Chapter 96: Ken's Glow Up
While Ken was still sleeping his phone began ringing which led to him waking up from sleep.
"Who is this calling me by this time…?" Ken mumbled, as he turned to face the direction of his phone. His eyes were already opened and staring at his phone.
Ken continued staring at his phone for a while as he couldn't find the strength to sit up and pick it.
However, the noise it was making was too much for him to bear any longer, and so he decided to go for the pick.
Although, as he stretched his hand to pick it, the calling stopped. Ken hissed as he noticed this, and in that same second he turned himself to the other side of the bed.
Just when he thought that… yes. The call had finally stopped, it started again.
And this time, it seemed to be longer than the last time.
"Ohhh… Who is this one?" Ken mumbled, as he turned to face his phone once more. He was tired and whoever was calling him, was depriving him from his sleep.
Ken then rose from the bed and sat upright on it, he cleaned his eyes with one of his hands while the other reached for his phone.
As Ken grabbed the phone in his hand, he stopped cleaning his eyes and then stared at the caller.
"No name…?" He uttered.
Seeing as there was no name, Ken contemplated whether he should pick it or not.
However, his curiosity got the best of him, and so he picked it.
...
At the other side of the phone was a lady speaking. She introduced herself as the principal of the school that Ken's sister… Estela, attended.
The lady explained to him that this day was the day they called an 'open day' for all students.
It is a day where parents and guardians come to the school to see how their children are doing in their academics,
And overall in their lifestyle as a student. While the lady was talking, Ken thought about it.
He could remember this day, because he too he had it when he was still in high school. However, at the time it was his mother who went to his school for him.
However, now that his parents are no longer with them, that responsibility has fallen on him as the eldest sibling.
After he thought about all these, he continued listening to the lady.
At this moment, the lady sounded like she was accusing him of not taking that responsibility as the eldest sibling.
However, Ken didn't utter a word to her while she was speaking. He knew that it was not his fault.
Of course there was a day called the open day, however it was not like he knew when the day would come when he was no longer in high school.
And for a fact, Estela never told him about it before hand.
As the lady finished talking, the last thing she asked of him, was if he was going to show for the open day. And so Ken accused her he was.
...
The call ended and then Ken took a deep sigh. "What a strange lady…" He murmured. "…she spoke like she was going to cut off my neck if I didn't show. Although when did they start calling parents to come for their child's open day. Back in my day if a parent doesn't show, no one cares and that was how it goes."
Ken thought of how strange it was that the principal of the school would take her time to make a call just for one student.
Although, little did know that the lady only did this because Estela was the top of her class and the second best in the entire school.
She had her own influence.
Ken didn't think much about it, as he was about to go and prepare. The day that he thought he wasn't going to go out, this just had to happen.
Although since it was for his sibling, there was nothing more he could say.
Just as he was about to drop his phone, they saw the notification he had.
There were missed calls notifications, and since Ken had just talked to the principal of the school,
He decided to save the lady's number for a next time. As he opened the call area, he saw more than one miss calls.
And this was not from the number that he just spoke to a while ago.
"Wow… how many times did the both of them call?" He uttered as he saw his missed calls.
One was from Kimberly and three was from Vivian. But there was none from the lady that just called him now. And then the thought hit him.
"That means the first call that I heard was…" before Ken could continue his statement, he checked the time interval between the three calls and saw that Kimberly was the one that called just before the principal.
"…Kimberly?" Ken proclaimed as he noticed. "But why are they calling me this time." Ken said this as if he didn't know why they were both calling him.
Meanwhile at his time he had a smirk on his face as he body coursed through thrill. He knew that this ladies were calling him because they wanted him.
Although Kimberly could only call once because she hasn't tasted what Ken could give her.
However, on the other hand, Vivian was calling him because she has already tasted what he had given her, and couldn't do without him.
Although part of it was also because of her feelings for him.

Ken stoood up with pride in his eyes as he felt the aura surrounding him. He felt like he had just arrived.
He then walked to the bathroom to have his bath right after dropping his phone. However, as he was going there, he felt like he was forgetting about something.
...
After Ken had finished having his bath and brushing his teeth, he dressed himself a decent clothes.
He knew where he was going and what he was going there to do there, so he had took the part.
He wore a black trouser with a white long sleeve top, and then a tie. On his feet was a black corporate shoe that he kept for occasions likes.
His hair was well combed and styled, while he looked at himself in the mirror. He looked like someone who was going for an interview.
Although that didn't bother him as he thought this dressing was worth it for where he was going to.
However, he knew that something was missing. While his shirt was tucked in, he knew that he wouldn't leave it this way.
And then he decided. "A suit!" He reached for a suit and as was he was about to wear it, he saw himself on the mirror once more.
"What am I doing. It's not like I'm going for a interview or something." He murmured.
And after a while of thinking, he kept the suit back and reached out for his jacket.
His black jacket.
He wore it and then looked at himself. "Now this is more like it. Looking more like those rich spoilt guys…" Ken smiled as he felt his glow up and.
Afterwards, while he had finished dressing, he took his phone and left his house.
