Chapter 5: Chapter 4: Electrolux Comes from the Sky
Electrolux , an Archmage of necromancy, teacher of generations, a will that defied death itself was considered one of the golden fingers of Douluo Dalu 2's protagonist, Huo Yuhao.
A wandering remnant soul drifting between worlds, his sudden appearance was hailed as a miracle. Coincidence, some called it, when he descended upon the world just as Tianmeng Ice Silkworm evolved into a wisdom soul ring and bound itself to Huo Yuhao in Douluo Dalu 2. But in this cosmos, where gods meddled in mortal lives and luck was currency of fate, there were no coincidences.
Electrolux's descent was no accident. This time his descent was accelerated by 10,000 years.
At the exact moment when Qian Renxue collapsed to her knees, her hands pressed against her ears, her body trembling from the maddening whispers echoing within her spirit sea, that was when the sky wept light.
Clouds above the Spirit Hall churned, turning violet-black, seared with flickers of gold. Thunder rumbled like the tolling of a divine bell, and space itself trembled. A jagged crack tore through the sky, revealing the vastness of the void beyond realms. From within it descended a flickering soul flame, aged, noble, and full of ancient wisdom.
The remnant soul of Electrolux.
Drawn like a moth to an impossibly radiant flame, he plunged down and pierced through layers of soul power barriers of Spirit Hall until he landed in the Spirit sea ,of Qian Renxue.
For a moment, he hovered in her spirit sea, coalescing into a ghostly image robed in light and shadow. His voice echoed with the weight of ages:
"With these hands, I grasp the sun and moon… and snatch the stars from the sky."
It was the phrase he always said, the declaration of a man who once defied fate itself.
But the instant he truly saw where he was… the illusion of control shattered.
"…This place… this is not a mortal's spirit sea."
A divine storm raged around him. Countless eyes blinked open within the darkness—some human, some bestial, some utterly alien. Currents of chaos surged like black stars in motion. The sea beneath him was not water, not ether—it was Chaos. The very concept of reality unraveled at the edges, and yet it was contained within this girl's soul.
"…What have I entered?" he whispered.
In all his lifetime, in his world, even in the void between realms, he had never encountered a place more terrifying than this, which made him fell fear from the depth of his heart. He, who did not even fear death itself.
And yet… at its center was Qian Renxue, her purple eyes dimly glowing turning goli, her body shuddering.
"the Seed of Sephiroth… the Chaos Sea…?" she whispered again, her voice overlapping with echoes of ancient tongues.
Electrolux realized in that moment: the weirdness of the girl ,who seemed to be touched by something beyond fate.
But Electrolux, drifting like a ghost within her spirit sea, felt it in the marrow of his soul those were not her words.
They came from within her.
From something else that stirred beneath the chaotic tides, a being, or perhaps an echo, ancient enough to predate gods, yet newborn in its slumber.
"…No," he muttered, his eyes wide with grim realization. "This is no possession. This… is incarnation."
He looked upon her and saw the storm turning inward. The shadows of Sephiroth, the primordial chaos of the abyssal sea, churned like black fire threatening to consume her consciousness.
"If I don't act now… she'll be devoured."
For a moment, hesitation flickered across his spectral form. He was but a remnant soul, fragmented and eroded by time, holding onto existence through will alone. His next act would mean oblivion.
'But even remnants of men can still choose.'
Clenching the last shards of divine power he once commanded as a Grand Necromancer, Electrolux roared into the maelstrom.
"Let there be silence!"
A dome of spectral light erupted, folding reality inward. With intricate runes forged from his knowledge of ten thousand worlds, he isolated the origin of the whispers, shielding Renxue's mind.
The chaos fought back. The voices screamed, demanding to be heard. Electrolux bled soul essence with every passing moment.
"Damn it… girl…" His voice trembled with strain, "Wake up!"
The spirit sea shook as his roar echoed through her consciousness.
"I can only do this for a day… Before I'm gone… completely!"
His words struck something in her, like a bell ringing across time.
It's as if power pulsed in Qian Renxue's purple eyes once, then exploded outward like dawn breaking over a world consumed by night.
She gasped.
Her eyes cleared.
She entered her Spirit Sea for the first time, then she saw Electrolux who was and felt, ancient, defiant kneeling within her spirit sea, glowing faintly like a candle in a typhoon trying to stop an inevitability.
