Not long after their match against Atletico Madrid, the Chelsea players returned to London.

During this period, despite Chelsea's packed schedule, they've managed to win every game.

Now, their next opponent is Manchester City!

In the current Premier League standings, Chelsea has won all six games, placing them in first, while Manchester City trails closely with five wins and one draw. This puts them only two points behind.

If Manchester City can beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, they'll overtake them in the standings.

This Premier League showdown is crucial for both teams!

October 1st – Match Day

The coaches of these two teams are among the best in the Premier League, and indeed, in the world. Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, is often considered one of the highest-caliber managers in the game.

But, when asked about the match, Guardiola was cautious.

"Chelsea performed exceptionally last season. Without a doubt, they're the best team in the Premier League. They've kept up their strong form from last season," he admitted.

"Winning at Stamford Bridge will be challenging, but I believe every Manchester City player is prepared. We have the potential to make something special happen here!"

Chelsea's coach, Conte, also shared his thoughts in a pre-game interview, echoing some of Guardiola's sentiment and showing respect for their opponents.

"Manchester City is a team with exceptional control. Honestly, it's a challenge facing such a disciplined squad," Conte said. "But, I believe Chelsea is more than capable of defending our honor at home."

"And let's not forget—Su Luo is in our lineup, and he's ready to shine tonight!"

8:00 PM – Stamford Bridge Stadium

The stands at Stamford Bridge were filled long before kickoff. Chelsea fans, already singing team chants, were there to inspire their players.

In the studio, commentator Zhan Jun began announcing the starting lineups.

"Welcome, everyone, to this Premier League showdown—Chelsea vs. Manchester City!"

"Now, let's take a look at the starting lineups!"

"First up, the home side, Chelsea."

"Coach Conte has opted for a 3-5-2 formation to take on Manchester City."

"The lineup is as follows: In goal, Thibaut Courtois."

"Three center-backs: Rudiger, Christensen, and Gary Cahill."

"Five midfielders: Azpilicueta, Kante, Bakayoko, Fabregas, and Marcos Alonso."

"And two forwards: Hazard and Su Luo!"

"Yes, in tonight's match, neither Morata nor Lukaku are in the starting lineup. Instead, Hazard, who recently returned from injury, is taking the field!"

"If all goes well, Hazard should be in solid form. Otherwise, Conte wouldn't have risked starting him in such a critical match!"
