Harem Startup : The Demon Billionaire is on Vacation

Chapter 212: I Can See Your Panties From Here

Mira had just drop-kicked another rat in the throat. Her tongfas shot mid-roll, clean through another demon's eye. Her foot came down on its jaw as she landed.

And… she looked good.

Her cheongsam was ripped, exposing the curve of her thigh and the strap of a hidden garter that clearly housed her weapons. Her eyes burned like she was calculating their net worth mid-slaughter.

But no time for horniness.

Absolutely no time.

Another demon lunged from the ceiling.

Lux backflipped—barely avoiding its claws—and landed hard, one knee bent, one leg out.

The demon turned mid-air.

He grabbed a chair, flung it.

The chair broke over its face.

It hit the ground twitching.

"Last one!" Mira yelled.

The final rat—bigger than the rest, a head taller, more twitching mass than form—charged them both, screaming, claws red with mana poison.

Lux rolled to the side, Mira to the opposite.

The rat hesitated.

Split its attention.

Bad call.

Lux lunged low, dragging his body across the blood-slicked floor, twisting into a half-spin.

He stabbed Devorare up into its knee—anchoring it.

The rat shrieked.

Then—

Mira jumped.

One foot planted on Lux's thigh, the other slammed onto his chest.

She landed, one knee down on his ribs, steady as a mountaintop.

And fired.

-BANG!

Mana bullet.

Straight through the rat's face.

-Pop!

Silence.

For half a breath, nothing moved.

Then the rat demon collapsed. Dead. Melting.

And finally—finally—

Everything slowed.

Mira was still kneeling on top of him.

One knee pressed to his chest.

One foot braced on the floor.

Her tongfas still raised, her breathing heavy, chest rising and falling in tight, controlled gasps.

And Lux… was pinned beneath her.

Back against the blood-slick tile, Amare in one hand, Devorare still lodged in the now-dead demon beside his hip.

His eyes drifted upward—and, yeah, okay, that was definitely a glimpse of her lace panties under that shredded cheongsam slit.

But this was not the time.

He winced, turned his head quickly, and said hoarsely, "…You good?"

Mira blinked.

Still panting.

She looked around.

Bodies.

Ash.

Blood.

Graevos watching silently from the shadows.

Then back to him.

"You could even summon that thing?" she asked, nodding at the three-headed wolf.

"That thing has a name," Lux muttered. "He's a good servant."

He raised his hand lazily and snapped his fingers.

Graevos nodded once—then vanished into a cloud of black mist and ember sparks.

Mira looked back down at Lux.

Her expression was unreadable.

For a second.

Then—deadpan.

She pointed her tongfa directly at his nose.

"So," she said. "Mind explaining to me, Mr. Hell's CFO?"

Lux coughed, not even trying to move from under her.

His daggers vanished with a soft flicker of mana.

"I will," he said. "I promise."

He glanced up at her again.

"But can you maybe… not straddle me while I do?"

And then—

The dome cracked.

[Pocket Dimension: Destabilizing]

[Returning to Primary Phase in 3… 2… 1…]

A burst of pressure rolled over them like a reverse explosion.

And suddenly—

The world snapped back.

Light.

Sound.

The clink of plates.

The koi pond, the lanterns, the smell of jasmine and roasted duck.

They were back in the real restaurant.

No demons.

No blood.

No broken wine bar.

Except…

Mira was still on top of Lux.

One knee braced on his ribs.

Bloodied tongfas in both hands.

Her dress hiked.

His chest rising under her thigh.

The restaurant staff pushed aside the privacy screen—

And stepped in carrying dessert.

Two servers froze mid-step, eyes wide, mouths falling open.

One dropped a plate.

The other just blinked and whispered, "Holy—"

Mira turned her head, slowly.

Stared at them.

Still not moving.

Lux coughed and looked up at her.

"Now that's what I call lunch and a show."

Mira didn't move.

Still straddling him, still panting, still gripping her tongfas like a woman not entirely done being dangerous.

One of the servers, bless his soul, was still frozen in place holding a tray of dragonfruit sorbet, visibly questioning his life choices.

The other had already dropped the custard buns and was slowly backing away like he'd walked in on some ancient ritual that could curse three generations of his bloodline.

A long, awful silence dragged across the restaurant.

Mira turned her head and gave them the flattest, most terrifying look known to dragon-kind.

"I assume," she said without blinking, "dessert is complimentary now?"

The younger server nodded so hard his neck might've snapped.

"Yes, ma'am. Right away, ma'am."

And then they were gone.

Fast. Silent. Like ninja waiters.

Lux exhaled.

"Can we sit down now?" he asked, voice strained.

"No."

"I can see your panties from here."

She blinked.

Then very calmly stood up, brushing herself off and stepping away like a queen who just executed someone mid-court.

"No you can't," she muttered.

"Yes I did."

"Then die with that secret."

Lux pulled himself off the blood-slick floor and straightened his ruined blazer. It was stained with ichor and torn at the elbow, but at least his shirt still clung in that flattering way that made his torso look carved.

He adjusted his collar, sat back down, and eyed the dessert being re-served—shakily—on a side table ten feet away, like the waiters were leaving offerings to two very angry gods.

Mira took her seat across from him.

Still disheveled.

Still deadly.

Still watching.

"I'm listening," she said simply.

Lux met her eyes.

And for once, he didn't joke.

"Like I said," he began, "I'm the Hell's CFO."

She tilted her head slightly.

"I manage the treasury and investments of the seven infernal dominions. Liquidity, legacy assets, soul bonds, eternal contracts, cursed properties, wealth blessings, war dividends—you name it."

Mira stared.

No sarcasm. No mockery. Just… listening.

"I'm also the son of Greed," he added. "And Lust. And no, it wasn't a merger. They're married. They're actually kind of gross about it."
