Guide To Reign My Tycoon Husbands

Chapter 571: She was the one who tried to kill Madam

Luo Huian keeled over. She had just bent over to take a seat when someone knocked into her, and she would have kissed the floor if Luo Qingling hadn't caught her by the arms. Annoyed with the actions of the person who bumped into her, she raised her head and looked at the mer who was rushing over to the bed where Luo Yeqing was lying.

She had to admit that with everything that was going on, Qin Qiu had some really thick skin to come here and cause trouble for her and her family.

And from the looks on her father's and grandmother's faces, she was quite certain that they too had the same thought in their heads. Because let's be honest, someone had to have a really thick layer of skin to be this shameless.

Qin Qiu, however, didn't seem to notice, and even if he did notice it, he didn't even look at them. His eyes were locked on Luo Yeqing as he threw himself on the woman's body. "Darling, this is why I told you that we cannot divorce. Look at this: as soon as you left my sight, such a big accident happened. If I were with you, then you would be completely fine, wuwuwuwuwu."

Ye Shun scowled when he heard the pointed words of Qin Qiu; even though the mer didn't say it explicitly, he could feel that the mer was targeting him. He was a mer who grew up taking all kinds of classes. So, how could he be foolish enough not to understand such a simple thing?

However, he deemed it beneath him to quarrel with Qin Qiu. talking to this mer was like talking to a wall. He would rather crack open his skull by banging it on a wall rather than engage in a fight with Qin Qiu.

However, just because he didn't want to quibble with the mer didn't mean that the mer was going to leave him alone. A second later, Old Master Qin entered the ward. His eagle eyes swept through the room, and he finally turned to look at Ye Shun and Old Madam Luo. With a snort, he stepped inside the room and said to the two of them, "This is why I said that it's better for my daughter-in-law to calm down and think things through. Just look at this; it hasn't been a month since my Qiu stepped away from the responsibility of taking care of her, and she met with an accident."

Ye Shun didn't speak because he didn't want to engage in mindless quarrels, but Luo Huian didn't like the fact that the old mer was trying to put her father down. She narrowed her eyes and stated in a cold voice, "You speak as if the old woman was pushed off the tenth floor. She just slipped and fell, something that could happen to just about anyone. She is neither insane nor a child; why would we follow her all day long?"

"Are you trying to say that a woman as old as her cannot even take care of herself?"

Old Master Qin choked. He glared at Luo Huian, who simply smiled back at him, not looking the slightest bit deterred.

"Alright," Old Madam Luo spoke before Old master Qin could say anything else. With a stern look, she glanced at the old mer and said to him, "Huian is right. This was just a small accident that happened due to a lack of care. No one can be blamed for it other than Yeqing for not taking care of herself."

When Old Master Qin heard the words of Old Lady Luo, his expression turned ferocious. Mad! They were all mad! It seemed like he had to do something more, or else his son would be kicked out of the Luo family very soon.

He smiled at Old Madam Luo and said to her, "It is not that I want to scold anyone, Old Madam. The reason I said those words was out of concern for my precious daughter-in-law. With Master Ye focusing on the company, someone needs to take care of my daughter-in-law, right?"

Ye Shun, who was standing quietly on the side, narrowed his eyes when he heard the subtle taunt that Old Master Luo had thrown his way. He smiled and stated, "We have countless servants in our home, Old Master Qin. There is no need for your son to do the job of a servant."

Old Master Qin stiffened, and so did Qin Qiu.

He turned to look at Ye Shun, who flashed him a sweet smile, but before he could say anything to the mer, Luo Yeqing let out a moan.

"I am here, darling." Qin Qiu turned to look at his wife with a smiling expression on his face. He was waiting for Luo Yeqing to call his name, but —

"ah…shun…Shun…"

Everyone turned to look at Ye Shun while Qin Qiu's expression turned rather funny. He stared at Luo Yeqing as if he couldn't believe what he had heard. He turned to look at Ye Shun as well. His eyes turned red with anger and grief as he turned around on his feet and ran out of the ward, sobbing like a little teenager.

Luo Huian watched him go before letting out a sigh and remarking, "Ah, love."

In response, she got a smack on the head by Luo Qingling, who could see that her little sister was making fun of her father.

"Oww!" Luo Huian covered her head and looked up at Luo Qingling before whining, "What was that for?"

"Nothing just felt like it," Luo Qingling sniffed.

Hearing her response, Luo Huian simply rolled her eyes. She then turned to look at Luo Yeqing, who was stirring on the bed. It seemed like the woman would wake up in no time. Since she was alright, Luo Huian was not going to waste her time here anymore.

She got on her feet and left the ward. Anyway, she and Luo Yeqing were not close to begin with. The reason she came to see her was that Ye Shun was crying and looked scared when the two of them were talking earlier. If not for Ye Shun, she would have never looked in the direction of this woman.

No one stopped Luo Huian, not even Old Madam Luo. She knew that the child had many scars, and they were directly or indirectly linked to Luo Yeqing. Since there was already a rift between the mother and daughter, there was no point in asking Luo Huian to do her duty as the daughter when Luo Yeqing didn't do it as her mother.

She sighed and looked at her daughter, who was yet to wake up, and didn't know what to say. What could she say? This mess was created by Luo Yeqing, and she was the only one who could break this knot. Only then would Luo Huian forgive her mother.

Luo Huian, who arrived at the Luo mansion, had no idea that Old Madam Luo was thinking so many things. If she had known then, she would have told her poor grandmother that there was no need, for she was not the original owner. She had no feelings, whether hatred or anger, towards Luo Yeqing.

For her, that woman was like a stranger.

"Can you give me some fruits and beans?" Luo Huian peeked inside the kitchen and asked the workers.

The chef, who was in charge of cooking meals for the Luo family, immediately nodded and handed the fruits and beans to Luo Huian as she asked. Of course, he wondered what Luo Huian was going to do with these things, but as long as she didn't do anything to harm herself, the chef didn't have to worry about her.

Luo Huian could see what was going on in the head of the chef, but she didn't do anything to correct him. Instead, she took the bowl and went to Luo Yeqing's room. She placed the fruits and beans on the table before drawing out the talisman that she carried with her at all times in the space bag.

With the talisman in her hands, Luo Huian threw it in the air. The talisman glowed a brilliant pink before the orbs scattered all over the room, and Luo Huian smiled. Once she was done with everything, she turned on her feet and headed out of the room.

When the servants saw her coming out of Luo Yeqing's room, everyone couldn't help but shudder. What was going on? Don't tell them that the person who caused Madam Luo to fall was the second miss? If not, why was she smiling in such a vicious manner?

"What are you all looking at?" Fan Meilin, who returned after driving around the city, looked at the servants who were huddled in a corner.

When the servants heard his question, they jumped as if they had been electrocuted. But when they saw that it was just Fan Meilin, they heaved a sigh of relief.

"Miss Luo…she was the one who tried to kill Madam."
