If Ding Nuannuan could, she would have liked to tell Yu Dong that she wanted to stay in her house all the time. But Ding Nuannuan knew that if she were to say such shameless words, Yu Dong would not like her.

"Sister!" Yu Mai deliberately shouted, he then rushed towards Yu Dong like a cannonball. His arms were still holding Yu Jin. He said to his sister, "Sister where did you go? Why did you leave us? Jin Jin has been crying for you."

He then turned to look at Ding Nuannuan whom he disliked severely and said to her, "Why are you trying to trouble my sister?"

"Stop pestering her, today my aunt got married and you came to pester my sister? Are you not ashamed?"

"I am not pestering, Auntie Dong!" Ding Nuannuan denied the allegations immediately. She hid her dissatisfaction with Yu Mai who came to trouble so soon and said pitifully, "You know that my mother was struck by lightning and everyone is making fun of her in the village. She is upset so she is taking her anger out on me and my daddy."

"I really did not mean to pester Auntie Dong, it is just that no one likes me and I am having a hard time. I didn't even eat anything the entire day."

Ding Nuannuan then peeked at Yu Mai and said to him, "My mother said that she was with you when she was struck by lightning. And since I am your friend, I need to suffer as well."

Ding Nuannuan was suspicious of Yu Mai, her mother could not think of a reason why she was struck by lightning.

"I didn't do anything wrong. I was punished unjustly!" Ding Nuannuan was a little excited as she cursed Yu Mai for spitting out nonsense. What did he mean by that she was the one who did something wrong?

She was not even kicked out of the house!

However, she caught herself in time when she noticed that her voice had risen sharply. She said to Yu Mai, "I was punished because of you. My mother thinks that it was you who caused her to be struck by lightning."

"Why would your mother think that?" Yu Mai turned to look at his sister and said to her innocently, "Is her mother foolish? How could Mai make her get struck by lightning?"

"Maybe she is blaming others because she does not want to take responsibility ?" Yu Dong replied calmly, causing Ding Nuannuan's expression to turn pale. She stared at Yu Dong in shock as she could not believe that Yu Dong was doting on Yu Mai to this point.

She said those words deliberately to make Yu Dong think that there was something wrong with Yu Mai and yet she was still siding with Yu Mai?

Shouldn't she think that Yu Mai was a demon?

Ding Nuannuan tearfully called out to Yu Dong, "Auntie Dong..that's not it——"

She tried to hug Yu Dong but Yu Mai immediately stopped her like an angry cat. He stood in front of his sister with his arms raised and said angrily, "What are you doing? Stay away from my sister. She is mine!"

As he spoke he headbutted Ding Nuannuan.
