Genshin Impact: I Can Obtain Adventure EXP

Chapter 379: Chapter 379: Inazuma City

As Nolan made his choice, two of the three options disappeared, leaving only the "Soul Rank" option, which turned into a streak of light and merged into his body.

In that moment, Nolan sensed the existence of a mysterious force called "spiritual energy."

This energy was born from living beings' recognition of the stories and legends of others. However, unlike faith, it was devoid of personal emotions or subjective thoughts. It was pure and enigmatic.

Nolan could now feel traces of this pure "spiritual energy" being slowly gathered by a phantom-like "Soul Rank" in his mind.

As this spiritual energy accumulated, the ethereal "Soul Rank" gradually began to take on a tangible form.

At this rate, he estimated it would take about a day to fully fill the "Soul Rank." Once complete, it could be used to grant himself or others unique enhancements.

As for the source of this spiritual energy, Nolan already had an idea.

The primary sources were his deeds in Mondstadt and Liyue: driving away Stormterror and defeating Osial. These two events were widely recognized by the citizens of both nations, earning him significant amounts of spiritual energy.

Previously, Nolan had no means to make use of this energy, but now, with the "Soul Rank," it was being collected.

He wondered just how many times the spiritual energy he had accumulated in the past would allow him to fill the "Soul Rank."

Feeling a touch of anticipation, Nolan glanced briefly at his character panel, which had undergone some significant updates:

Adventure EXP: 1,599

Not even close to 2,000. Nolan stared at his Adventure EXP with mild frustration. It seemed like he needed to work hard to grind for more Adventure EXP—slacking off wasn't an option.

Fortunately, Lumine's Sword God was still over in the Abyss. Even if the number of monsters there wasn't as plentiful as he'd hoped, they should still outnumber and outperform the creatures in Teyvat.

Whenever he had free time, he could control Lumine's Sword God to explore the Abyss more thoroughly.

Doing so should allow him to farm Adventure EXP much faster than in Teyvat.

Just then, a commotion outside the house caught his attention. With a quick sweep of his mental energy, he sensed Fischl, Mona, and the others returning with various instruments and equipment for setting up the research zone.

Most of these were likely items that Lisa and Sucrose needed. Mona's laboratory had already been prepared long ago.

"Foolish attendent, I know you're inside! Why haven't you come out to help already?"

In the courtyard, Fischl, sensing Nolan's presence in the house, immediately put her hands on her hips and shouted unceremoniously.

"Alright, I'm coming," Nolan replied with a smile.

He stepped into the front yard, opened a large gateway to the "Wonderland," and used semi-transparent threads to move all the equipment and instruments the girls had bought into the space in one go.

Then, the girls entered the "Wonderland" as well, preparing to call Lumine back.

Her Geo powers were needed to assist with construction in the Wonderland.

Since that was the case, Nolan decided to teleport back to Inazuma first. If Lumine returned, Paimon would undoubtedly follow, and if he didn't head back in advance, he wouldn't be able to use "Interstellar Travel" to return to that location.

Inazuma, Byakko Plain

It was late afternoon, close to dusk. The sunlight was gentle, casting a warm glow over the verdant green grass.

Nolan suddenly appeared beside Lumine, startling Yoimiya.

"Why do you always appear so suddenly without a sound? Just like when you left earlier," Yoimiya exclaimed, slightly wide-eyed, as she continued walking and introducing Lumine and Paimon to Inazuma's culture.

"It's spatial teleportation—it's always like that," Nolan replied with a smile. "By the way, Lumine and Paimon will need to head back into my portable space soon to assist with construction. Yoimiya, you should take a break as well."

"Huh? But if they leave, wouldn't that mean you'll be traveling alone?"

Yoimiya blinked in surprise, then quickly shook her head and said, "That won't do. As your guide in Inazuma, how could I let you travel alone? That would be completely irresponsible. I'll stick with you!"

"Well, if you insist, that's fine too," Nolan agreed with a nod.

"Hehe, alright, Yoimiya, we'll see you later then," Paimon said, waving at Yoimiya before flying into a starry spatial rift casually opened by Nolan.

Lumine also waved briefly to say goodbye to Yoimiya before stepping into the rift.

"Got it!" Yoimiya replied, her fair and radiant face lighting up with a sunny smile.

With Lumine and Paimon back in the "Wonderland," only Nolan and Yoimiya remained to continue the journey. After some thought, Nolan turned to the girl walking beside him and asked:

"Yoimiya, based on our current pace, how long do you think it'll take us to reach Inazuma City?"

"Hmm…" Yoimiya pressed a soft fingertip to her lips, pondering for a moment before replying, "We left Konda Village about a day ago, so it'll probably take another ten days or so."

As she spoke, she lowered her hand, which shifted slightly against the white bandages wrapped around her side. The subtle motion revealed glimpses of her fair skin, highlighting the delicate lines between her arms and her chest.

"Ten days, huh? That's a bit too long. How about we try a faster way? I'm confident we could reach Inazuma City by the end of the day," Nolan suggested after a moment of thought.

"Today?! That's impossible!" Yoimiya instinctively replied, a little skeptical.

But then she remembered that Nolan had a portable space and could teleport, and she realized he might not be joking after all.

"So, should we give it a try? A quick 'whoosh,' and we'll be there!" Nolan said with a smile.

Even before leveling up, he had been confident in shortening what would normally take half a month into half a day. Now that his level had increased, he could be even faster.

The reason he hadn't used this method earlier was that he had been focused on fighting monsters along the way to farm Adventure EXP.

But now that he had reached level 90 and needed a staggering 900,000 Adventure EXP to level up again, he wasn't interested in wasting time on the stray monsters here and there.

It was better to get to Inazuma City sooner and try to meet more interesting people.

"Alright, let's use your method!" Yoimiya agreed eagerly. If there was a faster way to reach Inazuma City, she certainly didn't want to waste ten days walking.

"Ahem, watch closely—I promise you'll be amazed."

Nolan cleared his throat confidently, then retrieved his Moonlight Greatsword from the "Wonderland." Using his mental energy, he controlled the sword to hover just above the ground—around ten centimeters or so.

With a small smile, he turned to the golden-haired girl in front of him and said:

"Alright, Yoimiya, hop on. I'll let you experience the legendary art of sword-riding!"
