Harem in the world of One Piece

Chapter 23: The Infinite Fruit II

As the battle between Gojo and Kaido raged on, the duels between the three commanders of each crew had already come to an end. Each had decided to return to their respective ships.

Toji was the first to return. His battle against Jack had been a resounding victory. With his agility and monstrous strength, he had been able to dominate Jack effortlessly.

Yuta was the second person to return. Unlike Toji, who had an easy victory, his battle had been a bit more challenging. Queen had managed to keep him at bay with rays similar to those of Kizaru, but Yuta had ultimately emerged victorious.

The last to return was Sukuna. Just by looking at him, one could tell how intense his battle had been. He walked slowly, with a satisfied air, then stopped and looked into the distance... With a smile, he resumed his path back to the Stella.

The same went for the Hundred Beasts crew. Some members had started to awaken after the shock of the Conqueror's Haki, while others tended to the wounded Calamities.

After Sukuna rejoined the rest of the crew, he quickly changed, opting for a flowing white robe and a dark gray haori. The robe was simple, with long sleeves and a high collar. The haori was adorned with blue wave patterns and a black border. This attire gave him a more serene appearance.

He then joined the other members and began exchanging a few words, whether about his own battle or that of the other curses, but he didn't forget about his captain's battle. However, their exchange was interrupted by a tremor on the island and a sudden explosion. One of the mountains on the island had collapsed, revealing the gigantic silhouette of Kaido in his dragon form, visible even from afar.

In the distance, the impact of the explosion was such that it shook both the Infinite Pirates' and the Hundred Beasts Pirates' ships back and forth.

"Th-this can't be... Don't tell me the captain is the one who just received that attack!?" exclaimed Utahime, visibly worried.

"Why ask such a dumb question...? Who else but the captain would be fighting that monster?" sarcastically remarked Toji.

"Do you think an attack like that can kill Gojo, Utahime...?" Sukuna asked. "But I must say Kaido is not holding back." he added as he watched the explosion.

--------------

On the Hundred Beasts Pirates' side:

"This Gojo may have been talked about a lot, but he doesn't hold a candle to Kaido-sama," commented a pirate.

But those at the commander level stayed silent. They knew the battle had just begun.

King, Queen, and Jack stood at the forefront, observing the battle. They knew the strength of those known as curses, those that made Gojo a monster in his own right.

"Who will emerge victorious?" Queen asked.

"Well... it's hard to say. After seeing the strength of this Toji... This Gojo must be very strong for him to accept being under his command," answered Jack.

King, on the other hand, remained silent. He simply watched, firmly believing in Kaido's victory.

--------------

Gojo lay in his crater, following Kaido's attacks just before being struck by his dragon breath. One might think he was defeated, but an invisible shield protected him from the devastating flames.

His deep blue eyes gazed at the sky, showing no emotion.

Due to his extraordinary physical body, his wounds were healed in no time. With the force displayed by Kaido, a normal person would have taken time to recover, or worse.

A strange feeling rose from Gojo's heart, his blood boiling with excitement. His fighting spirit only increased.

"More... I want even more!" he murmured.

Suddenly, there was a change in momentum and pressure that affected all living beings in the vicinity. The aura made everyone tremble; it was a mix of fighting spirit and Conqueror's Haki.

As the island trembled from Gojo's Haki unleashed, suddenly a laughter echoed amidst the flames. One could feel the excitement from the person. A pressure exerted in the air swept away the flames and dust, revealing an unscathed Gojo.

His aura was rising, affecting the surroundings. Space was distorted, enclosing all within a one-kilometer radius, making the island his territory.

Gojo, amidst the debris, vanished only to reappear in the air a few meters in front of Kaido. He smiled and said:

"Let's pick up where we left off, shall we?"

Not giving Kaido a chance to respond, he started to act. Raising his hand, a red energy formed, then he used his other hand to immobilize it with his "Celestial Imprint" technique and unleashed his reversal technique: red.

Sensing the approaching danger, Kaido exploded his Conqueror's Haki to break free from the Celestial Hand, then dodged the attack, which exploded upon contact with the mountain.

Following the sudden explosion, both crews tried to step back to avoid being affected, but were blocked by an invisible barrier.

"What are you guys doing! They're getting serious. If we stay close, we'll get caught in their battle," cried Queen, showing her concern.

"I-it's impossible, Queen-sama! We're blocked by something," replied a terrified pirate.

"Damn it," grumbled Queen.

Watching Kaido take his hybrid form, Gojo began to descend. Kaido reached the ground, followed by Gojo who continued to smile. Just inches apart, the two locked eyes, then Gojo spoke:

"Let's have some fun, Kaido."

With those words, they rushed forward, closing the distance in seconds.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

The sounds of battle echoed throughout the island, growing increasingly violent. Each time a sound was heard, the sky split in two, marking the use of Conqueror's Haki.
