Chapter 89: Chapter 89: Shattered Worldviews

As long as I am strong, the people of Xumi will recognize me more easily.

Smith: "Okay, it's almost time to set off. If we wait any longer, Tony Stark might die."

At this moment, Smith was dressed neatly. Sometimes, he felt helpless. Before his time travel, getting dressed was a breeze. He could throw on any set of clothes in less than three minutes, thanks to habits developed back in school. But in this world, it took at least ten minutes to get fully dressed.

Even Keqing, who was usually meticulous about time, took more than half an hour to get up, dress, braid her hair, and wash up.

Maybe I can bring some dressing styles from Earth to this world. At least I should wear lighter clothes occasionally. Anyway, I now own a clothing factory, so making clothes is much more convenient.

"Bang!" The red and gold armor was struck by a laser in midair, plummeting to the ground. The composite metal mecha was damaged in several places. However, it quickly recovered, rising back into the sky.

"Tony Stark, are you still going to fight me? You're no match for me now!" A man in ancient attire, Mandarin, looked at Tony Stark with a gleam in his eye.

Tony Stark, of course, knew Mandarin well. Mandarin had been his rival in his original world. They had once fought with wits and skill, but Mandarin had accidentally arrived in this world, where he found Tony Stark attacking the Ten Rings. Wanting to conquer the Ten Rings in this world, Mandarin could not sit idly by.

"Who are you?" Tony Stark asked. He was baffled. He had never encountered anyone in this world who could use lasers, flames, or electric currents. It didn't seem scientific at all.

Logically, there shouldn't be superpowers in this world. Tony felt that the stranger seemed to know him too well.

Damn, who betrayed my information?

Normally, no one should have known that he had made the steel armor, yet this man not only knew about it but also seemed to understand the armor's abilities well.

If not for his desire to survive as a hero, to eliminate the Ten Rings, or his pride preventing him from running, Tony Stark would have wanted to escape.

"Me?" Mandarin grinned, stretching out his palm. "You can call me Mandarin!"

Terrifying energy gathered in Mandarin's hand. "Your journey ends here, guy from another world."

Suddenly, a sense of crisis filled the air, and Mandarin swiftly dodged. He barely avoided a wooden spear that shot through the air, crashing to the ground with an enormous explosion.

Both Mandarin and Tony Stark turned to see Smith and the others not far away.

"Who are you?" Mandarin looked at Smith with lingering fear. If he hadn't dodged quickly, the attack might have pierced his body.

"Me?" Smith wore a playful expression. "I'm from an organization that specializes in catching stowaways like you."

Smith glanced at Ye Lan and then at Nashida. "Nashida, how about you take care of this Mandarin?"

It was undeniable that Mandarin was quite powerful. If he ended up in the world of Teyvat, he would be a tough opponent. Smith didn't think Ye Lan could defeat him.

But now, he was up against Nashida, who, as a Grass God, possessed incredible strength. Nashida's abilities were no longer limited to just playing with dreams. After her power had been enhanced, she could perform miracles.

"Leave it to me!" Nashida smiled as she observed Mandarin's earlier battle. He seemed like a tough opponent, just the type of challenge she wanted for practice.

With that, Nashida leapt toward Mandarin.

"Hey, wait! How can you let a child fight this terrorist?" Tony Stark hurriedly tried to dissuade them.

How could a little girl defeat someone he couldn't even beat?

Wait a minute… Tony Stark's eyes narrowed as he noticed something strange. This little girl didn't seem human at all!

"Jarvis, zoom in on the little girl," Tony commanded his AI assistant.

The image of Nashida zoomed in quickly, and Tony couldn't help but exclaim, "Is this the legendary elf?"

Pointed ears, leaf-like eyes, and the ability to summon trees and vines with a mere gesture—this was definitely an elf.

For Tony Stark, this was a day that shattered all of his worldviews.

The Mandarin had seemed like a regular human, but now there was an elf, and who knows where these people came from! And then, Smith had mentioned stowaways—what did that even mean?

No, I have to ask.

On the other side, Mandarin was just as confused. A stowaway?

Was that referring to him?

He had just arrived in this world by accident, and now these people were already reacting quickly enough to catch him?

Mandarin glanced at the branches and vines creeping toward him, realizing that this must be the other party's ability. It was different from his own, where he needed to use the power of the rings to wield special abilities.

"Damn it!" Mandarin cursed inwardly, and the ring in his hand fired an infrared beam. It ignited upon contact with the vines, but these flames didn't stop the trees. In fact, the flames only made the trees more powerful.

"The ignited trees are even more dangerous!" Nashida said with a knowing look.
