Chapter 306: This Trainee Fatui Harbinger is Too Unreliable [306] [100 PS]
Morning arrived after a restless night.
Despite Luo Qing's attempts to close the distance with Ganyu, her resolve mirrored that of Kamisato Ayaka's—physical intimacy would only be permissible after marriage. However, she didn't reject Luo Qing's other gestures of affection. As a result, all Luo Qing could do throughout the night was hold her close, lightly caressing her and exploring her figure while they slept in each other's arms.
By the time the first light of dawn crept over the horizon, Luo Qing was already awake.
In his arms, Ganyu's silk sleepwear had become slightly disheveled. The pale blue fabric barely covered the essential areas, leaving her smooth, fair legs and delicate back partially exposed beneath the sheets—an irresistibly alluring sight.
Luo Qing pressed a gentle kiss to Ganyu's forehead before getting out of bed.
"Luo Qing…"
Deprived of his warmth, Ganyu stirred from her sleep. She pulled the blanket up to cover her chest and sat up groggily, rubbing her eyes. She looked at Luo Qing, who was dressing himself by the bedside.
"Are you… leaving?" she asked softly.
"Of course not," Luo Qing replied, smiling as he finished dressing. He sat at the edge of the bed, gently ruffled her hair, and kissed her on the lips.
"Don't forget, I promised to spend the Lantern Rite Festival with you."
"Mm…" Ganyu lowered her gaze, her cheeks tinged with red.
"Alright, I've got some matters to handle this morning. Make sure to get up early, okay? We'll meet again tonight."
"Got it…" she replied, her voice trailing off.
"Good girl." Luo Qing patted her head affectionately before turning to leave the room.

The Lantern Rite Festival was just around the corner, but the looming threat of Osial's reawakening cast a shadow over the celebrations.
Ningguang had spent the entire night at her desk, juggling preparations for the festival while devising countermeasures for Osial's potential resurgence. The last time, it was Luo Qing who had sealed Osial away and driven Beisht out of Liyue. Now, intelligence suggested Beisht's movements were linked to the Fatui.
To make matters worse, Luo Qing had unexpectedly returned to Liyue at this critical moment.
Although Ningguang trusted Ganyu's loyalty to Liyue, she couldn't dismiss the possibility that Luo Qing's return might serve some ulterior motive. If Luo Qing were to join forces with Osial, it would pose an unprecedented challenge to Liyue.
With the festival approaching, any misstep would not only endanger Liyue's citizens but also tarnish its reputation.
These concerns weighed heavily on Ningguang as she propped her head on her hand, lost in thought.
Suddenly, a strong gust of wind blew open the window to her right. Startled, Ningguang turned to close it, but something felt off. She spun around to find Luo Qing seated nonchalantly across from her, an unhurried smile on his face.
"Long time no see, Mr. Luo Qing," Ningguang said, steadying herself as she returned to her seat.
"Indeed, it's been a while, Miss Ningguang," Luo Qing replied with a faint smile. He casually picked up a document from her desk, scanning its contents. It was a report on the Fatui and Beisht, seemingly authored by Yelan.
"I hear you've been looking for me," Luo Qing said, setting the report back on the desk.
"Word reached me that you had returned to Liyue. I thought it'd be good to have a chat, and here you are," Ningguang replied with a calm smile as she gathered the scattered documents into a neat pile. Rising gracefully, she fetched a tea set from a nearby table and began preparing tea for her guest.
Her movements were flawless, betraying no signs of fatigue from her sleepless night.
"Well, it seems Miss Ningguang has missed me quite a bit," Luo Qing remarked with a chuckle, as if his visit were merely a friendly call.
"I heard from Ganyu that you might be in some trouble lately. Need a hand?" he asked.
"Just a minor inconvenience," Ningguang replied coolly, pouring tea for Luo Qing before resuming her seat. "But if Mr. Luo Qing is willing to assist, I'd certainly welcome the help."
"Oh? Is that so?" Luo Qing smirked, glancing again at the report in his hand. "But from what Ganyu told me, it seems you all view me as the trouble."
"Mr. Luo Qing…" Ningguang's voice grew firm, her gaze sharp. "I'm curious—what exactly is your relationship with Ganyu?"
Though Ganyu hadn't directly stated anything the previous night, her blushing face and bashful demeanor had spoken volumes.
"Ganyu, hmm…" Luo Qing leaned back in his chair, speaking lightly. "In Liyue terms, she's my fiancée—yet to officially wed, of course."
"…"
Ningguang was momentarily at a loss for words. While she wanted to refute him, the way Ganyu had fiercely defended Luo Qing the previous night suggested his claim wasn't far from the truth.
The thought of the adeptus who had served Liyue for millennia being courted by a Snezhnayan Harbinger sent a chill down her spine.
"Miss Ningguang, that look on your face…" Luo Qing chuckled. "What's this? Do you disapprove of my relationship with Ganyu?"
Ningguang's brows furrowed, but she didn't reply.
"In that case, let's stop beating around the bush," Luo Qing said, his tone shifting. He leaned forward, planting his hands firmly on the desk as he fixed Ningguang with an intense gaze. Though he used no visible force, the pressure emanating from him was palpable—reminiscent of Osial's oppressive aura.
"If I recall correctly, Miss Ningguang, I once told you that my stance toward Liyue depends entirely on your attitude toward me, didn't I?"
"That's correct…" Ningguang admitted, her expression unreadable.
"In that case," Luo Qing continued, his voice lowering, "targeting me, instructing Ganyu to distance herself from me… Should I take this as you trying to push me to Liyue's opposing side?"
Ningguang remained silent, her brows knitted tightly.
Years of business dealings had honed her instincts, and they told her that Luo Qing was on the verge of flipping the metaphorical table. Subtly, she shifted her hand behind her back, a faint glow of Geo energy forming at her fingertips in preparation for whatever might come next.
"Oh, I see that," Luo Qing remarked, his lips curling into a sly smile. "Now, listen to me carefully, Miss Ningguang. Take your hand out, and then… walk over here."
Suddenly, Ningguang felt her body stiffen, her right hand reluctantly moving out from behind her. No matter how hard she tried to resist, she couldn't regain control of her limbs. Against her will, she stood and began walking toward Luo Qing.
"You… What are you planning?" Ningguang's voice betrayed a rare trace of fear. For the first time in her life, she felt powerless.
Alone with Luo Qing, in this scenario where he had complete control over her body… If he intended to do something unspeakable…
"Just giving you a small lesson," Luo Qing said with a shrug, raising his hand. A peculiar purple orb materialized in his palm—a strange, ominous object.
It was none other than a Master Ball.
