai, you're right."

"Then—"

Ian looked at the snowy sky.

Although he couldn't see the target Mordred mentioned, based on his absolute trust in her, he knew he didn't need to doubt what she saw.

After thinking again and again, Ian began to give orders:

"Mash, please go and inform the people at Chaldea. Maybe they'll need some emergency medical help."

"Okay, good!"

Mash, who received Ian's instructions, immediately took action.

Seeing her act according to his instructions, Ian said to Mordred beside him:

"It's snowing so heavily, can you provide guidance?"

"Guidance? What guidance?"

"For example, a light that can reach the sky, can you do that?"

"I happen to know how to do that!"

"Clarent!"

As Mordred shouted this, a silver blade shining with brilliant light appeared in her hand.

"Then—"

"I'm going to start!"

"Yes." Ian nodded.

After receiving permission, Mordred held her silver cross longsword with both hands.

Her eyes gradually changed from deep green to sea blue.

Ian could feel Mordred concentrating the magic power in her body on her Clarent.

He remembered that this behavior was called the "True Name Release" of a Noble Phantasm in the magician-related books brought by Ophelia.

However—

From the current situation, it seemed that it had not reached a complete release, but only a partial power increase to achieve the "brightness" condition.

With a buzz.

Clarent emitted a light that shot straight into the sky.

This was a phenomenon very similar to the True Name Release of Excalibur, but the color it emitted was closer to silver.

"Master, I did it!"

Mordred, holding Clarent with both hands, asked Ian for credit.

"Yes, very good." Ian nodded.

"Next, try to attract the attention of that helicopter!"

"Okay—!"

"I got it."

Mordred, who received the order, immediately took action.

She might not be very assertive, but she was very good at obeying orders.

Whirr whirr whirr—!

Under Mordred's control, Clarent began to sway above the sky of Chaldea.

The treasure of ancient Britain now functioned like a modern lighting tool.

From a distance, it looked like a lighthouse by the sea, trying to provide enough guidance for the returning helicopter.

It was snowing heavily.

Ian couldn't judge with his own eyes whether this guidance from the Noble Phantasm could be effective enough for Fujimaru Ritsuka's helicopter.

He asked Mordred about the situation.

"Mordred, is the helicopter coming over?"

"Let me see."

The blonde girl kept Clarent's output while looking in the direction she had just pointed.

"It seems to be still circling."

"Didn't it see your light?" Ian made his own judgment.

"I don't know."

"Then in that case—"

Ian made up his mind.

"Mordred, make the light emitted by Clarent brighter."

"This..."

Mordred looked hesitant.

"I don't mind."

"But if this goes on, you'll have to use your magic power, is that okay?"

"Don't worry."

Ian looked at Mordred, his expression full of confidence.

"Your father is not the kind of person who will fall down easily."

"..."

Mordred stopped talking.

She just held Clarent in her hand a little tighter.

The light pouring out of the Noble Phantasm became stronger and stronger, and the sky seemed to be illuminated a lot.

The snow fell in the white light, stained with an extraordinary silver glow.

Ian could feel Mordred drawing magic power from his body.

But he also confirmed that this magic power used had become the key to Clarent's effectiveness.

He could withstand this consumption.

"Is there a response this time?"

Ian asked again.

"Yes."

After a brief observation, Mordred answered directly.

However, she soon looked surprised.

"But the situation doesn't seem right!"

"Not right?!"

"Yes!"

Mordred looked ahead.

"It seems to be rushing towards us!"

"What?!"

As Mordred said this, Ian also saw something.

In the heavy snow, a helicopter appeared, swaying.

And in the cockpit position, there was a red-haired girl.

Although it was the first time they met, the previous information exchange was enough to confirm that she was Fujimaru Ritsuka.

Why was she flying a helicopter?

Was this something a Master candidate should learn?

Ian couldn't understand this kind of thing at all.

But now was obviously not the time to consider this issue.

Because even he could feel Fujimaru Ritsuka's helplessness at this moment.

"Mordred, are there other people on the helicopter?"

"Yes." Mordred nodded.

"There are many people dressed like the brothers and sisters in the Chaldea base."

"But..."

"But?!"

"But they all seem to be unconscious, only the red-haired girl is still twisting something."

"..."

Looking at the approaching helicopter, Ian realized that something unexpected must have happened on it.

The most urgent task was to stop it!

But—

How to stop it?

Ian's brain began to think quickly.

Soon, his eyes fell on a nearby mountain peak.

Years of wind had covered it with snow, like a thick white quilt, covering the mountain itself.

"..."

"Mordred!" Ian shouted, "Can you cut down the mountain over there?"

"No problem."

Mordred answered Ian.

"As long as your magic power supply is sufficient, I can do anything."

"Very good, then let's start!"

As Ian said this, Clarent no longer just stayed at the level of emitting light.

Particles condensed and turned into a very strong entity.

This was what Mordred was proud of, a slash that could be achieved when Clarent's True Name was released.

Its hardness was far above the mountain wind, and the common metals in this world could not achieve the wish to fight against it.

But correspondingly, Ian could also feel that the magic power in his body was being absorbed by Mordred in large quantities.

However—

It was still within acceptable limits!

The gorgeous slash fell from the sky and slashed on the mountain peak that Ian had previously designated for Mordred.

With a loud bang.

The blade formed by magic power collided fiercely with the stone.

The latter was an absolute defeat in terms of hardness.

The mountain peak staggered and rolled down with the accumulated snow.

Ian looked at this scene with a solemn expression.

His plan was actually very extreme—to use enough snow to stop the helicopter that was obviously not right.

Of course.

Since it was said to be extreme, this process would definitely not be as safe as imagined.

Ian looked at the gradually falling helicopter, hoping that this only way he could think of in a short time could help her.

The snow gradually poured down.

"Mordred, retreat."

While saying this, Ian pulled the hand of Mash, who was shocked by the scene in front of him, and the three retreated to a safe enough position.

"Senpai, this is..."

"There's something wrong with that helicopter, Mash."

Ian looked at the snow wave in front of him.

"This is all we can do. I hope she can save herself."

At the same time, on the helicopter.

Fujimaru Ritsuka was holding tightly to the only place in the cockpit where she could control the direction.

To be honest—

She didn't really know how to control this behemoth.

She was just supporting the situation with something like "the instinct to survive."

Fortunately, her "instinct" was useful enough.

Unfortunately, the useful parts were almost used up.

However—

There seemed to be a new opportunity.

Just now, something made a loud bang, and then a nearby mountain peak was cut off.

Looking at the snow that rushed out, Fujimaru Ritsuka also had some vague ideas in her mind.

Compared to crashing directly on the ground or mountain, being rolled into the snow would be safer because of the buffer.

Although it might not be much better.

But—

As long as there was a chance, she had to try!

Maybe she had that kind of luck!

Fujimaru Ritsuka concentrated all her attention and tried to make the helicopter operate according to her ideas.

She felt very confident about this, thinking that things were developing as she thought.

But it wasn't.

For her, being able to control this helicopter like before was already a miracle.

Not to mention making it crash land!

However—

Although Fujimaru Ritsuka didn't have the ability to control the helicopter, she had the luck to survive.

Under her "control," the helicopter smoothly landed on the "platform" piled up with snow from the mountain peak at an extremely strange angle, instead of crashing directly on the ground.

After rolling back and forth in the snow for several laps, the helicopter finally stopped with a body full of white.

Of course.

Fujimaru Ritsuka also bumped into the helicopter many times.

"Saved..."

Fujimaru Ritsuka muttered this.

In the last moment before fainting, she saw a tall man running towards her.

The next moment, she felt herself being picked up.

Some time later.

In the Chaldea medical room.

Fujimaru Ritsuka's body trembled, and then she slowly opened her eyes.

Looking at the unfamiliar pure white ceiling, she couldn't help but mutter in a low voice.

"Where am I?"

"Heaven?"

In less than a second, an unfamiliar response came.

"You're in the medical room, Miss Fujimaru Ritsuka."

"Not heaven."

"Eh?!"

Hearing someone answer her, Fujimaru Ritsuka wanted to sit up.

But then, the pain from all over her body instantly dispelled this thought.

"It hurts like hell!"

"That's for sure."

A head appeared above the shouting Fujimaru Ritsuka.

"Multiple soft tissue contusions all over your body, broken hand bones, and mild concussion."

"Miss Fujimaru Ritsuka, the best thing you can do now is lie here and not move."

"You..."

Fujimaru Ritsuka was about to explode, but found that the man in front of her looked a little familiar.

"Eh?!"

"Aren't you the one who ran over and picked me up at that time?"

"Oh?" The man looked surprised.

"You remember."

"It seems that the memory is not too bad."

"Then you are..."

Fujimaru Ritsuka looked friendly and confused.

"I'm Ian Pendragon." The man introduced himself.

"Currently a member of Chaldea Master Candidate Team A."

"Chaldea?!"

"This is Chaldea?!"

Fujimaru Ritsuka looked excited.

"Wow!"

"Did I really make it here?!"

"Yes."

The man forced a smile.

"You succeeded."

"But although it may spoil the current atmosphere, I still want to ask Miss Fujimaru Ritsuka a question."

"What question?"

"Why did you fly the helicopter yourself? Didn't Chaldea send someone to pick you up?"

Speaking of this, Fujimaru Ritsuka also became excited.

"I want to know too!"

"They clearly said they would safely send me to Chaldea!"

"But before we arrived, they fell unconscious one by one!"

"I had to do it myself!"
