Genshin Impact: Villain Life Sim

Chapter 90: Villain Simulator, Ch 266

"Keep monitoring their movements. Report to me immediately if there's any unusual activity," Lucas said, his tone serious. "It seems I need to fully bring Signora under control as soon as possible."

Although Lucas, along with Signora, Ningguang, and others, spent their days in the Jade Chamber living a rather shameless and unrestrained lifestyle, the moment official duties or important matters arose, Lucas became deadly serious.

This level of focus was something that even made Yelan's heart flutter.

Although she had originally "submitted" to Lucas under coercion, by this point, she had wholeheartedly pledged her loyalty to him.

"By the way," Yelan said with a light laugh, "have you really gotten that old? Since when do you smoke a tobacco pipe?"

Her tone was teasing. Although Lucas was in his thirties, his well-maintained appearance made him look much younger.

"This pipe belonged to my father," Lucas replied calmly. "I had mixed feelings about him for a long time, thinking he was a traitor. But now that I know the truth—that he was a true hero—I deeply regret that he'll never have the chance to stand in the light again."

Yelan was momentarily taken aback. A flicker of hesitation appeared on her face, and after a while, she seemed to muster her courage and said, "Actually, I…"

"You don't need to explain," Lucas interrupted, as if he had already guessed what she wanted to say. "You're going to tell me that if you had continued investigating back then, you might have uncovered the truth and cleared my father's name. But because you were tempted by the wealth of the Yanshang Teahouse, you gave up instead. Isn't that right?"

Yelan's face fell, her expression heavy. She nodded silently and muttered, "I… I'm sorry…"

"There's no need to apologize," Lucas said with a faint smile, gently stroking Yelan's cheek. There was a hint of bitterness in his voice as he continued, "Over the years, I've come to understand something: the world moves for profit, and people pursue their interests above all else. For my own gain, I've done far worse things than you ever have."

"I'll repay this debt…" Yelan said softly, leaning down with a smile. "In my own way."

In The Boys, Homelander once stood atop a skyscraper and performed his version of the "Getsuga Tensho" (a flashy display of power).

Similarly, Lucas had also been at the highest point of the Jade Chamber many times.

The difference was that Homelander did it himself, while Lucas had others "perform" for him.

Suddenly, Yelan frowned. "Wait a second… something smells strange."

Lucas's face turned red with embarrassment. "I forgot—I just finished copying Autumn Chrysanthemum. Should I go wash up first?"

Yelan raised an eyebrow. "Forget it. I'll make do."

Lucas: "…"

...

Ningguang, ever the seasoned diplomat, expertly took advantage of Signora's vulnerable state to strike up a conversation with her. Before long, she had the usually icy Signora pouring her heart out, sobbing uncontrollably.

When Lucas entered the room, he was greeted by an unusual sight: Signora and Ningguang were lying side by side on the bed, chatting like close friends at a spa retreat. All they were missing were cucumber slices over their eyes.

It had to be said, Ningguang truly excelled at playing the "good cop." Compared to her, Signora looked like an innocent high school girl completely out of her depth.

As Lucas entered, their conversation abruptly stopped. Signora's expression became complicated, her gaze darting around as if unsure where to look.

"You lost," Lucas said, breaking the silence. "So according to our pact, you're supposed to submit to me, isn't that right?"

"I accept the terms of the bet," Signora said through gritted teeth. "But even if my body submits, my heart never will."

Sensing the tension between the two, Ningguang quickly stepped in to mediate. "I've already spoken with Rosalyne. Can't you be a little gentler with her?"

Well, it seemed Ningguang had even managed to get Signora's real name out of her during their chat.

"Ningguang, leave us," Lucas said calmly. "And lend me the Jade Chamber for three days. I guarantee that in three days, she'll be fully obedient—mind and body."

Ningguang nodded and, as she passed by Lucas, leaned in and whispered, "Rosalyne is an E."

"Understood," Lucas replied in a low voice.

For clarification, the "E" referred to the "difficulty level" of winning her over.

As a side note, Ningguang was rated a D, while Yelan was a C. If these numbers seem low, it's because A-level difficulty meant seducing a deity, while B-level was reserved for subduing a demon god.

After Ningguang left, the room fell silent again. Eventually, Lucas spoke: "Does it still hurt?"

"What do you think?" Signora muttered, burying her face in the pillow. "Want me to show you?"

"Let me apply some medicine," Lucas said, pulling out an ointment. "Don't worry—my skills in making healing salves are just as good as my skills in making poisons."

Signora's face turned red. "I-I'll do it myself."

"No," Lucas shook his head. "This type of medicine can't be applied by hand."

"Then… what do you use?" Signora asked, confused.

"Musk oil applicators," Lucas replied.

"Huh?" Before she could react, she suddenly felt a cool, refreshing sensation on her wounds. The pain she had been feeling quickly subsided by more than half.

"There's still some swelling," Lucas said softly. "But with your constitution, you should recover fully very soon."

"I'm no longer the woman I once was," Signora said, glaring at Lucas. "But thinking you can completely conquer me in three days? Don't underestimate me."

"One of those three days is for you to recover," Lucas said with a mysterious smile as he stood up. "The game… is about to begin."

Three days later.

The Jade Chamber.

In the grand hall, Ningguang and Yelan waited patiently, eager to see the "results" of Lucas's three-day effort.

Both women were deeply curious about how Signora would look and behave after being "conquered" by Lucas.

The doors slowly opened, and Lucas stepped out, followed by Signora. To Ningguang and Yelan's surprise, Signora showed no signs of submission or obedience. Instead, she carried herself exactly as she always had—with her head held high and an air of arrogance, as though she didn't deem anyone worthy of her regard.

"Are you sure you succeeded?" Yelan asked with a hint of doubt. "She looks exactly the same as before."

"Hah! You think you can make me submit in a mere three days?" Signora sneered coldly. "What an absolute joke!"
