“From Blocks to Spells:The Alchemy Professor Who Redefined Hogwards”

Chapter 1: CH 1

"Mr. Kesensis, you are suspected of violating the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy. Please come with us."

Kaysen had just used the dark oak planks in his hand to lay the floor in the room when he heard such a cold, inhumane voice.

"Forehead…"

Kaysen raised his head and looked at the security door in front of him, then back at the strange man in odd clothing, holding a small wooden stick in his hand…

"Did you climb up through the window? To be honest, it's not safe. You can just knock on the door and I will open it for you. Of course, I don't object if you're robbing me… Do you need this watch?"

"It might be worth a thousand or two thousand pounds, but you can't take my phone or wallet because it's a long way from my house. You know, my commute to do whole-house customization is just as annoying as your commute to rob."

As he spoke, he also took off the elegant mechanical watch on his hand. In fact, it should not be worth one or two thousand pounds. He just felt that a robber who went out to rob in pajamas should not have the appreciation skills.

"Enough! Mr. Kesensis, I repeat, you are now suspected of violating the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy. I am an employee of the Improper Use of Magic Office under the Ministry of Magic. You can call me Auror Lester. Please come with me now."

Lester took out his wand and pointed it at Kaysen.

"Oh… do you need me to call your family? Or St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries?"

"Sir, you don't need to pretend to be stupid. We all know what it's like now. Trust me, you don't want the Hit Wizards or Aurors higher up to come for you."

Lester took a step forward slowly.

"…I'm sorry, I still don't understand, what is an Auror, what are Hit Wizards, and what is… the Ministry of Magic?"

"Oh my God, I look so good… passed out!"

Kaysen raised his hand and instantly a two-meter-high stone pillar appeared in front of him, blocking the flying Stupefy spell.

At the same time, Lester finally showed a smile: "You still said you don't know magic? You finally showed your true colors!"

Peng!

A shrunken anvil suddenly appeared on his head, knocking him unconscious.

"I'm sorry, sir, I hope you can forget everything that just happened," Kaysen said as the obsidian cube floating in his hand suddenly turned into a wooden stick about thirty centimeters long.

"No, no, no, it doesn't feel powerful enough. Logs are just right."

The next moment, a solid log block was summoned, floating and flying at his command.

With a thud.

Another ball of dark blue liquid appeared in his hand and splashed directly on Lester's face.

"Kaysen—"

Boom!

"Not Obliviate, huh? Isn't it strong enough?"

He replaced the log with a rough stone, and there was another bang.

"How dare you attack a Ministry of Magic employee, you—"

The cube in his hand changed one form after another, from logs to rough stones. He thought this was powerful enough, but this unlucky employee was guarding the memory of his three-acre land…

Finally, he took out the anvil and decided to give it a serious blow.

"Ahem, I think this is unnecessary. What do you think, Mr. Heath?"

Today was the most magical day in Kaysen Heath's life—or maybe the second.

The last time he had such a magical day was when he first traveled to this world. At the time, he was playing "Minecraft" while the audiobook of "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" played in the background. Then his computer shut down unexpectedly, and just like that, he arrived.

And he didn't come empty-handed. With him came a peculiar Minecraft-inspired system: one that could absorb positive emotions—such as trust, satisfaction, and admiration—from others to level up.

When materialized into reality, it became blocks. Whether it was a stick, a wooden plank, or even a block of water, he could summon it directly from his hand and affect the real world.

Although his abilities weren't as limitless as Minecraft's original Creative Mode, they were enough to get by in England's bustling "Iron Jungle." For instance, opening a whole-house customization studio.

Everything that happened today couldn't entirely be blamed on him, though.

If the Ministry of Magic employee had been clearer—if he'd said something like, "Where's your wand?" or even "Do you know Hogwarts?"—Kaysen might have understood.

Instead, Kaysen had casually summoned a log block and two staircase blocks in the middle of the room as impromptu tables and chairs.

The old man with the white beard sitting opposite him… well, he recognized him. After all, in the first Harry Potter movie, he appeared on a dark street, holding a magical lighter that absorbed light.

At this moment, Albus Dumbledore looked curiously at the staircase block under his seat and the log cube in front of him.

"Is this alchemy? In any case, it's certainly not a transfiguration spell, but I must sincerely commend your innovative spell-casting method."

Kaysen felt very awkward. The old man in front of him showed no hostility and was even too friendly. This made him embarrassed to pull anything too nasty, though he wasn't sure if he could succeed anyway.

Still, he could give it a try. What was there to fear from an old man with a magical lighter?

Just as he was about to quietly drop an anvil on Dumbledore's head, the old man spoke.

"I don't have Lester's good reflexes. To be honest, if an anvil hit me, it might actually kill me."

Kaysen nodded in agreement and swapped the anvil for a wooden plank.

"…Oh, I'm sorry. I thought you didn't notice." He reabsorbed the wooden block like nothing had happened.

"This spellcasting method is unlike anything I've seen before. These small squares seem to share their essence with your magic. It seems you're a natural alchemist, able to transform and create freely.

If Nicolas Flamel knew about your existence, he wouldn't be able to rest peacefully. He might even want to greet Death a bit earlier."

Dumbledore chuckled softly, watching Kaysen's increasingly bewildered expression.

"Thanks…"

"And what about you, Mr. Kesensis? Would you mind telling me a little about yourself?"

"I am…"

He hesitated and then bit the bullet. "I'm… a wizard. I've been in Sweden before, and I just came to England recently. So I don't know much about the rules here…"
