Forsaken Bloodline

Chapter 16: The Hunt for the Truth

The battlefield was drowning in chaos.

The Royal Army and the Superhuman Gangsters clashed like monsters of war, tearing through steel and flesh alike.

Explosions shook the school. Blood splattered across the concrete.

But Julian didn't move.

He stood frozen, staring at Suzy's lifeless body.

And one name echoed in his mind—

Julial.

His twin. The brother he didn't even know existed.

The one hiding in the shadows.

The one who had killed Suzy.

Breaking Through the Chaos

Julian clenched his fists.

He needed to find Julial.

But first—he needed to survive this war.

A blur of motion.

A Royal Soldier lunged at him, sword gleaming.

Julian dodged effortlessly, twisting behind the man.

A single palm strike—CRACK.

The soldier collapsed, unconscious.

Another fighter came. Then another.

Julian moved like a ghost, dodging, weaving, countering.

He was barely trying.

He wasn't here for them.

His mind was locked on one thing—finding his twin.

Noah's Warning

A familiar voice shouted over the battle.

"Julian!"

Noah, Rank #3 Masterclass, landed beside him, panting. His fists were covered in blood, his shirt torn.

"You need to get out of here," Noah growled. "The Royal Army's after you."

Julian's eyes narrowed. "Why?"

Noah hesitated.

"Because some of them think you killed Suzy."

Julian's blood ran cold.

"That's ridiculous," he hissed.

Noah grabbed his arm. "It doesn't matter. They're blinded by revenge. If they catch you, you're dead."

Julian ripped his arm away. "Let them come. I have bigger problems."

Noah scowled. "Julian—"

But Julian was already walking away.

He had a killer to find.

A Dark Trail

Julian disappeared into the shadows, slipping through the battlefield unnoticed.

He followed the only clue he had—his own memories.

Suzy had been attacked in an alley.

A black knife.

A figure in the darkness.

Julian knew this school inside and out. There was only one place where someone like Julial could hide—

The Forbidden Basement.

The Forbidden Basement

Deep beneath the school, there was a sealed-off underground level.

No one dared to go there.

It was where experiments were done.

Where the missing students were never seen again.

Julian kicked open the rusted door, stepping into the darkness.

The air was thick with the scent of blood.

And then—he saw it.

A row of capsules, filled with floating bodies.

Students.

Some were dead. Some were barely alive.

And standing in the middle of it all—

A familiar figure.

Julian's heart stopped.

It was himself.

No—

It was Julial.

His long-lost twin.

The mastermind behind the drugs.

The one who had killed Suzy.

A Meeting of Twins

Julial turned, his cold, silver eyes meeting Julian's.

A slow smile spread across his face.

"Finally," he whispered. "You found me."

Julian clenched his fists. "You killed her."

Julial's smile didn't fade.

"Maybe I did."

Julian lunged.

But before he could reach him—

Julial vanished.

A gust of wind, a blur of motion.

Then—Julian felt arms wrap around him from behind.

A gentle hug.

And a whisper in his ear.

"Welcome home, brother."
