"So what?" she huffed, trying to change the subject.

"So… well, Bai Yu's actually a really good guy," Nami replied with a small smile.

"He treats us well. Sure, he has a few minor… quirks."

"He has some special hobbies, though. He likes to bring beautiful women on board and spend all day with them."

"Guess what he's going to do in a few days?"

Makino chuckled softly.

"Little girl, what are you talking about? How old are you, getting ideas like that?"

"No, no! That's not what I meant—" Nami waved her hands, blushing.

"I just mean… he's a normal man. Could be tonight, could be tomorrow night—I don't know!"

"Nami's right… sooner or later, he'll make a move. Right?"

Nojiko's mouth fell open.

"And people have been pressuring me to get married lately. If I hadn't boarded this ship, I might have had a child in two years…"

She trailed off, a bittersweet smile crossing her lips.

"Are you waiting to have my big brother's child?" Nami teased playfully.

Makino blinked, confused.

"Big brother?"

"She means Bai Yu," Nojiko clarified with a sigh.

Makino's cheeks turned pink.

Well, I'm not that old… and I'm still a maiden, after all.

"Anyway, that's not the point!" Nami clapped her hands together, refocusing.

"The important thing is that Bai Yu has helped us a lot, and it's only fair to repay him… starting with his hobbies."

A mischievous grin spread across her face as she steered the cloud lower.

"Come on, let's go raid the Marine fleet and snatch a few beauties. Then we'll make a run for it—hee hee!"

Makino's eyes widened in fascination.

He prepared to fly over—

"If you touch her—"

Bai Yu's cold voice echoed across the battlefield.

"—I'll kill every Marine in the East Blue. And I mean it."

"You… damn pirate!"

Smoker's body erupted in smoke as he seethed with rage.

"You think other people's lives don't matter?!"

Bai Yu scoffed.

"Oh, I'm sorry. To me, anyone who isn't one of my people… isn't even human."

Hawkeye: …
