Forever yours(The love we keep)

It was a typical Friday morning in Mrs. Johnson's English class. Ethan and Charlotte were sitting together, as they often did, and were supposed to be working on a group project.

But as they sat there, pouring over their notes and discussing their ideas, Ethan couldn't help but steal glances at Charlotte. She was looking particularly beautiful that day, with her hair tied back in a ponytail and a bright smile on her face.

As they worked, Ethan found himself getting closer and closer to Charlotte, their legs touching under the table. It was a subtle touch, but it sent shivers down Ethan's spine.

Charlotte seemed to feel it too, because she looked up at him with a flush on her cheeks. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable.

But then, Mrs. Johnson's voice cut through the air. "Alright, class. Time to review your projects."

As Mrs. Johnson walked around the room, Ethan and Charlotte quickly scrambled to separate themselves, trying to play it cool. But Mrs. Johnson was no fool.

She raised an eyebrow as she looked at them. "Ethan, Charlotte. Care to explain why you two are sitting so...cozily?"

Ethan's face went bright red as he stuttered out an explanation. Charlotte just looked down at her feet, a smile playing on her lips.

Mrs. Johnson looked at them skeptically, but eventually moved on to the next group. As soon as she was out of earshot, Ethan turned to Charlotte and whispered, "Sorry about that."

Charlotte just grinned mischievously. "No need to apologize," she whispered back. "I kind of liked it."

Ethan's heart skipped a beat. What did she mean by that?

As the class continued, Ethan couldn't help but sneak glances at Charlotte, wondering what she was thinking. Were they just friends, or was something more brewing between them?

Only time would tell.
