Global Creation: Beginning with Binding a God Simulator

Chapter 25: Chapter 25: The Crowd Boils Over, Selecting Cards

Meanwhile, after sending Xia Yinyue home, Bai Ze arrived at the entrance of the Genesis Tower.

As soon as he walked inside, he was greeted by a buzz of lively discussion.

It sounded like... it had something to do with him?!

"What's going on?" Bai Ze wondered aloud.

At that moment, a female staff member in uniform approached him with a professional smile.

"Hello, sir. Welcome to Genesis Tower. How can I assist you today?"

"Uh..." Bai Ze thought for a moment before replying, "I need some cards, preferably biological ones. Do you have those here?"

"Yes, we do, sir," the staff member responded politely. "However... may I ask if you have registered as a Creator with the Interstellar Federation? If not, I'm afraid you won't be able to purchase resources here."

Bai Ze was familiar with this registration process, which was designed to prevent spies from other nations or alien races from infiltrating the Genesis Tower and acquiring top-tier resources.

"I haven't registered yet. Can I do it now?" Bai Ze asked.

The staff member examined Bai Ze carefully as if sizing him up.

"It's possible, sir. However, you are a newly awakened Creator, correct? To register, the minimum requirement is having a first-tier planet."

Judging by Bai Ze's youthful appearance, the staff member guessed he might not have graduated yet, so she wasn't surprised.

Bai Ze, however, smiled calmly and nodded. "I did just awaken recently, but if it's just registering, that shouldn't be a problem."

The staff member didn't press further. After all, this was the Genesis Tower. Anyone who stepped in likely had a certain level of understanding about its exclusivity and costs.

Given Bai Ze's calm demeanor and confident words despite his young age, she suspected he might come from a powerful family a young master, perhaps.

"Very well, sir. Please follow me."

The two made their way to a counter. The staff member turned to her computer and asked, "Sir, could you provide me with your name? I'll retrieve your personal information for registration."

Bai Ze answered casually, "Bai Ze."

"Alright, Mr. Bai Ze... Bai..." Suddenly, the staff member froze, as if realizing something.

Her eyes widened as she stared at the young man before her.

"You're that Bai Ze?!"

Her exclamation immediately attracted the attention of everyone in the Genesis Tower's first-floor hall.

"What? Bai Ze? Where?!" The crowd began to search eagerly.

At the same time, Bai Ze's personal information appeared on the computer screen:

Name: Bai Ze

Age: 18

School: Nantian High School

Awakening Time: Seven days

Planet: One first-tier planet

The staff member read the information aloud, her voice trembling, and the entire hall erupted in astonishment.

"Gasp!"

"It's Bai Ze from Nantian High School! He's here at Genesis Tower!"

"Wait, the most shocking part is that he awakened just seven days ago and already reached a first-tier planet. How is that even possible?"

"The rumors were true! South City has birthed a genius, a prodigy who might rival those monsters from the capital!"

Feeling slightly awkward under the excited and admiring gazes, Bai Ze turned his head back to the stunned staff member and asked, "My identity has been verified. Can I register now?"

Snapping out of her daze, the staff member quickly nodded. "Yes, yes! Your Creator information has been successfully registered. Please let me know what you're looking for, and I'll assist you right away!"

She promptly stepped out from behind the counter and led Bai Ze forward.

To think that the very person making waves with the morning's rumors was now standing before them!

And to top it off, he was just 18 years old, only seven days into his awakening, and already had a first-tier planet. At the very least, he possessed Commander-level creatures.

No wonder he exuded such confidence he had the skills to back it up.

"Mr. Bai Ze, the biological card section is just ahead."

They stopped in front of a store. Through the glass display, Bai Ze could see an array of cards with varying designs.

Entering the store, Bai Ze turned to the staff member and said, "I'm looking for cards of grade B or higher, preferably those that can directly summon creatures."

Grade B cards typically start at around ten million credits.

As for higher-grade cards, many were priceless treasures that couldn't be easily bought, so Bai Ze wasn't considering them yet.

"Of course, Mr. Bai Ze. The grade B biological cards are mostly in this section."

As the staff member guided him, she explained the features of the displayed cards.

Bai Ze scanned the cards within the glass cases:

Zombie Horde (Grade B Biological Card): Summons a swarm of mindless, pain-resistant undead from the soil. They are ferocious fighters with strong contagious properties.

Price: 10 million

Frankenstein's Monsters (Grade B Biological Card): Summons a small group of scientifically enhanced creatures with high strength and absolute defense. Their only weakness is their extreme vulnerability to water.

Price: 20 million

Night Parade of a Hundred Demons (Grade B Biological Card): Summons are a group of ghostly spiritual entities immune to physical attacks but highly susceptible to magic.

Price: 25 million

Despite browsing through the options, Bai Ze didn't find any of them particularly appealing.

To him, these creatures seemed far too weak.

Even if they couldn't match his current commanders, their growth potential was still disappointing. There wasn't anything worth investing in.

"Mr. Bai Ze, that's the majority of our grade B cards," the staff member said, trying to make a case for the cards. "Although none of these directly summon extraordinary creatures, they are all of high-level bloodlines. With proper nurturing, their potential for transcendence is immense."

But Bai Ze didn't seem eager to make a decision.

"What about grade A cards? How many of those do you have?" Bai Ze asked.

The staff member's expression grew slightly uneasy.

"Grade A cards... we do have them, but they're rare. The minimum price for grade-A cards starts in the hundreds of millions. Mr. Bai Ze might..."

"Just take me to see them," Bai Ze interrupted calmly.

Although he couldn't afford them right now, looking wouldn't hurt.

If he came across a particularly promising card, he could always find a way to make more money and purchase it later.

After all, he'd rather not waste his resources on subpar grade B cards. If they weren't worth it, Bai Ze would rather do without.
