Global Creation: Beginning with Binding a God Simulator

Chapter 36: Chapter 36: "Enormous Cocoon, Unprecedented Era of Mutation

[At the dawn of the world, the planet flourished to its peak, resembling the descent of Eden itself, dazzling and vibrant, filled with diverse beauty. Creatures basked in the morning sun, frolicking joyously.]

Early First Era:

Led by the extraordinary Three Great Clans, the continent had already given rise to nearly 500 species. Among them, the Celestial Beetle Clan initially emerged within the forest, commanded by their leader, the Celestial Beetle Lord.

"Sigh… Losing the remnants from the previous simulation means I have to start over," Bai Ze muttered helplessly, shaking his head.

He gazed upon the planet, letting a sliver of his consciousness descend into it.

Mid First Era:

Suddenly descending upon the Celestial Beetle Clan, Bai Ze's presence terrified the creatures into trembling submission. None dared to raise their heads and meet his gaze.

Without hesitation, he proclaimed to them that he was the deity governing this world, the Father God who had created them. Their purpose, he declared, was to interbreed and develop the ultimate life form he desired.

He even provided a specific biological model with a developmental goal and instructed them to feast freely on the vegetation but ensure they achieved his vision.

Upon learning the truth, the Celestial Beetle Clan was extraordinarily elated. They felt immense pride in being the children of a god and solemnly vowed to fulfill their Father God's will by creating the perfect life form.

Ding! Faith value +1.

"Time is short; their progress will have to do for now."

Given the urgency, Bai Ze skipped training their intelligence and opted for straightforward directives. He also resolved to oversee the other creatures in this round, unlike before when their unchecked extinction halted development paths.

Late First Era:

Following Bai Ze's instructions, the Celestial Beetle Clan began rampant crossbreeding, producing countless new species, all of which were accepted within their clan.

This trend spread widely, and word of this divine will reached other species, inspiring many to imitate the Celestial Beetles and sparking a frenzy of crossbreeding.

The movement gained so much traction that even the Three Great Clans became aware of it. Revering the great deity, they commanded their subordinate species to pair with weaker creatures.

However, their overwhelmingly pure bloodlines resulted in malformed and fragile offspring. Disheartened, the Three Great Clans abandoned their experiments.

End of First Era:

Due to this crossbreeding frenzy, countless bizarre and grotesque creatures appeared, lending the world an eerie charm.

Bai Ze noticed a subtle change in the planet's atmosphere due to these activities. Meanwhile, the Celestial Beetle Clan's rampant reproduction led to forest degradation in surrounding areas. However, their enhanced satiety levels mitigated their dependence on food (effect of Sustained Satiety).

Fortunately, they successfully bred a bipedal mutant beetle with prominent mandibles descended from the once-mighty Sea Slug Beetle.

"Here we go. Now it's time to refine its bloodline and genetics," Bai Ze mused.

While the bipedal mutant beetle possessed intelligence, it had physical deficiencies, so it didn't meet Bai Ze's standards. Only through meticulous adjustments could the ultimate life form be achieved.

Early Second Era:

Due to the abundance of mutated creatures, the planet's oxygen was polluted, transforming into a peculiar gray gas that made survival challenging for ordinary species.

However, hybrids with impure bloodlines and chaotic genetics thrived in this environment. The gas even seemed to bolster their capabilities!

Mid Second Era:

The Celestial Beetle Lord remained steadfast in conducting crossbreeding experiments, remembering Bai Ze's decree: to craft the ultimate being towering over all.

Brandishing the name of the deity, the Celestial Beetle Lord inspired various species to offer members for experimentation, eager to honor their Father God's will.

Late Second Era:

After hundreds of failed experiments, a semi-finished product, carrying the bloodlines of over a hundred species and countless genetic chains, finally emerged before the Celestial Beetle Lord a colossal cocoon shrouded in gray corruption. Within, crystalline yellow eyes gleamed, and countless tendrils writhed, hinting at an ongoing metamorphosis.

End of Second Era:

The cocoon voraciously consumed everything plants and creatures alike causing widespread ecological destruction.

The Celestial Beetle Lord, undeterred, understood that this was the infant form of the divine life Bai Ze envisioned. This creature even absorbed the spiritual energy of other beings to evolve, leaving the planet's inhabitants lethargic and despondent.

Early Third Era:

The cocoon's emergence intensified the planet's gray atmosphere, saturating the planet. Over time, other creatures adapted to this environment.

Amid these changes, rampant hybridization produced unique and extraordinary beings such as the Sky Dragon, Six-Winged Rhinoceros Beetle, and Turbo Shark. These abominations possessed immense potential, to revolutionize the world.

This monumental moment was recorded in history as the Age of Mutation.

Ding! A new era has been born: the Age of Mutation!

"The Age of Mutation?"

"A brand-new era, never before witnessed?!"

Bai Ze was astounded.

Accidentally or not, he had established an entirely new era!

Historical eras like the Devonian or Cretaceous were milestones of achievement. But his era had broken through history, creating a wholly unprecedented record.

"If news of this spreads, it'll spark massive headlines across the province!"

"The wheel of this new era is now turning. It's time to create its leader."

"Let's see what potential lies within this cocoon!"

Bai Ze felt a surge of anticipation, his eyes fixed on the planet below.
