She felt a tinge of sadness, though.

Parting with the Fire of Life was painful for her.

However, now that even the Fire of Life had chosen the Trainer and Pokemon more suited for it, despite her sadness, Master Tao Xiuying was also reassured.

Her choice hadn't been wrong, at least.

"Thank you, Master Tao, and thank you, Blaze Chicken," Fang Yuan bowed in gratitude, well aware of the significance of the gift. Monferno also voiced a "Woa" in thanks, joining Fang Yuan in expressing their gratitude.

"Think nothing of it. Please take good care of the Fire of Life. Furthermore, if you wish for it to recover quickly when it dims, you can place it in the volcanic lava at the crater," Master Tao Xiuying advised.

Legend has it that when Moltres is injured, it enters the lava in a volcano to burn and heal its wounds.

This legend is true, and not just for Moltres, but the Fire of Life as well can draw on the volcano's power to restore itself.

Fang Yuan nodded repeatedly. Volcanoes, they were easy to find, especially with one right on the Road of Champions.

"Will you continue your challenge? Is Monferno's body okay?" Master Tao Xiuying asked, inquiring about Monferno's health.

She still couldn't believe how quickly Monferno had become lively again, which was why, right after ensuring no serious issues with Blaze Chicken, she immediately brought over the Fire of Life.

"Yes, we'll continue. Monferno might be out of combat for now, but we still have Eevee and the others," Fang Yuan glanced at Monferno.

Although Monferno's recovery was remarkably quick, it still couldn't utilize Intersected Force.

But its physical condition made Monferno realize that it probably wouldn't get a chance at this Road of Champions challenge anymore.

This meant that once Victini and Eevee recovered, whether it be Enhanced Mega Evolution or Z-Moves, he could continue using them.
