MTLNOVEL Chapter 104: Powerful
As soon as he reached that distance, he ran to the side and fired.

The ogre immediately raised one of his hands to stop the attack, but it was so fast that he couldn't do it completely. The attack still hit his right shoulder.
Despite being incredibly tough, the force of the bullet still penetrated his flesh, and the wind magic hit him hard.
Even so, it didn't move him.
It was basic magic; it had power, but didn't match the Ogre's current power.
Besides the pain and some blood coming out of his body, not much else happened to stop him.
But that was just what he needed for a bullet to come out from the other side of the room.
This wasn't just any bullet. It was one of Laura's most powerful bullets.
Magic can be divided into numerical levels for easy identification. These are Rune levels. There are many types of magic within the Level 1 category. The ones Louis can perform are an example of this.
However, Laura is currently in a different category, as she can perform Level 3 Power Runes, which is very difficult. Of course, she doesn't usually attack low-level beasts with those runes, as Level 3 Power Runes are very expensive given how difficult they are to create.
The difference in power between a Level 1 spell and a Level 3 spell is too great. Calculating it would be meaningless.
While a Level 1 spell is a basic spell for beginners, Level 3 spells fall into the category of intermediate magic.
Not only do they have superior power, but they also feature magical shapes capable of penetrating armor in unexpected ways, such as in the shape of an X, making it difficult for the defender to know where the magic will strike.
In this case, Laura's bullet took the clear shape of a spear when it was fired. It soon struck the Ogre's left head. The bullet continued on its path across the room, entering on one side and exiting on the other.
But the magic was different. It found its target; it didn't need to search any further. Although spells don't think, they carry the intention of their bearer, so they know when to activate.
This caused a huge spear to form at the point of impact and descend vertically, piercing the Ogre's entire torso until it reached its lower part, narrowly missing the core in its abdomen.
"Tsk." Laura groaned when she realized her magic hadn't worked.
And the Ogre got angrier and angrier as he felt the pain shooting through his body. The gusts of wind that got into his body through that magic hit his organs, making his pain way worse.
"GROOOOOARRRR!" A strange roar between pain and anger struck Louis's ears, but in that moment of carelessness, he had managed to get close to the ogre.
His revolver was reloaded with a bullet without a rune. A clean one, without additives, and he aimed directly at the abdomen.
[Revolver Enhanced Shot has been activated.]

The bullet easily penetrated the armor, using all its physical force... Immediately, the hidden core of the Two-Headed Demon Ogre was destroyed.
Seeing this, Louis was stunned by a series of messages that came to him.

His mind was already wondering when he would level up in the Sequence, as he had fired the most shots, and there seemed to be no sign of it. So a wave of happiness swept over his body.
Which was a serious mistake.
The Ogre was wounded, not dead.
This Ogre immediately unleashed a tremendous blow, with all his strength, hitting Louis squarely in the face.
He was shaken to his core. His internal organs were shaken, as were his bones, and his thoughts faltered for a moment.
His health points suddenly plummeted, dropping more than 700 in one blow.
Laura finished reloading at that moment. She didn't have time to worry about Louis, as the Ogre was already after him to crush him.
So he immediately took aim and fired.
BAM*
It was another powerful shot. A Level 3.
The bullet flew at high speed and approached the target...
SWOSH*
The sound of the wind cracking from the bullet echoed through the room, and it soon hit the wall on the other side, activating an X-shaped attack spell.
"Did I miss?" Laura shuddered inside and immediately got up.
"Shit." She realized that Louis was in danger.
Missing that bullet was crucial. It was the first time she had missed since entering the Tower this time. She hadn't calculated her opponent's speed correctly, and now her teammate was in danger.
She immediately ran forward as she reloaded, trying to get as close as possible.
As soon as she finished firing, she jumped into the air and took aim.
The Ogre was still about 50 meters away from Louis, while she was 70 meters away from the Ogre.
It was a short distance for a sniper like her.
"This time I won't miss."
The Ogre's remaining head was finally in her sights.

An incredible scene unfolded before her eyes. A bullet pierced that head firmly and shattered it in an instant.
She didn't even have a chance to shoot. She immediately looked at Louis' position and realized that, even though he was wounded, he had raised his gun and fired it.
But the power...
'Why is it so powerful? Much more powerful than its physical bullet.' She thought.
The Ogre couldn't continue on his way; he fell to the ground, finally dead.
A system announcement appeared for both of them, indicating that they had killed the Boss.
In Louis's eyes, there were two additional messages, indicating that he had leveled up twice.
It was really difficult to level up after level 10. Despite killing a level 75 boss, he only leveled up twice, and that was in addition to having killed several demons before the boss.
