Harem Stealer: Reborn with the God-Tier Sharing System

Chapter 274: Cheats

'So tell me, what's your new abilities.' Noah asked in his mind.

[All the past abilities are still intact and even enhanced. Beside that, you can now share the rank of the women you bond with. Not only rank but even their comprehension in laws they have mastered or started to understand.]

[Also, I have obtained the abilities of: Causal Authority, Threads Perception, and Oath of the First Thread.]

Providence said, then:

[Causal Authority: it's an authority that grants you the power to insert causes for desired effects, retroactively.]

[Thread Perception: You gain partial access to the threads of others. You can glimpse their fate, potential, and motivations.]

[Oath of the First Thread: It allows you to declare a binding truth or promise that becomes law across all realities.]

Noah looked at all these abilities. He understood Thread Perception, but what about Causal Authority and Oath of the First Thread?

'I understand… but not that much.' He said.

[Let me give you examples.] Providence replied.

[For Causal Authority, a concrete example will be: in a fight, you get impaled through the chest by a weapon that should kill you. But retroactively you say, 'I survived this wound because I trained especially for this.' And you will survive, even if you were supposed to be dead—because you've trained for this, even if you didn't.]

Noah stood there, eyes wide.

'This is a cheat, Providence.'

[Yes. But the cause must be believable, or it won't work.]

[For Oath of the First Thread, it's just simple in fact. You make an oath while binding something with it. For example: 'I won't die until all the beings inside this universe are dead.']

[You will not die in that case, but the moment all the beings inside the universe are dead, then you will die—no matter what you do, Noah. So be careful of your oaths.]

[Also, you can only make one oath at a time.]

Providence finished her explanation, making Noah understand more of his abilities. And he had nothing else to say except they were cheats.

He thought he was getting used to cheats, but each time… he was surprised. Because with these two abilities added to Epithet and his Domain The Genesis, without forgetting his possibility to now share the rank of the women he bonds with…

Well…

'Danger? Heh. Just come to me. And hopefully, you will be a woman.' Noah thought as a big devilish grin appeared on his face.

[Are you thinking of something perverted again?] Providence asked.

Noah smiled,

'Who knows. By the way, since you've taken human form made of threads, why don't you get out so that I can see my wife system?' Noah said with a smile.

If the system's face was visible right now, you would have seen a wide, beautiful, and contented smile on her lips. A smile that showed how happy she was to hear Noah call her wife.

[Yes… I am your wife. I am Providence Vaelgrim,] she said proudly, happy beyond measure.

Noah laughed softly.

Then,

[But I still can't take human form. I need the Origins of Fate, Destiny, and Causality—then create the Origin of Providence—to be complete and finally take a physical form and be with you, see you with my own eyes and… many more.] Providence said, feeling quite sad that she had to wait again.

Even Noah frowned a little, and that's when he remembered he was already in the process of obtaining Origins from shadow.

He turned his head and saw Shadow looking at him as if he was looking at something utterly incomprehensible.

Noah smiled inwardly, pleased by this. Because with what just happened, Shadow would be a fool to refuse what he was about to propose.

"Sorry for this little interruption. I didn't know all this would happen."

He shook his head in mock pity.

"It's so hard to be exceptional. Power-ups happen to you randomly." He sighed in lamentation, as if tired of being this talented.

Shadow looked at him speechlessly.

Noah simply clapped his hands with a smile,

"Let's forget about all this. Instead, I have a deal for you."

Without waiting for a response,

"If you give me your Origins, I promise you won't lose your power nor your freedom. Granted the power will be less and you will be under my wife, but in counterpart, you will have the opportunity to see how shadow can evolve further than its current state and become something more."

He paused for a moment, then with a voice more serious than before,

"I hope you will give me face, father-in-law, and take into account my relationship with Shadeva please… and don't make things difficult for me." He said.

Because if he refused… he wouldn't mind trying his new abilities on him.

Shadow's mind raced with different thoughts. He was tempted to refuse, to be stubborn—but that would have been really foolish of him.

He didn't fully understand what he had just witnessed, but he knew it was something utterly dreadful and horrific.

And Shadow was all things except a suicidal bastard.

He liked peace and ease.

And if he took a step back to look at it objectively, it was not a bad deal—no, it was even a wonderful one.

He got to keep his freedom, retain enough power, have the chance to see his affinity grow… and more importantly, got to have an abomination as a son-in-law.

Trouble would come, but it would be worth it.

So with all this…

"I accept." Shadow finally said.

Noah smiled, but there was a small disappointment inside.

'I wanted to try my new abilities…' he sighed with regret. But,

"Perfect!" he said joyfully.

Instantly, two objects appeared in front of them.

One looked like black liquid that flowed endlessly around itself. Its very presence twisted the void around them, and shadows started to appear from nowhere.

The other was black in color too, but weird to describe—because it changed shape constantly without stopping.

They were the Origins of Shadow and Formlessness.

They floated toward Noah, who took them and placed them inside the core of Laeh immediately.

"Is it finally over? Can you go back now?" Shadow asked, already tired.

But Noah only smiled,

"Over? Not at all. There is still one thing I have to ask you, Shadow."

He paused, then—

"Why did you let your other children seal Shadeva?"

"Tell me… who are responsible behind all this?"
