From Douluo Dalu Angel Becomes God Almighty of LOTM

Chapter 10: Chapter 9: Making Dugu Bo Submit

Within the serene depths of her spirit sea, Qian Renxue hovered, surrounded by the faint glow of the newly formed Ice and Fire Seal—the sigil with twin elemental power was spinning slowly in the spiritual void, suppressing the chaotic core deep within.

Electrolux's voice, though wearied, still carried authority.

"Renxue… the seal may hold for twenty years… but that's only an estimation. The seed hasn't awakened,it simply… is isolated. Be vigilant."

Qian Renxue and Electrolux had a simple introduction of each other when Qian Daoliu was carrying them to Sunset forest, where he explained that he was a remnant soul of his previous vast self.

His voice trembled with exhaustion. The ethereal figure of the ancient necromancer appeared beside her—half-shadowed, half-light, cloaked in silver mist. His silhouette flickered.

"I've exhausted too much mental energy weaving that seal. I will now enter sleep… Do not wake me unless necessary."

And with that, his presence faded into mist, retreating deeper into her spiritual core. In his place, a gray silhouette calm, formless, like a passive echo floated quietly in her spirit sea. The place, which moments before had been alive with roars and storms, now hummed with peace.

Qian Renxue sighed in relief for the first time since she arrived in this world.

After her chaotic reincarnation, the overwhelming power of an ancient god whispering madness into her ears, and the constant vigilance required to not crumble beneath the pressure it finally felt like she could breathe.

She turned to gaze at the Ice and Fire Seal, its glow like a beacon separating her consciousness from the roiling chaos of the Almighty God's power.

She felt calm.

Her golden eyes slowly opened.

The cold mist of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well greeted her once more. She blinked once, twice, and immediately caught the gaze of Qian Daoliu, whose eyes were filled with barely concealed worry.

"Renxue…" he muttered, kneeling beside her, one hand gripping her shoulder, checking her soul fluctuations like a concerned parent.

"I'm alright, Grandpa," she whispered, voice steadier than before. "I feel good now."

Qian Daoliu exhaled in relief, his towering figure visibly relaxing.

On the other side, Yue Guan and Dugu Bo looked as if they had seen ghosts.

They had felt it and seen it with their own eyes.

The mighty resonance of two ancient, divine soul fragments being extracted from the well. Even if they couldn't identify the source or fully comprehend what had occurred, their instincts screamed at them: Something beyond their understanding had just taken place.

That it had all happened at the hands of a young girl only made the scene more terrifying.

Especially to Dugu Bo.

He stared at Qian Renxue with wide eyes, green pupils trembling slightly. "What… what did you just do? Those were… dragons… divine souls… Did you absorb them?"

His voice was filled with disbelief and a hint of fear.

Qian Renxue smiled faintly. Not kindly, but coolly, not like someone who had just been reborn from the edge of destruction.

"I didn't absorb them," she replied calmly. "I used them."

"You used… two ancient dragon souls?" Yue Guan repeated in shock.

She ignored him and turned to Dugu Bo.

"You want to keep this place, don't you?"

Dugu Bo froze.

"This Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well has been keeping you alive," she said, walking toward him slowly. "Without it, your poison would eat through your marrow, your soul, and even your descendants."

"You—" Dugu Bo's expression twisted. "What are you implying?"

"I'm offering you a choice," Qian Renxue said. "Your poison, it can be cured."

His pupils dilated.

"Your martial soul's flaw, the lack of a venom sac, I can help you compensate for it. You will be free."

"…You're bluffing," Dugu Bo spat.

But Qian Renxue didn't flinch.

"I'm not. Even if you don't understand it, you do feel it with the condition of your body. You don't think this well is enough to suppress your poison forever. It's only delaying the inevitable."

Dugu Bo didn't speak.

Silence stretched for a long moment.

And then Qian Renxue said the words that changed everything.

"Join me. Submit to me, and I'll give you what you've searched for your whole life ,freedom from the poison. Become my shadow, and live longer than any Serpent Emperor in history."

Dugu Bo's knees trembled slightly. His fists clenched, then relaxed.

He understood that he has seen an unknown secret today, there is a small probability he will be allowed to leave today, if he did not join them. Afterall Dead men tell no tales.

"Hmph. Drawing pies in the sky, are we? Talking about curing my poison like it's nothing…"

He slowly knelt down unwillingly, but sincerely. His pride as a Titled Douluo screamed in protest, but the hope the sliver of salvation she had dangled before him was too much to ignore.

Dugu Bo looked up at Qian Renxue, eyes flashing with a mix of sarcasm and bitterness.

"If you can really cure my granddaughter—Dugu Yan—if you can free her from this accursed venom in her bloodline…" His voice caught for a moment.

"Then forget my life—I'll offer you my soul."

There was a long pause. A heavy silence hung in the Yin Yang Well.

Qian Renxue's expression softened, just a touch. She looked at the old man, his green hair trembling faintly with the flow of spirit energy, and exhaled lightly.

"Your loyalty won't go to waste."

She turned her gaze toward the glowing mist that hovered above the center of the spring. Her mind moved rapidly, like a strategist on a battlefield.

'The Dugu family's poison comes from the flawed evolution of their Jade Phosphor Serpent. It lacks the venom sac needed to contain the toxin... But it can be countered.'

She had gone through the Record of Immortal Herbs, a book she'd received from Elder Yue Guan (Chrysanthemum Douluo). She had studied it well no, memorized it. And from her earlier scan of the Yin Yang Well, she knew that at least two of the listed herbs were present here both capable of neutralizing or redirecting the serpentine poison.

'The Land Dragon Golden melon and the Jade Bone Ice Grass. One can enhance the origin of martial soul making it evolve while the other acts as a pseudo-venom sac to stabilize the martial spirit's foundation.'

Two herbs.

That was all it would take to rewrite the fate of a once-proud martial lineage.

Two immortal herbs—to buy the absolute loyalty of Poison Douluo, who can change the direction of the war.

It was an optimal trade. Especially since she knew exactly what Dugu Bo's value was.

He might be called the weakest Titled Douluo in the world, but poison knew no hierarchy. Even peerless geniuses could fall in silence if they underestimated a drop of toxin. Dugu Bo couldn't win battles of strength—but he could ensure no one else survived them.

'He might not win... but he'll make sure the enemy's Titled Douluos are all that's left. And by then, it's already too late for them.'

Qian Renxue gave her affirmation aloud, her voice cutting through the mist like crystal.

"I will provide a cure for your granddaughter, Dugu Yan, once I stabilize my cultivation. Then… I'll uproot the curse that has haunted your bloodline."

Dugu Bo's lips parted. For a moment, the old man trembled barely but it was there.

The bitterness in his heart cracked.

This day Qian Renxue received a loyal Titled Douluo.
